Staff were very very friendly and nice! Bus driver as well! Surely the best part of my short experience. Great breakfast and very nice room ; both common areas and the bedroom were cozy and comfortable. Shuttle to the airport is good service (maybe for free ? Or to be included in some offers with the room? Just wondering)

just some small details about the cleaning in the bathroom and some worn out parts of the sink and shower ..but I only say this as hints for improving is not even a criticism, to me everything in the room worked great!

We needed a hotel close to the airport, as our flight was leaving early. Getting there was pretty easy, we took the train from London after a concert and we're happy that the shuttle buses were still going at night. It's about 8 minutes to the hotel, staff was super friendly and our room was fine. It was big enough for the two of us, we had enough space for our things and it was clean. Only thing I disliked was the carpet. All we needed was a hot shower and a couple hours of sleep and for that, the hotel was really good.

I personally don't like carpet floors, apart from that everything was fine.

The hotel was conveniently located for us to attend an event at Chelmsford Race Course - a mere 20 minute drive away. Having driven from the North East of England, it was a long drive, so we were grateful to relax and chill before heading out for the evening. Getting in and out of the car park as residents was easy enough to arrange by checking in with the front desk. All felt very clean, safe and secure.

If we had to really nitpick, and this is really nitpicking, it would have been great to have some more vegetarian alternatives (i.e. sausages) available on the hot breakfast buffet (as opposed to having to ask for them - but when they did arrive, they were really nice!). Also, there were no dairy/lactose free alternative spreads (i.e. margarine or plant butter) available to go with the toast and pastry selection. As I say, that’s really nitpicking. The breakfast buffet was overall really nice and the coffee was great.

The hotel is very clean and well equiped

The hotel wifi has an encryption or getaway route that will not be acceptable on a work laptop , so if you plan to work while staying here you may not be able to. I could not connect to the wifi from my laptop and since i was traveling for work this was a bit of an issue. Also i disliked the fact that if you don’t purchase breakfast you cannot have a coffee in the restaurant early morning, the reception told me : “there will be lots of coffee in the airport!” .There was, but i would have appreciated a coffee in my 20 min shuttle wait:)

Comfy Bed and liked that the room had a bath. Airport shuttle costs £4 each way and only goes every 30 mins, should be more info on this when booking, as i had to call to find out this when i reached airport. Had continental breakfast which i really enjoyed - happy they had coconut yogurt for people intolerant to dairy and soya. Would have been great if they had coconut milk also but only options were soya and oat which is no good for gluten intolerance.

Only thing i would say is the doors banging very loudly when people leave their rooms, if there was a way to prevent this would have been 10/10

The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and despite the hotel being very busy it was relatively quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent on check-in and likewise on check-out. The food in the restaurant in the evening was great as was the buffet breakfast and again, the staff were excellent. The shuttle bus drivers were also very friendly and courteous. An issue I raised about the towels was dealt with in a positive and professional way. Overall a very good stay and I would be happy to stay there again.

The proximity to the airport and ease to get there. Everything was efficiently run. The room was perfect, clean and fresh and quiet.

I think it was a shame that there wasn’t drinking water but I have a general issue with that, so maybe that’s my expectation in today’s society. Running drinking water seems a thing of the past. If you can’t manage that, then maybe complimentary bottled water, very simple but necessary. More necessary than tea and coffee. Not a criticism as such, just a suggestion to have made it the ultimate stay. Particularly with what you are paying! Literally it costs not even 10p.

Turning up the day before I flew by train - it was good to see that the hotel provided a shuttle bus to and from the airport. Good value of £4.00 each way - saved a long walk or an overpriced taxi. Hotel was busy and well staffed. Check-in was brisk and easy. Restaurant had choice and not too much to baffle you with too many options. Plenty of check backs and given time to actually to taste the food before stating "Is everything ok with your meal?"

Free wifi was literally non-existent in the room I stayed in - made it hard to sort my work before flying.

A short shuttle bus drive to hotel/airport. Friendly staff, nice hotel room- quiet and dark (good for 'light sleepers' like me!) Good shower, lots of towels and pillows, comfortable bed. I didn't have the breakfast - no time, but friendly barmaid told me where to get a cup of coffee/juice and fruit in the buffet room, which was perfect, as I only had ten minutes before bus left.

There was a slight rise in the floor just in front of bathroom entrance, it was a little unnerving, as if I was going to fall, a sticker on the carpet might be good, but that it just me.

This Hotel was really good value for money and ideal for me as i was travelling from Stansted airport. It was easy to access and the staff were really friendly upon arrival. Check in process was straight forward, no noise or disruptions during the night. Although i didn't eat in the restaurant, I had a beer or 2 in the bar and it was a nice atmosphere. All staff were friendly and i would definitely use this particular hotel again. Check out was super quick too, had to dash in the morning and minimal delays made my exit seamless.
