The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, with beautiful nature and wild animals nearby. It’s a peaceful and unique location, perfect for nature lovers. The room comes with a private bathroom & kitchen, which is a plus.

Bad Wifi. The fridge only works when you're in the room, which isn’t practical. Additionally, the swimming pool was dirty during my stay and needs maintenance.

Excellent location in the Midlands. Beautiful scenery. Suites spacious and comfortable, very clean and all with log burner, dstv, en suite bathrooms etc. Pub onsite good, serving good food (pizzas, ribs, burgers etc) and drinks.

Gas for geyser ran out on first evening and we were left with no hot water for showers or baths. Facilities fixed it first thing next day but was a bit disappointing not to be able to make use of the corner bath for a relaxing nighttime bath.

We stayed for 3 nights at the family suite, family of four. The scenery was good and picturesque. Good view of the dams on the property. Enjoyed the wildebeest, zebras, springboks that was on the property. Well maintained property with maintenance staff who was "on the ball"...very impressed...mowing the lawns, trimming the hedges, etc. The suite was cleaned every day. No problems with cleanliness. We did have a problem of not having hot water on the first day but staff came out promptly to resolve the problem. Had no further problems thereafter with hot water supply. Well done to staff who helped to resolve! My child had a bit of a fall and staff was helpful in getting some medical supplies to deal with the scraps. The pool on the property looked very inviting. The rooms where great. Bathrooms excellent. Toilets excellent. The little kitchenette was functional. The BOMA supplies great food at St Ives....we enjoyed it.

The mosquitoes and flys had us irritated but we got some mosquitoe plug in liquid repellent, which helped alot. Thank you for spray can of Doom, which we put to use.

The accommodation was lovely, we stayed in the family suite which had 2 bedrooms and each room had an ensuite. The rooms had aircons but the lounge area did not. It did have a fireplace which we made good use off. Facilities were ample for a family. The animals were definitely a beautiful sight.

Water takes very long to get hot and when it does it's not as hot as you would like. Although fireplace is in the lounge would have been nice to have an aircon as it gets very cold during winter. There is no Breakfast on offer.

Very comfortable and safe. We were visiting family at the Ambers, and this was the perfect location, which was well equipped and had a number of animals roaming the grounds. It had a mini kitchen in the family rooms, with a fridge, microwave and utensils, comfortable beds, and spacious bathrooms. We didn't have breakfast or dinner there but Piggly Wiggly is just across the road.

the location was beautiful. we occasionally caught sight of Zebra, buck and wildebeest which made it that much more exciting.

we loved the stay. we found it comfortable, clean and very convenient. However, some of the cleaning staff were particularly rude to us and seemed to be on the intolerant side. We aren’t an untidy bunch, and pay importance to cleanliness and hygiene as it’s a huge part of our religious upbringing. We can’t seem to understand why we were being treated rudely by some of the cleaning staff where we were given funny looks and were asked to move out of our rooms entirely and stand outside while they clean even though we did make sure we were not in their way and allowed them to do their tasks. on Saturday, our bedrooms and bathrooms were not cleaned either. With that being said, David was an absolute star and made every effort to ensure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable!

Beautiful Luxury Suite with stunning settings . I love the farm feel and of course the presence of the wildlife and the dam setting.

Not much not to like. Just a suggestion. You have a beautiful kitchen setup in the luxury suites, which could benefit from a few more utensils, extra glasses, dishes, and possibly an air fryer.

Location was beautiful. Great views and wildlife (zebra, buffalo and various buck) to view from the veranda. Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable (and big) and both bedrooms were on suite. Overall it was a good experience.

Living room couches could be more comfortable.

It was very central and a very nice pretty setting surrounded by wildlife. Too beautiful for words !

The cutlery in the room wasn't 100 percent clean but we just rewashed it. The aircon wasn't working but the staff brought a fan and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine.

St Ives is our FAVOURITE midlands getaway! We try go every 6 weeks. My son is fishing crazy and sits fishing the whole weekend from morning to night. I can sit and enjoy the view while the kids are entertained. David and the staff are EXCEPTIONAL! We come back time and time again as their service is truly above all the rest!

There is nothing not to like.
