Goood value for price, location is great if you wish to have quick access to visit the small islands around the lake...1 minute walk to the boats.Isola Bella is a must see and the price for museum and gardens totally worth it. Train station and city center are quite far...15-20 min walk..same for supermarkets, stores, retaurants. There is also a bar downstairs that serves drinks and some foods. If you have spare time..you can walk the pedestrian alley around the lake..it takes you close to city center and has a lot of nice views and places to make photos. The room was nice and quite confortable , there is also a small swimming pool downstairs in the hotel. We also had breakfast here and it was nice.

A small fridge in the room would be a good addition.

The location is perfect. It is right next to the lake and the islands. The ferry is just outside the hotel. The room was spacious with an outside space. The swimming pool is a nice touch. The breakfast was very good. We only spent a night here but were very happy with our choice. The hotel is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the centre of Stresa. There is free parking.

The hotel is a little difficult to find. There was no obvious parking space but the staff quickly assisted us. The rooms are a little dated but do not be put off by this.

The hotel has its own parking lot that is extremely important for this surrounding. Also, it is located very close to the boats station, so we could reach all sites located on the islands and far coasts. We also recommend taking a walk along the promenade, which starts right next to the hotel. The breakfast was good and plentiful.

We missed having a small fridge in our room, especially since we'd brought some food with us from our previous apartment. However, it wasn't a major issue.

The hotel is very convenient in terms of location, parking and lots of space. We liked the old fashion charm! It is right at Carciano port for visiting the islands and walking distance from the centre of Stresa but very quiet as it is a little hidden from the tourist buzz. The room and bathroom are big, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is excellent! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The property is 2 mins away from the port which is very helpful if you want to spend the day island hopping. The hotel also has an included parking which is great and free. The staff were helpful, friendly, and smiling all the time. The breakfast was small but delicious nevertheless.

The property is a bit old, the bed mattress was very hard, and our door didn’t close unless we pushed/slammed it at least 4 times (we basically woke the whole hotel up with us in the mornings).

Friendly helpful staff. Fair choice at breakfast. Excellent location for the ferry and station. Although very dated the rooms were clean which is the most important thing. A great base from which to enjoy the beauties of Lake Maggiore at a reasonable price. Stresa town was but a short and pleasant walk away - approx 20 minutes.

Good hotel, good room, spacious bathroom with bathtub. In addition to the little terrace, the garden with sunbeds with view of the mountains is a hit! The location is also top, with boats to the Borromean islands starting right in front of the hotel, and Stresa walkway along the lake just around the corner. The indoor pool is a gem in the evening or on a rainy day.

Breakfast could have a few more options (how about Mozzarella and Parma ham? ;)

In fact, the hotel is located in a beautiful place, very close to the Lago Maggiore, near a boat station, to discover the Islands and the lake. The room was big enough, the breakfast is rich, with tasteful foods, sweets, fruits. We enjoyed the terrace, the quiet location, the peace. Parking is easy, the hotel has own parking place.

The pillows - it seems that this is characteristic in Italy- were rigid. AC is weak.

Our room was bright with an excellent water view of Lago Maggiore and we enjoyed sitting out on the large balcony. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and the wait staff were very accommodating. The hotel is in a great location to walk the panoramic path to the town center but also to get the boats to the Borromean Islands.

The bed was quite hard and we had to use the extra blanket for cushioning.

Don’t be put off by the uninspiring outside appearance of this hotel, it is really nice inside, very clean and well cared for, nice buffet breakfast, nice warm pool to relax in, almost on the waterfront where the boats go back and forth to the Borromean islands, and a relaxing walk into town along the gardens hugging the lake. Really pleasant and helpful staff throughout the hotel.
