We stayed in the deluxe rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. They have basic utensils and the shared kitchen also had knives and stuff which came in very handy. I also really appreciated the washing machines in the property for a very reasonable 20 baht and the place to hang wet clothes. It's very convenient and budget friendly. I loved the boardgame closet, if you are visiting with family and have extra time you can play some nicely selected games. Also, if you are muslim, there is a mosque close by and there are a lot of delicious halal food places around the area.

They gave us one set of towels that we used till the end of our stay. We requested clean ones after a few days which they of course provided, but it would be nicer if we didn't have to ask for it. The bathroom was small but not unmanageable.

I have been to Bangkok for more than 7 occasions during the last 10 years and this is undoubtedly the best place that I stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even went out of the way to help us. Facilities were also extremely good with a large room space and was clean. The room service was excellent where every day they cleaned up the room. We stayed for 6 nights. Thanks a lot for your excellent hospitality. If I go to Bangkok again I would definitely stay there. This place is highly recommended for anyone.

The only issue is that the shopping centre is a bit far but as the bus service was excellent it wasn't an issue.

The ambiance in this place is the best. I really love the decorations, it almost feels like living in a villa. The room is clean, the bathroom is really clean. They have housekeeping. We stayed for 2 days, and we didn't know about housekeeping. We left the room a bit messy during the day, and came back with clean room. We felt embarrassed but happy at the same time. They allow us to leave our luggage for free!

The location. I wish it is a bit nearer to train station, this will be the most perfect place. Many times, we use Grab to go back to the place because we're tired. Nevertheless, the road to the place is really havoc and pack with human, so no worries even if you want to walk. There is a night market along the road, selling food (halal and non-halal)

1. I like the location. Near the hotel there are lots of small stores and stalls nearby that sell fruit and snacks. Two seven elevens nearby as well for toiletries,snacks etc. For more serious shopping, you could walk to the MBK shopping centre within 25mins (or around 27mins for Central world). For those who don't like the heat, you could book a Grab taxi for a short ride to the Siam shopping area (where you will find the MBK,Centralworld, and Siam Paragon shopping centres). There is also a BTS station (overground) which is about 11mins walk. 2. There are two washing machines on the ground floor which only cost 20 Baht to use (bargain!). Not sure if the hotel sells washing powder as I had my own. 3. They really helped me out when I lost the key to my suitcase on checkout day and was having a bit of a panic as the taxi was on its way to the hotel to pick me up to go to the airport. They managed to help me break the lock so I could rearrange my things to my hand luggage and not have to pay an excess baggage fee (I stuck everything in my suitcase in the morning and left it with the hotel on checkout so I could wander around for a few hours). 4. Nice and quiet in the hotel. 5. WiFi, air con, fridge and kettle in room. Also have hot water and filtered water on ground floor that you could help yourself to from the machine. 2 free bottles of water a day.

1. I had issues with insects in my room on my second night. They sprayed the room whilst I was out on the third day but I still found insects on the third night. However,they voluntarily offered to change rooms for me which I really appreciated. And the second room was fine. As they have been so good, I've only deducted one point in my score (would normally deduct way more). If it wasn't for the insects I would have given them full marks as they are so friendly and the place has everything I needed so was a good bargain given the price I paid. Maybe I got unlucky with the first room.

Enjoyed my stay here!! Great value for the price, much cheaper compared to other hostels and hotels for what you get. Bed felt like a king-size even though the listing said queen size. Staff was nice and helpful. Common area had a lot of games, a swing, books--great for family with children. Area was quiet and had a 'local' feel, near restaurants. It does feel like a peaceful oasis though it's in a centralized location in Bangkok.

Hostel was 15min walk to BTS Phaya Station, but for the price, use that to get a Grab to the station. You can also walk to a bus stop in 5 min, easy to get to the malls.

-This property seems like a hotel in quality with a homestay vibes. We stayed on the second floor and the vibes is so homey. Check in was quick. -Price wise. -Room has been cleaned daily. Shampoo and shower gel provided. AC worked well. Smart TV available to use. Towels changed daily. Room lightings gives a hotel vibes. -Dining area is a good place for guests to chill, guests can take foods from outside and use the kitchen utensils. You must wash and return them. -Location is quite hard to locate at first. From Phaya Thai BTS better pass through Phayathai Plaza bldg and it shall lead you to a small local market. Would be easier of you come by Grab or car since you will dropped right infront the property.

-I was bothered by mosquitoe bites.

Everything was great. The only thing for solo travellers is that it's not a very social place; everyone has their own rooms and tends to do their own thing, but I was specifically looking for a place to relax so I didn't mind

Loved the location though it's confusing at first but navigated our way thru it the next day, also near/accesible train stations. There are a lot of food stalls nearby. Homey vibes. Clean and very pleasant. 24 hrs reception. We will definitely book here the next time

Floor is wooden so you have to be very careful about accidentally dropping things on the floor because you might disturb people down stairs. Not sure tho if it can be heard. Shower in our room has a little leak when turned on but went fine. Nothing major cons.

I stayed in Greenery hostel twice while visiting Thailand. The staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well equipped and there was fresh water and towels provided daily. The front yard was a treat, as it was atmospheric and relaxing after long days of sightseeing. The location was quite good, with market nearby, a 7-11 and very easy access to public transport, despite it not being particularly central. I would definitely visit again, highly recommend!

I have been to Greenery many times. They used to have little bits for breakfast, unfortunately this is no longer available. The beds are very comfortable and it is in a quiet street, yet near lots of food stalls. Walking distance to the BTS. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

It was a bit inconvenient that I had to re-enter WiFi codes every time I came back to the hostel. But that did not dampen my enjoyment of the place. They even lend me an umbrella🙂
