Pool area was lovely and room very nice with good air conditioning. Staff were lovely and very helpful especially Ravi David, Zaky, Srithar and Nimasha.

Town isn’t walkable - you’ll need a tuk tuk

Fantastic staff, incredibly friendly and helpful, especially housekeeping. Great location close to the elephant safari, village tour (we were dubious about this but it was actually very good) Sigiriya and the other must see sights. The rooms were large with lots of drinking water provided. The pool guy was friendly setting out loungers and pool towels for you as soon as he saw you coming. The pool jets were fun and an added bonus. The beds were incredibly comfy and huge, much better than the Cinnamon Hotel I'm at now!

The safe was operated by a key, it would have been better if you could have used a code. The room lights were hard to understand.

The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help us and our children. We loved the pool, the lush gardens, the swings, the gym and the family room was excellent. Egg station and breakfast was very good. Waffles and french toast very nice too. Dinner had good mix of curry and western options - bread and lasagne were very good too. Kids enjoyed the fish tanks and the chipmunks and wildlife in the gardens. Stayed 2 nights (nearby elephant safari, Sigiria and cultural exploring) but a 3rd night to chill at the hotel would have been perfect.

The bed was a little hard but that's personal taste.

It is a great resort in the middle of the nature. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is great and the full experience of the facilities is relaxing and comfortable. Very good for families with kids that wants yo relax while enjoying the activities around Habarana

The breakfast was not good, it is a buffet with enough options but everything was just not very tasty. Even a descent coffee was hard to find. The staff is very nice but a bit too pushy for us, we prefer to be left alone in our vacation rather then being flooded with help efforts.

The hotel is set in very nice gardens, with lots of nature on show including butterflies and birds. It is a quiet area, although not far from major tourist attractions. The family room, with two bedrooms, was great for us. The staff were all excellent - very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is reasonably large, it never felt busy. Breakfast was good.

Choice at the dinner buffet was a bit limited - we would have liked more Sri Lankan food and more vegetarian options. It was possible to order some drinks but a shame the bar was not open for more varied choices.

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and huge [pool - the best pool in the whole of our trip! The staff were very considerate and friendly, without being pushy. The guys on reception helped us get a good price for tuk tusk and taxis for our various trips. great restaurant and buffet, and a variety of drinks on offer. The hotel is in the middle of farming countryside which means lots of lovely birds and local life - a bonus.

The rooms are a bit tired and could do with painting and removal of some old furniture - maybe this is work in progress. We noticed the sun chairs and the pool area was being upgraded.

What a beautiful place to stay. The rooms and facilities are excellent but the main thing that sets this place apart from anywhere we’ve stayed before are the staff. Every single staff member, from the pool guy, to the cleaners, to the restaurant staff, to the reception staff, to the chairman and even the local tuktuk drivers they call for you - they are all gracious, warm, welcoming, friendly and go above and beyond to cater to your every need. One of the staff members even offered to help us with some of our luggage to our next destination…which is a 2 hour drive away…on his day off! They cooked delicious meals for us that weren’t even on the menu and did it to the highest standard possible. If you are heading to Sigiriya, you absolutely MUST stay at the Sungreen Resort. We absolutely loved our time here and it was all thanks to the amazing staff. Thank you again to everyone at Sungreen Resort.

1.The hospitality was superb. All the staff were not only extremely polite but also genuinely happy to look after us. The care they gave us made us feel like royalty. I would especially like to mention Ms. Upekha, Mr. Brian and Mr. Adrian for their impeccable hospitality. 2. The grounds were well kept the lawns well manicured and we could see trees laden with fruit. 3.The pool was huge and great for swimming and sunbathing. 4.The rooms were comfortable with a decent view. All in all it was a great stay and I shall be recommending this place to all of my folks.

Hmmm, nothing much was there to dislike. Of course do remember that you are in the middle of a jungle, so keep your doors closed to avoid insects.

Beautiful resort with extremely peaceful environment. Perfect for families to relax and enjoy! They have a wonderful pool which our 3 kids really enjoyed after returning from an early morning trek to Sigiriya Lion Rock. They upgraded our room for free and entire staff was smiling and super helpful. I even received a 15% discount on carbonated beverages on check out. The fish aquariums were stunning sight upon entry! All good things to say about the whole experience!

Beautiful relaxing resort with immaculately maintained large garden. Had an unexpected great reception on arrival!! Reception staff were very helpful. Excellent buffet (we took breakfast and dinner) with good variety and live music. Friendly and helpful restaurant staff. Beautiful well maintained swimming pool. Room services were top notched. Overall, we had a great relaxing weekend!

There wasn't a bin in the toilet, but,immediately provided one upon request.But this didn't cause any inconvenience, to be honest.
