We stayed here for a week with a group of 28 basketball boys attending a camp at Duke, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout. Breakfast was great every day – a perfect way to start our packed schedule. Special shout-out to Mimi and Pricilla for their outstanding care and kindness. Pricilla, in particular, showed endless patience with the boys (ages 13–14). My family and I were there accompanying our son, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Everything ran smoothly, and the hospitality truly stood out. It's the little touches that made the experience extra special – from the board games set out in the lobby during the evenings, to the fresh cookies in the afternoon, the guest-use grills, and the fun outdoor games in the patio area. Thank you for everything!

The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating, always going the extra mile to meet our needs with warmth and friendliness. The room was quiet, spacious, and spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was more than adequate, offering a wide range of delicious options to start the day. The location was exceptional, providing easy access to everything we wanted to explore. Additionally, requesting a crib for my baby was a seamless process, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

There was absolutely nothing I disliked about the property; I genuinely can't think of a single thing that could have been improved.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Clean, a great breakfast, a huge lobby to eat breakfast in. The room was very clean on my arrival, had a comfortable bed, great shower, easy to use window shades that did a good job of blocking light. All in all, the room was just fine.

The location was the main issue. It was in a part of town that made getting around without a rental car difficult. So if you are coming from the airport consider alternatives. Uber to and from Duke will cost about $12+ per ride (as of March 2025). Uber to the airport is $40 - $60 (as of March 2025). Apart from that, the only food within walking distance were fast food chains, so really not great in that department. A decent restaurant open past 10 p.m. nearby would be a huge asset to this hotel.

The room was very clean and neat. I am a clean freak and the staff did an exceptional job cleaning it. Blankets clean. Sheet clean.Mirrors clean w/o streaks. Hallway very clean. I was very please with my room and stay. Kudos to the staff. The gentleman that checked me in was very pleasant and gave me water with my key. The woman who checked me out was pleasant too. The lobby was very clean and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was just ok. Would be nicer if the sausage was cooked on a griddle or stove top. It was not bad, but it would taste better if cooked differently. I only had 2 sausage and 1 omelet so I cannot comment on other food.

Location, amenities, and cleanliness. Did not get a chance to use the pool or workout facilities, but will next time. They looked better than my my community's facility. Great location as my wife had a medical procedure at Duke Eye Center.

The only issue that I had was our room faced I-85, and l could hear the traffic. The next time, l will ask for a room on the opposite side. It was no issue for my wife. l am a light sleeper. 🫩

I enjoyed my stay at this Hampton Inn very much. First of all, it is a brand new hotel, and everything is sparkling clean. I appreciated that cleaning wipes are provided for free by the elevators, as an extra touch. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, with everything the modern traveler could need.

I would have appreciated it if tissues and more towels were provided in the room, and that housekeeping was automatically provided each day during my stay (the hotel only provided it every-other day, as an understandable cost-saving measure). The hotel is also not really within walking distance of anything--a car is a necessity in Durham. But these are all minor critiques--I would not hesitate to book here again.

Well maintained and professional, helpful staff. The breakfast was tasty, first rate. Hats off to the cooks and other kitchen staff. I enjoyed my say.

Unless you're leaving the hotel via I-85, entrance back onto Hillsborough Road is a safety challenge. A better traffic plan needs to be developed.

Overall value was exceptional. The staff were helpful with s smile. MARY TORRES of thr breakfast staff was exceptional. She turned our question into action with a genuine smile. She gets it!!!!!. Best Trainor you could find.

Have stayed at Hilton properties across the country for 30 yrs. Never had such a poor breakfast. If you didn't make a waffle and drink the juice we wasted our time.

Bacon was a joke, potatoes were just white warm cubes, and omelet was just cheese.

Rooms are always very clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is good.

One side faces the Interstate. You have to make sure you ask for a room that does not face the Interstate or you will be kept awake by trucks on the highway all night long.
