The hotel is finished to an incredibly high standard. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated. It is perfectly located, in the shadow of the castle of the Dukes of Savoy. The cocktails and food in the hotel bar where excellent but that was just a taste of what was to come from the restaurant. Four of us had the 5 course taster menu, to much indecision over the a la carte menu! The whole menu was beautifully cooked, presented and served by friendly, engaging staff. While it seems unfair to single any of the courses, a special mention must go to the fish course and the dessert. Everything about the fish course was lovely, the flavours complemented each other beautifully and the cooking of the fish was excellent. As for the dessert it was simply a work of art, oh and delicious.

Beautiful room, great breakfast, very helpful owner and staff. They organised a taxi and booked dinner for us and made us feel very much at home.

Leaving !!!!!!!!!!!!! it is always a sad time the hosts Charlotte and Jerome are so warm and sincere and genuine the attention to detail in every area we have been staying there for 15 years and every it just gets better and better

We were cared for exceptionally well from the moment we walked in. The management are professional and pay attention to small details. The building is gorgeously maintained (I believe they said it was from the 13th century) and the room was modern and had all the necessities plus extra. We enjoyed the fact that the steam room/pool was reserved privately for all guests which was a surprise and made our stay very special. The restaurant was one of the best dinners we have had.

Very well equipped hotel. The spa was especially relaxing as you get to book your own hour slot. Room was comfortable and spacious with very little noise. Staff were also attentive and very willing to help.

Parking situation was a little confusing as you have to drive through a pedestrianised street. We also has a slight issue with the shower which overflowed into the bathroom.

Wow don't hesitate to book this hotel I've stayed in some of the finest hotels worldwide paying up to £5k a night in my travels and I personally rate this now as one of the finest I've stayed in I didn't want to leave

Lovely boutique hotel in the old town. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and bar is relaxed, welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is top quality food and excellent service however it is quite expensive

I have stayed in quite a substantial amount of 5 stars hotels over the world and "Le Petit Hotel Confidentiel" truly competes with some of the best ones in Amsterdam, Tokyo or Shanghai! It has got a feel of soulful minimalism in a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The gym/yoga space on the top floor with direct view onto the castle is brilliant. The team is incredibly nice and welcoming. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. This is definitely a unique little gem in Chambéry!
