The desk manager Demitrus was a great person gentleman and a wise person even someone I’d probably hangout with back home. We both from the same city in NY. GOOD SPIRIT and he keeps the same energy w every customer I notice and is very knowledgeable about the property area and his line of work. ALSO Yolanda and Maria and Luciana were amazingly helpful. Maria went above and beyond for the birthday we celebrated. I tipped her and Yolanda for it too I rarely do that. - HOWEVER whoever the Caucasian gentleman working overnight was ? Around 1130pm? Dark hair white skin? Very rude. I wanted to simply get 1 canned malt drink and Maria and Yolanda let me have it the same time night before ( which is normal - not tryna get drunk just have a taste ! I’m a grown 200 lb man!). And that Caucasian gentleman was rude and abrupt. He said and we quote “absolutely not sorry. Past 10 pm I don’t give alcohol to anyone. It’s dangerous for the staff thanks though goodnight and I won’t say it twice “. Nasty. What if someone brought back a bottle? Is he going to steal it ? He was a bit crazy. The Caucasian nerd that was rude about buying a simple can of high noon at night

The hotel was beautifully designed with a wonderful lobby to relax or work out of. The room was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant with a lovely view of the river. Parking was easy and free, love that. Overall, a great hotel. I will be staying there whenever I am in town for business. I think it is an incredible value for a hotel of that quality.

There was not a warm enough blanket on the bed during a time when the weather was pretty chilly. I asked the staff if they could bring me another blanket and they were happy to accommodate.

I like the hotel design and bed mattress. they are super comfortable. I had very good sleep after crashing onto the bed except annoying loud air conditioner noisy even they were turned off! Room maid service is very rare (once a week) even you requested it daily. so every day when you come back and open the door, wow, everything stays same! DIY. The hotel restaurant cooks tasty food obviously. It always surprised me for the breakfast. But the upset thing was that you have to wait for almost an hour or at least 40 minutes to get your oder. that really takes very long time. I saw some people leaving without breakfast after sitting 20 minutes. The parking place is on the opposite street. Sometimes it is full if you drive in late. It is not free, 10 dollars per day. All in all, the hotel is running by Hilton. I was expecting a quiet room and good serivce but it made me annoyed.

The first room was way too warm - the heating and AC didn't work and were very noisy. The front desk person had no idea what to do and just said he'd get back to me in 30 minutes. He never did. I had to ask him again to fix the problem. Finally, they moved me to a different room after discovering the system wasn't working. Very frustrating to unpack and then have to repack a couple hours later.

The parking lot across the street was a little inconvenient. The heating system/AC didn't work.

Very clean and well-appointed hotel. The overall vibe was super relaxing. However, the standout feature was the staff. I want to call out the restaurant staff in particular. I had a mouth sore and had to ask for salt packs and hot water several times throughout my stay. The staff was kind and generous, responding quickly to my request each time. This is what counts. I will be back!

No water pressure in the shower and open bathroom.

EVERYTHING

My only hiccup was the front desk agent(which I later found out was new) forgot to mark our room as occupied and another couple walked in our room at 3am while we were sleep. Management was super apologetic and did not make any excuses. She explained NOTHING made that situation ok and was very accommodating. Even with this small hiccup I will definitely be back sooner than later. I didn’t even care by the end of it lol

Unique decor and design. I love the history of the building and how parts were preserved.

This is my 3rd time staying here and the person checking me in at the desk is never friendly. It surprises me in the service industry. Each time I have approached the desk with enthusiasm, at the start of my trip, I was greeted with indifference and a lack of warmth or welcome. The experience at the desk takes away from the overall satisfaction .

Great bed, great shower. The refurbished mill is a luxury hotel, very stylish as well as comfortable. The setting by a river is lovely, a great patio provides beautiful river (and moonlight) views. Near a shopping center for various amenities. Very welcoming staff.

No problems.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, there was an area rug under the bed but otherwise the floors were not carpeted. Bath products were good. The bar/restaurant had a nice location on the river and the breakfast was good.

The HVAC unit was noisy and could not be turned off. The bathroom had an impractically small sink and few rather flimsy towels.

The property is a terrific spot and great use of an old mill

Every thing was great. My one and only complaint is that the bathroom sink is ridiculously small and narrow. You cannot wash your face or brush your teeth without hitting your head on the mirror in front of it. Very, very poor design
