Great location right on the beach. Very family friendly, not overly crowded in the restaurant or the pool. Staff was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating.

Room service options were limited and you had to call to have your plates taken when you were done.

This hotel was the definition of a dreamy escape! They had everything we needed, standup paddle boarding, extremely knowledgeable english speaking friendly staff, and an amazing restaurant. We saw monkey's everyday! All of the rooms are nestled amongst the trees but the beach is only steps away - it is the perfect combination. We went offsite for dinner only one night because the restaurant was so good, we wanted to eat at the hotel! The sunsets were perfect. We also got massages from the hotel and they were out of this world - the best we've ever had (and we get many)!

We loved the monkeys but in the morning, they are loud. If you're serious about your sleep, it can be disruptive but it should be a special and unique experience!

We had a great time! The staff was so sweet and accommodating! The restaurant staff was beyond exceptional. The rooms were clean and the beach was beautiful! The beach is second to none, it was never super crowded and the temperature was perfect. We even got to see some eagle rays glide past us! The pool is great, perfect for kids.

The wifi was spotty at times in the room, but that just reminded me to get off my phone and get to the beach. There’s a little gap between the door and the floor so there were some bugs in the room, but that wasn’t a big deal.

Beautiful spot right on the beach with an open air restaurant and bar. Grounds were lush. Beach had very few people each day. The staff were incredibly friendly. Johnathan was so kind to our children at dinner and encouraged them to speak Spanish. Alexis greeted us every morning at breakfast and shared about their culture. Roy arranged some great tours for us. Jairo was the most kind and attentive person.

The elevator in our building did not work

The hotel was amazing. When we checked in, we were greeted with a delightful fruit drink before being shown our rooms. To say our rooms were spacious is an understatement. My husband and I had a garden view room, and it was huge: a large walk in shower, couch sofa, two queen beds, a deck, two tvs, fridge, coffee maker, etc. The location could not have been better. It was a five (or less) minute walk to the beach, a somewhat secluded bay, with gorgeous sunsets. The food at the hotel was excellent; we enjoyed breakfast and happy hour with a light supper almost every day we were there. Highly recommend.

A bir isolated. No minibar, snacks, tea or bottled water available in the room, no clothes line or drying rack in the room while having a rule of not hanging wet bathers etc on verandah; small pool, “outdoor hot tub” in fact an outdoor bath with no hot water! A bit pricey, breakfast extra.

The staff at the hotel were wonderful. Everyone went the extra mile to assure that we truly enjoyed our visit. Restaurant was excellent- with wonderful local cuisine. We would certainly recommend the Bosque for a wonderful beach hotel experience.

There was a wedding on the beach during our stay - the party lasted into the wee hours of the night. We understand that these folks love to party- it was a bit noisy but- we understood.

beautiful, relaxed jungle/beach vibes! everything walkable on beach. great staff to greet us on arrival! delicious smoothies. though not perfect, I would definitely go back! my kids adored the pool and it was great not having to drive anywhere.

the property was doing construction right near our room which made it difficult for our baby to nap. also the outdoor showers were under construction which made it really hard to go between the sand, the pool and the room without being messy. the walkways around the property need to be cleaned every day. there was monkey poop in the same exact spots the whole 3 days that was never cleaned. the restaurant needs to add some vegan options. while they tried to accommodate us, there weren’t good options and we only ate there once. chilled bottled water and snacks in the shuttle and in the room would be a great addition for travelers arriving late, hungry and thirsty.

Breakfast was spendy but very good. Location and grounds were beautiful. Appreciate the ready supply of beach towels. Rooms were extremely clean.

1. We did not request a quiet room as the survey suggests- this was not a romantic get away 2. The hot tub was not what we expected. It was a bathtub with no jets. 3. The air conditioning didn't work in our room the first night, but was fixed and it was attended to promptly

We had a wonderful experience at Bosque Del Mar and the staff was lovely. We loved the cool and comfortable hotel rooms and the shaded pool area. The beach was lovely and we lucked out with amazing weather!

The beach chairs could be a little more comfortable, but we still spent a lot of time in them!
