The bed was really comfortable and everything was spotless clean. Breakfast was also very good

It's not really something bad, but the restaurant and beach area are a couple of walking minutes away. It is ok, but it would be nice to know before. Even though the windows have mosquito nets, it would be great to also have nets on the beds, just in case (like it happened to me), some noisy mosquitoes make their way into your bedroom

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall conditions were excellent. The hosts, a lovely young couple, were very pleasant and attentive. There's a charming little dog living on the premises, which added to the homely atmosphere. Everything was clean, with impeccable housekeeping, and the security was top-notch. ---

Roberta the hotel manager was amazing. she is super nice and we had great conversations with her. the two dogs at the property were the cutest little creatures. very nice garden to chill and relax away from the very busy beach. it is a little oasis. rooms are very new, beautifully designed and the AC and internet are working great. the rooms are a short walk to the restaurant and the beach. the restaurant is beautiful and there are several sun beds to chill. overall the staff was very friendly.

The room and everything was as depicted and very nice. The owners were very friendly and accomodating with whatever request we had. And also the brekfast was satiable and tasty.

The place is some 3 minutes walk away from the beach, but that was noted before we arrived.

Excellent disposition and super welcoming attitude from everyone in the La Base team. Big thanks to all! The rooms are basic (it’s a B&B!) but spotless, bright, and comfortable. The property feels like home away from home. There are several friendly dogs/ cats. The beachfront section is great, often the liveliest in the surroundings. The food is consistently good (the tuna tataki is delicious!) and fairly priced vs the area. There’s plenty of space to sit and/or relax. The kite lessons were great and the instructors do a great job. Thanks La Base team! Look forward to coming back

We liked everything. That said, some remarks: - As other reviews mention, the rooms are not beachfront but rather a 2 min walk from La Base’s beach area. Totally fine for us - The street to the rooms can be dark sometimes. However we felt perfectly safe and there’s was a watchman at the property - Outside of La Base’s control, but the power went out sometimes and also the internet slowed down at times (presumably when too many people were accessing the Internet at the same time)

Clean, big room with a big double bed. You can have rest easily. The pool was nice also. Nice design. We had daily nice breakfast included at their restaurant. The owners are nice, they can arrange nice trips and excursions. Definitely recommend, value for the money and felt like home.

Roberta was such a warm & friendly host. The property is stunning, the rooms are stunning & the service is exceptional! I was so glad to have come across this hidden gem! BOOK this place guys! I can’t emphasize this enough!

Loved everything about this place. The owner Maria is an excellent host & we will definitely be back. The vibe in the restaurant on the beach is awesome.

Low tide hence no morning swimming in the ocean. This is however the same everywhere on the island.

The room and the compound were clean, quite and nice garden view. The room was also spacious with ample space for your stuff. The staff were polite and helpful. The beach front restaurant has a nice view that offered variety of activities, people were friendly and the restaurant staff attends to the guest's needs happily esp Siyad and the girls during breakfast. Grazie too to Maria!

The restaurant was separate from the rooms where guests stay, hence you need to walk down to the beach and back every time. Would also help if there is a water kettle for tea or coffee in the rooms, and a shower caddy for toiletries.

We had a wonderful stay at Labase. The host, Maria, was very, very nice and helpful. The food at Labase restaurant is also amazing and the kite spot staff is great. We would totally come back and we recommend this property. Excellent value for money!
