Tru is so much better than the usual hotels where we stay (like Econo Lodge & Holiday Inn Express), but the lobby seemed like a confusing jumble of the reception desk, a market, coffee station, and seating area; maybe because this was our first visit to any Tru & we just needed to get comfortable with the layout. Check-in was thru the app but no one was at the desk when we arrived. Also, not see any signs giving us any idea of where the elevators were, and what services were available in the lobby. Those minor issues were quickly forgotten once we were settled into our spacious room & lounging on the comfortable bed. Overall, a very pleasant experience. We will gladly stay at Tru again.

Location was ideal for our needs. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable for our brief overnight stay. Loved the light blocking window shades--sealed on the edges. Bed was super comfortable. Very quiet room, though the hotel was full. Bathroom was very nice with a fantastic shower! Found a great seafood restaurant nearby in Florence. Very likely to stay here again as location is on a frequent travel route. Well equipped gym for a road weary car traveler.

Staff wasn't particularly friendly, but that didn't really impact our stay. We didn't need to ask anything from them.

Felt safe at hotel. Not so much in surrounding areas. Breakfast was really nice. Pancake machine had me interested. Tasted great with strawberry and whip toppling

The elevator didn't work when I was going up from breakfast. It just stayed on first floor. Very hard trying to moved items down 3 flights of stairs to leave. I told front desk. No one was sent to help me. I didn't really want help but serious I should have received help or compensation.

No Deadbolt safety latch. Room cleaning lady repeatedly knocking on door from 11:30 am for access to clean the room with 12 noon checkout. We arrived at 4:30am.

I know that this property allows pets. For the life of me I can’t understand the reasoning behind this except money. I hate the fact that no rooms are not set aside for people who don’t have pets. Mine you I have nothing against pets… but for them to sleep with me- another issue. Because of my sensitive sinus, I can easily catch odors. That being said, there was a faint odor of pet smells. I find it difficult to find hotels that don’t allow pets. 😞. PS. Please fix the loud fan.

The rooms were very spacious, cleaned and comfortable everything worked. It was a cheer pleasure to be in a handicap room that I had plenty of room to move around.

The fact that we showed up early and they told me we had to wait two hours for a room. We only people waiting to be it would’ve made sense to have housekeeping go clean a room we were going into, but only an hour past, and the gentleman said our room is ready, great amenities as well

not much to complain about the “Tru” concept of Hilton, apart that they are getting a bit too pricey, at times more or less indifferent front office staff, primarily in the southern US. Impeccably clean as usual, but NOT all created equal….. some people still like to read books of magazines before going to bed, the lack of reading lamps was obvious, but not the «  5th degree 150 Watt /LED lamps over the bed need to go. Mr Manager perhaps you should leave your office on a while and go on a tour! Will NOT return there, to Florence, SC

Fallon at front desk was exceptional. She was super friendly and very accommodating to my request. She informed of the rewards program and checked in to make sure everything was ok with my room.

The people in next room was very noisy, slamming doors until 2:00 a.m. and had the tv volume turned up so loud that it was coming through the wall.

The rooms were updated, clean and comfy.

The facility allows dogs. There was urine in the elevator which I stepped in by mistake. Unfortunately, I had to smell it in my car. Poop was smudged in the door way mat which I almost stepped in. However, I don't believe I stayed on a floor with pets. My room did not smell like dogs and I did not hear any barking.

We usually travel with our small dog and try to stay in TRU hotels when possible. They are conveniently located, pet friendly and the staff and stays are consistently top notch. Rooms are clean, good sized so that you're not stepping on each other and no carpet which is a plus.
