The location was excellent. Very close to ski lifts and ski-in. Very comfortable beds (even the bed sofa) and very quiet at night. The nearby grocery store was very small - but had everything we needed at decent prices. Very friendly and helpful hosts. There was a bar/after ski and restaurant connected to the residence with a good selection of drinks and food for good prices. There was ski storage and good heaters for the ski boots. Hand soap was provided in the bathroom, but no other toiletries.

The apartment was a bit cramped as we were 4 people. Had to keep moving the table to be able to access the stairs/balcony door/wardrobe. But if the bed sofa isn't used there is ample space. The kitchen unit was small, so you had to be very organized to be able to prepare food. Also there were limited kitchen utensils (but plenty of pots and pans). There was washing up liquid, but no kitchen towel, nor sponge for washing up. But when we asked we were provided with these. There is good parking in the basement - but it was full when we arrived and there was no other parking available at Staffal when we arrived (Saturday morning) so we got a parking fine as we had no other option than to park along the road.

The aparthotel is located perfectly next to lifts and hiking trails. The staff is friendly. The apartment is new and clean. For two people the size is good, for more people I think it would be too small. The restaurant is well decorated and food is tasty, we tried lunch and dinner there.

The parking garage is a bit tight and costs 9 Euro per day. It would be useful to have some shelf for a shower gel and some hook for a toilet paper. The sauna is a bit basic, it would be nice to have some relaxation area next to the sauna. The shop in the village is very small and expensive. So, it's good to shop beforehand, as shops below the mountain are bigger with more variety.

Fortunately, your breakfast corresponded better to what is touted as "Continental breakfast", as opposed to the saccharin-and-caffeine-kick combination of coffee, croissants and cakes proffered in many hotels down in the Po Plain. At your current price, I still would have liked to see an option of even healthier food, including dark rye bread, much as I have found in similar accommodation in Trentino and Alto Adige.

As I believe other visitors have already remarked, I too found the mattrasses to be a bit too rigid for my comfort. Given my stiff back, at home I have chosen to invest in a mattress made by a premium Swedish mattress maker (called Dux), generally considered to be an industrial standard, but seemingly not offered in Italy. Of course I understand that, for you, upgrading your mattresses is a question of investment; nevertheless, I suggest that you consider a quality brand somewhere between IKEA (as I believe yours to be) and Hastens (Royal Supplier to the King of Sweden and chosen by the one-and-only seven-star hotel in Abu Dhabi). Need I say more?

Our balcony area was ground floor and opened out onto the ski bar so everyone post ski drinking could see into our room hence very little privacy. Could have done with a couple more kitchen utensils. It was a very small studio with sofa bed a few feet away from kitchen. It felt expensive for how small it was.

Amazing residence, right next to the lift and with the slopes ending right at the entrance of it, so that you can properly ski in - the staff was super cordial, and loved the rooms, which were effectively each a small apartment, with loads of space! Would recommend!

Located right on the slopes. Large bedroom, spacious wardrobe and well equipped kitchen. Has 2 balconies with chairs and table, so you can spend time outside. Covered parking.

Could be hard to get into garage if you drive large car. Unfortunately, there is no oven or toaster.

Really nice breakfast however 15€ is quite a lot for breakfast. There was also a lot of food with it, but probably more than a person eats. I found it a better option to just order something separately (like museli, bread and marmalade or croissant) other than the set breakfast.

The stay was perfect and the location was magic

You have to be careful about scamers like Daniele and Eduardo they will promise you that you go to Capana Margherita without any warning , they take you 700 euro and then when you are half of the way you realize that is not beginner how they promised is Advanced and you have to come down and your money remain to them ...

Great stay in a lovely hotel. Alessia couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating - even adding some things to her personal shopping list that we couldn't easily get locally. An excellent breakfast that we all looked forward to each morning, and although there is no restaurant in the evenings there is a 'room-service' menu that worked well for us as we had a kitchenette and table in our room. Room wasn't huge, but was flexible with the mezzanine level and sofa bed in the living room. Good after-hours sledging at the bottom of the ski run just outside the hotel kept the kids happy after skiing.

Just asked the kids if there was anything they didn't like - "no - it was amazing!". Shame the snow was a bit tired, but can't pin that on the Walsertal!

The location is amazing, literally the one of the last houses in the end of valley, with view to 4-thousanders. The breakfast is lovely, the staff is helpful. During the start of the summer it was amazingly quite and relaxing to stay there.

The bed could be a bit more confortable.
