I have stayed at all the local hotels in the main Tlaxcala area and this one is my favorite. It's certainly one of the best. It's certainly one of the quietest. It is not too far from the main square/ plaza of Tlaxcala. It has the best WiFi of all the local hotels. It's a small hotel. The staff is excellent. The rooftop terraza is amazing. I have stayed here at least 3 times. I'll be making use of this hotel in the future.
The property is animal friendly which is fine. The dogs sometimes get a little loud and wild, but it's not a major concern. It's next door to the State Police which is also fine (Feel a little more protected) - however you might hear their exercises, songs, and calestenics shouting in the morning (It's not every day)

The location! Just a few blocks from the center of Tlaxcala with restaurants and the park. The appearance and ambiance...quiet, clean, colonial decor. The room staff were very friendly and attentive. Very good WiFi too.
No restaurant on the premises. It would have been really nice to have coffee and pastry service in the morning before having to go out look for breakfast! The hot water in the shower was iffy...if you sleep in late there is very little hot water...this happened twice to me.

Great hotel. Daily room cleaning. 7 min walk to Zocolo, cafes and some museums. Very nice en-suite room with bathroom. Gorgeous gardens. All at a v reasonable rate. If this hotel is available, grab it!!!

The location is good. It's only about 2-3 blocks from the central square. The rooms are very nice. The rooftop veranda is excellent for lounging and even smoking. The service and cleanliness was excellent. The price was a real bargain. I found this hotel to be better than the now defunct centrally located hotel in the main plaza of Tlaxcala. I will definitely go back to this hotel. The WiFi service was great. We were able to stream major league baseball games from the veranda.
There wasn't always hot water. Once we told the staff, they worked on it right away. This happened more than once. The TV only has one channel and we couldn't plug our laptop into the box with an hdmi so we streamed shows through WiFi.

Great location for near historic center with few western style restaurants and a local market nearby, all short distance away. Very clean & comfortable bed.
Near police station so literally cops and cop cars are swarming every minute.

Nothing fancy but good location. A short walk to center. Nice staff. Parking. King room was huge. Great value.
Noise from street made it a little hard to sleep. Bathroom had a bit of a bad smell.

Bare bone amenities (no coffee offered), hot running water limited to a schedule… last day of stay no water available… not good.
