We stayed in Avalon and Rudi's B&B for a family wedding: two brothers plus partners and children as well as parents. We were accommodated well with lovely bedrooms (four with bathrooms - the couple with the school aged children shared the one bathroom). The house is spacious and comfortable. A delicious continental breakfast is provided and access to the kitchen (but not cooking facilities) as well as tea/coffee was very handy. Great location in Palm Beach with a nice walk down to Pittwater through bushland right next to the house. A plus was the room upstairs with two massage chairs! A very pleasurable stay. Thanks!

Rudy and Avalon were the perfect hosts. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the balcony was the perfect spot to relax and gaze at the calm blue ocean yonder. The deluxe continental breakfast put on by Avalon was absolutely flawless, delicious and it set us up for the day of walking around the local area and exploring. We even got a bird feeding show from Rudy while we were having breakfast, we saw the giant cockatoos and kookaburras, and the tenacious and charming lorakeets, as well as the brightly coloured king parrots, all having breakfast with us together. Thank you guys for making our Good Friday stay something really special!

Avalon and Rudi are the most generous and welcoming couple we have ever imagined. They make us feel at home, and listening to their stories and experiences is a pleasure. We especially loved the atmosphere at breakfast; there was a great connection with the other guests, and Avalon paid lovely attention to every detail. Rudi and his bird friends are spectacular! They lived in a beautiful, calm, relaxing spot up the hill, completely immersed in a memorabilia atmosphere. We traveled by bus, and they were so kind to give us a ride to the restaurant and rescue us from the rain. All perfect. Thank you!

Very friendly and helpful owners, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast in this private home. Enjoyed seeing the Kookaburras and other birds being hand fed whilst having breakfast. Enjoyed the experience and don't let my negative comments put one off trying if wanting to stay in Palm Beach, weather not good when we were there and we aren't beach fans.

Not able to give full marks as there wasn't much of interest for us locally, also the accommodation a little pricey compared to other places we had been staying in round Australia but we still enjoyed our visit.

The breakfast was very carefully attended to by Avalon and Rudi ,we all got a delicious little bowl of fruit salad freshly made by them with seasonal fruits to start. There was also a great selection of cereals and breads for us to enjoy. While we had breakfast Rudi fed the birds for us on the patio what a spectacle that was ! The location was leafy and quiet and not far to go for anything you might want.

Nothing it couldn't have been better !

Rudi and Avalon were fabulous hosts, they went out of their way to give us such a special experience. They welcomed us with open arms as if we were family.The quality of the room, the breakfast and their helpfulness was second to none. It was the best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed in and hope to go back one day. A most exhilarating experience and would like to add that their hospitality was outstanding.

Everything was fabulous

We loved our beautiful, peaceful room overlooking the gardens and with a view of the water through the trees. Our bathroom was divine and the bed super comfortable. Avalon and Rudi are exceptional hosts and treated us as if we were members of their family. The breakfast was delicious and came accompanied by an entertaining wild bird show! We had the best stay and would return in a heartbeat.

We loved absolutely everything!

A quiet beautiful area with fantastic friendly hosts. They even gave us a lift to the wedding we attended in a beautiful old Bentley. The bird feeding whilst having the included breakfast was great. Another person staying that night accidentally backed into our car, the hosts helped us out by passing on their contact information which we really appreciated. Our only regret is we didn't get to stay long enough. We'll definitely look to stay here again next time we're up that way!

Everything about our stay exceeded any expectation we had. The breakfast had the wow factor! From quality, to selection, to service, everything provided by our hosts was second to none. The accommodation was private and clean. Our bathroom smelled so lovely with mood reeds wafting beautiful fragrance. Rudi and Avalon were full of information about the surrounding area and their knowledge and years of experience was truly appreciated. Not once did we feel like we were imposing on their time and we witnessed them treat each guest with the same level of personal attention. It was an amazing experience and we will rave about this for a long time to come. If you have the opportunity to come here you must grab it! :)

Breakfast was delicious. The house was gorgeous and you have the full use of it during your stay. Surrounded by beautiful houses and trees. Feeding the birds every morning was a real treat. The hosts were very kind and gave excellent recommendations on free parking in the area and places to eat. We enjoyed chatting with the hosts at breakfast about their own travels. Very close to Palm Beach would probably be best using a car as it very hilly.
