This is an older hotel, but the room was really clean, bed was super comfortable and it had everything we needed for a few nights stay, including complimentary snacks and water in our room (and a good size fridge). The staff was really friendly and accommodated us leaving a day early before a blizzard hit. Breakfast was pretty standard breakfast bar offerings but it was well stocked all morning with attentive staff. There's free popcorn and coffee 24/7 and this is in a great location right off the highway (but the room was very quiet). I'll definitely be staying here again on my travels.

This is an exceptional property located right off the highway in North Platte. I have stayed there 2x in the last 3 months and each time was so very happy I did. The service is exceptional and every person who works on the property goes above and beyond to have made me and others that I was around feel welcome and special. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is clear that while the property is older they are putting money into cleanliness and comfort. I really feel safe there and the breakfast in the morning is simply a notch above other such ones that are included for a place to stay of even higher cost. Of course who doesn't love fresh popcorn available 24/7 right at the front desk area. Again, the care taken to make sure things are really clean is evident and this is by far the nicest place I have stayed on the 80. I will make sure it is my go to in the future as I travel this route at times and will tell anyone I can think will listen that a hotel at 2x the price would not meet the care and good vibe here. Clean, quiet, spacious room, friendly staff

The motel offered several perks I have not seen at other motels. Complementary snacks and bottled water were in the room, fresh watermelon, fresh bakery donuts and softened butter to put on your toast and waffles were available for breakfast. There was a large variety of choices for breakfast. The breakfast room was very spacious with a lot of seating including booths. Popcorn was available in the lobby at all times. The room was spacious, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable. Very affordable room rates.

Even though coffee was availability at all times in the breakfast room my husband claims it was too weak. There was no coffee maker in the room so the only option he had was that coffee which he didn't like. It's an old building and the rooms are accessed from the outside, no indoor way to get to the public areas, which is inconvenient during inclement weather.

This is an older motel, but they really went out of their way to make it great by adding little extras! There was a chair in our room which was super comfortable and very much appreciated!!! It is so nice to have a room with a desk chair and an additional comfy chair so that you don't have to sit on the bed to watch TV. They also provided a basket with goodies in it...bottled water, candy, etc. It was just a little extra touch that went a long way in making us feel welcome!!! They also fulfilled our request for a ground floor room which was much appreciated!!! The motel was easy to find; we spotted it while still on the interstate. It was just right off the road which made continuing our trip the next day very easy!

Clean and well kept, beautiful flowers, easy and assessable parking. Nice breakfast waffles, cereal, donuts, yogurt, bread, peanut butter etc… very nice and large dining area, very clean. Staff and owners very friendly and helpful. Close to Fort Cody and a diner next door. Very pleasant stop.

Pet friendly???? They did charge extra (20$) but there is not a pet relief area on property as pets not allowed on their grass. Pets need to go next door at the other hotel to the west or the RV to the east where there is a nice dog park or to the grassy area by the main road (not a busy road) The carpet was wet, we out a towel over the wet area and it quickly soaked through so we added a towel on top of that one.

Location is pretty convenient, liked the room. The building we stayed in used to have an upper floor, whose doors are still there but which you cannot access because there's no longer a second floor on the outside (i.e., the upstairs platform in front of the rooms is gone). This makes the building look somewhat dilapidated on the outside but gives it a weird sort of charm, also considering the room on the inside are 100% fine. The place is also great value for money (my main reason to round up to a 9/10), and the breakfast was very decent.

You had to push or pull the door shut really tight for the lock to actually click into place, and they didn't seem all that interested when we pointed this out; it's something that I think you should kind of notify guests of just to be sure. Also had to get a battery inside the door exchanged for the keycard to work again, but that was no big deal.

The people at the front desk were very nice and check in and out went very fast. This hotel definitely gets a 10 for hospitality. There are hot drinks and popcorn 24/7 and there was bottled water and snacks in the room. The room was clean but could use some renovation. For example, there were holes in the curtain on the window. The fridge in the room was great! One of the nicest we saw in the hotels on this trip. Breakfast was beautiful with a nice variety of food. The dining room was spacious and clean.

Unfortunately we had a cricket in our room which we were unable to locate so we did not get much sleep.

Price is very good for a room this good. Very clean. Even the carpet was clean, not sticky. Comfortable beds and lots of pillows. Larger than average mini-fridge, with an actual freezer. Two chairs. Breakfast selections are better than average. Little extras like complimentary water and snacks in the room, and hot drinks and popcorn at the office. We've stayed several times here before and will come again.

No elevator. Old building, old styling, but inside the rooms is updated and totally fine. No exhaust fan in bathroom. The A/C is not as easy to figure out as most motels, but they do have instructions by the thermostat and it worked fine for us.

The breakfast offered a lot of choices - fruits, sweet rolls, toast, waffles, yogurts, and too much more to mention. Breakfast is fully set up by 6 am but they accommodated us to get coffee and some of the food by 5 am. The bedding was very soft and comfortable, the mattress was also comfortable. Our king room was spacious and even had a loveseat - nice for watching TV.

This isn't a complaint, just an observation. The bathroom was a little dated but the shower had good water pressure and hot water.
