This is a small boutique hotel with an amazing location which was perfect for the beach, restaurants, shops and public transport. The rooms were more than adequate for my needs, they were immaculately clean and I had a balcony overlooking the beach. Breakfast offered a great choice of cereals, juices, fresh fruit, breads, pastries, hot and cold food. The pool area was well kept and sunloungers were very comfortable, however this area was barely used whilst I was there. The Sky Bar is very cool and a great addition to the hotel. The highlight for me were the reception staff, Katya and Paulo. They were so friendly, helpful, professional, kind and so lovely to talk to. A big thank you to both of them.

As the hotel is beach side and in the centre of town it is surrounded by numerous bars all playing loud music. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself but if you have a front facing room it is something to consider.

You couldn't find a better beach hotel to stay in the Algarve as a base for exploration. You can walk to the beach (1 minute) or to the restaurants in the center of town right outside the hotel front lobby. This location is very central to the region and easy to drive or hike to sites east and west of the town. Staff were very accommodating and facilities were in great shape. Breakfast spread was excellent. Highly recommend going in offseason as the beaches were almost completely empty.

Just note that the rooftop bar and pool are closed in the offseason. It would have been nice to enjoy the sunsets from the roof but there are plenty of spots right next door you can do that.

I can’t speak highly enough about the helpful and friendly staff, particularly those on reception. The location is excellent with many restaurants and bars as well as the beach in easy walking distance. And the gelateria on the ground floor is a definite plus.

If noise is an issue, request a room facing the courtyard as the downside of the easily accessible bars is that it can get quite loud at night. However, the reception staff were very good when we requested a room change. While the selection and quality of the breakfast was good, a little more variety from day to day would be nice for those staying longer than a night or two. Finally, the room furniture is dated and the rooms generally could use a bit of renovation.

This was one of my favourite hotel stays in recent years. From the second I arrived I loved the place. You get a very warm welcome from the reception team, and every staff member thereafter. Hotel is fresh, immaculately clean and modern. The location is wonderful, and the views are very special. There was secure parking for an additional €10. All the facilities are excellent. It’s fairly quiet at this time of the year, so I slept really well in their comfortable bed. The breakfast room is lovely, and the food and coffee was of excellent quality. I loved the place so much I extended my stay for a second night, and I didn’t regret it. The whole place is a credit to the management. It’s a well oiled machine with a great team. I can’t wait to return again.

The breakfast included was outstanding. The variety of food, quantity and quality were great. Unbelievable! The staff that attended the breakfast were very professional and attentive. The location was the best in the area. Right in the middle of everything to do and next to the beach. The front desk staff was also excellent for information and attention. The pool was nice and private and was easy to access. Our rooms were clean and had nice balconies to overlook the town. This is a smaller hotel, very well kept and they were able to give lots of attention for guests needs.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the centre of Carvoeiro and close to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. We had a room with a balcony and sea view which added to the experience. The bathroom had been refurbished and had a very good shower. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food and the opportunity to sit inside or outside in the inner courtyard. The pool area, although small, had plenty of good quality sunbeds and umbrellas for shade. The Sky Bar was also a pleasant place for an evening drink. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom would have benefitted from some hooks and shelves for storage. The music around the pool could be a little loud for my liking. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, it was quite expensive for a 3 star hotel, particularly the supplement for the sea view room.

Received a free upgrade to a better room! Daily housekeeping was nice. Location was excellent in the heart of town with the beach just steps away. If it’s in your budget, definitely book the rooms with the sea view balcony. It’s an incredible view! Breakfast was excellent and included in the stay! Large selection of eggs, cooked meat, deli meat, cheeses, veggies, selection of pastries, cereal, fresh squeezed OJ.

Bathroom shower glass is too shallow and the floor and bidet/toilet gets wet if you aren’t super careful. Not a big deal for us but the lock box didn’t have a lock.. we didn’t use it but could be a problem for other guests.

The location couldn't be any better. The Hotel is right next to the square and the beautiful Praia do Carvoeiro beach. There are numerous bars and restaurants right on your doorstep.

We booked a 'seaview room', however, upon check-in were told that it was a 'city view' room that had been booked. These rooms are right next to the busy road and only have a tiny balcony. We asked to change to a seaview room, but were told that there was only availibility for one night. This cost an additional 87 Euros! It also meant that we moved rooms twice during our 3 night stay!

Absolutely amazing. Me and my husband were so happy with the outstanding service. I forgot their names, sorry, but the girl on the reception made my trip so much better. She gave me local tips and places to go/hike that I hadn't seen online before. She helped me plan an intinerary as well as our time was quite short - thank you son much. I believe she was a blonde young girl. Blue eyes. I was also so happy with their breakfast. It was a simple one but both the chef ( a very nice Brazilian guy) and the men that stays there in the morning made absolutely sure that me and my husband ( vegans) were happy. On my first day I thought I wouldn't havea any food as I forgot to tell them beforehand, but they made something up. And on the second day, I just had to say my name and they Brought this separate vegan brekkie for me. And I must mention the cleaning lady as well since she was so nice to us everyday. I believe a young Indian lady. They have all set my expectations high and set the mood for the rest of my trip. Thank you a lot

Location is perfect, balconies facing the beach. Convenient parking. I liked blue azulejos here and there in otherwise very monochrome design. Room was clean. Towels, sheets were clean, no complaints. They have a wine list for room service so you can enjoy wine on your balcony. Too bad we discovered it late. Rooftop bar is huge and views are amazing. Breakfast: they served mini pastel de nata that was best ever! Better than in Belem or anywhere else. There were English language newspapers to enjoy. Large common sitting area.

Breakfast was just Ok. I thought room had cigarette smell but with open window it went away.
