Everything about our stay at Veluvana was amazing. The most creative and inspiring boutique villas nestled in paradise. Each room is unique and mind-blowing. From hydraulic beds to hidden waterways and a view that will take your breath away. The owner and creator is a local to the village and what the team is doing here is unreal. Service was spectacular, you don't even know there are other guests staying, the whole place feels Iike it was created for you just for that moment. The beautiful night you will ever spend among the stars. We look forward to our return to check out more of the Veluvana vibes.

Since it is a romantic memorable stay the first walk through of the house we prefer to do by our selves but the staff was there and was a little awkward, when getting emotional. Would have been better if she comes later like 5-10min later.

From the beginning to the end... spotless and absolutely amazing. The welcome was warm and the team was not leaving any wish unanswered. We spend our night in MANTA which was absolutely worth it.was like sleeping with the nature. A breathtaking view to the volcano and your own little rice field which comes with the villa. The pictures do not serve it justice. Outside shower and a "throne" in the nature. It came with its own pool and swing, fully stocked minibar, free water, coffee and tea. We had lovely houseguests such as little geckos, and fireflies. You wake up in the morning with the sunrise announced by the rooster. Breakfast will be served to the villa and it was delicious. We had a lot of privacy as every villa is having its own natural walls. It was a truly amazing experience

We didn't invite the mosquitoes. They invited themselves (but every villa is prepared with repellent) Grab is allowed ro drop you off but very hard to pick up. Hotel transfers are available

Staying at Veluvana Bali was truly a special experience! The bamboo villas are beautifully designed and surrounded by lush greenery, making you feel like you’re right in the middle of nature. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and disconnect from the busy world. What really stood out was the amazing staff. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and always made sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Their hospitality made our stay even better. If you’re open to exploring the wilderness and don’t mind a few jungle quirks, Veluvana Bali is an experience you won’t forget! Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and unique stays.

One thing to keep in mind is that being in the jungle means you’ll hear lots of insect sounds at night. It might not be for everyone, but it’s all part of the adventure and charm of staying so close to nature.

Everything. The staff was attentive with bags the moment we exited our grab. They informed us about the Villa and walked us through all it's features. They also gave us refreshing drinks. Food was always hot and was ordered through WhatsApp. The Octopus villa with the roof top pool was well worth the booking on its own. Very accommodating with breaktaking views. The staff made the experience perfect with their demeanor and attention. Truly felt welcomed.

I recently had an incredible stay at Veluvana in Sidemen, Bali. The Manta House was an absolute gem, easily the most beautiful hotel room I've ever experienced. The attention to detail and aesthetics were simply stunning. The highlight of my stay, though, was the exceptional attitude and service provided by the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to make my visit memorable and comfortable. Special shout-outs to Surya and Gede, who made my stay even more delightful. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was truly commendable. I left Veluvana deeply satisfied with the overall experience and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Words cannot describe how perfect this stay was! From the moment you step on the grounds, you are greeted by the most kind and attentive staff and shown around your little piece of heaven. It is unlike anything I have ever stayed in before and these people quickly become friends rather than staff. The open layout of Cobra house means you are immersed in the beautiful Balinese countryside with no interruptions. Nothing was too much trouble from the staff and they prepared us beautiful meals three times a day all made from local produce at reasonable prices.

This place is exceptional. The staff is very welcoming and will do their best to make your stay memorable. The villa we were in oversees a small private rice terrace and a jungle, so the view is amazing. As for the villa itself, it is incurable - 2 stories, mostly made out of bamboo, first floor completely open without windows (the villa has a private lockable area), with an open-air shower and toilet, and with a private pool. This is definitely a next-level experience for us. We have ordered a romantic dinner, and the whole experience was indeed very romantic and personal - the staff decorated the dining table with a huge heart made of petals on the floor, the table itself was decorated with more petals and candles, and the dinner course was local cuisine made out of locally sourced ingredients that same morning. The staff serving the dinner spoke perfect English and made the dining experience very personal. I would highly recommended the romantic dinner for couples on a honeymoon or another romantic event. We have ordered the floating breakfast upgrade that was also very good! The portion sizes for breakfast were bigger than we expected, which is a good thing. Food presentation for both breakfast and dinner was top notch - the food looked and smelled great. In general, the food served at this place, dinner, breakfast, or a la carte, was great! I can write a lot about this place, but in short - it is worth spending the time going to this remote villa.

The bugs, but luckily the bug spray and bug lamp were provided on-site, together with quite small lizards that protected us.

My husband and I came here as part of our honeymoon trip. We wanted a unique stay in a bamboo house with lots of character. Veluvana did not disappoint! We stayed in Manta house and loved that we felt like we were in nature’s womb inside a treehouse. The views! The amazing wildlife! All of the details to bring nature in were stunning. You do loose some of the traditional amenities in favor of aesthetic, but since we stayed for 2 nights we didn’t mind. This is not a place for young children. Typical safety architecture is missing. We were two adults and we loved being trusted with the layout of the house. Design for the win. It was pretty warm during our stay (all of Bali seems to be 10 degrees hotter than typical), so the second story bedroom was on the warm side. The staff provided two fans, so we slept well. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was really yummy. Anything we needed was just a WhatsApp message away. Thank you to Devi, Surya, Kadek, and Gede for ensuring every moment of our visit was special.

At times the design went a touch too far. We didn’t have storage for our items except for on the ground. The shower was a touch intense.

this property is wonderful, overlooking the rice fields, completely immersed in nature and so private. you feel you are in your own bamboo home in Bali!
