Very beautiful building in a good location in the city center of Ljubljana with lovely fancy interior. Room a/c wasnt working when we arrived and we got a very nice free upgrade to a lovely room right away.

Breakfast was a bit of a let down for us. Food wasnt filled on time which caused things to be empty. Also everything in the warm holders which made it less fresh then it should be in a 5-star hotel. Also the juices werent fresh but processed ones which isnt the quality you d expect.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Congress Centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure a perfect stay. From the elegant design to the exceptional amenities, everything exceeded my expectations. One highlight of my stay was the fabulous coffee—truly some of the best I've had. The overall ambiance of the hotel is both luxurious and welcoming, making it an ideal place to relax or get work done. The staff were attentive and professional, contributing to the overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Congress Centre to anyone visiting Ljubljana. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

The hotel is very popular with locals and travelers. The weekend (Aug 16-18) was fully booked and the staff were still on top of everything. Breakfast was nice, there was a good spread, and plenty of seating available. The room was spacious and clean. The walls were thick and soundproofed. It was nice to not hear people in the hallway, nor next door. The location of the hotel was convenient. Lads of places to eat in the area and the "old town" was just a 10 minute walk down the road. The ARE pet friendly, and the dogs were allowed at breakfast, as long as they were well behaved.

Nothing. Overall, the staff and the facilities were as advertised. I am sure I will stay there again on my next visit. I would recommend this hotel to families and single travelers.

I recently stayed at the Grand Plaza Hotel & Congress Center in Ljubljana, and it was an exceptional experience. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the city center and major attractions. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of the city. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of options catering to all dietary preferences, including vegan and gluten-free. The amenities, especially the fitness center and conference facilities, were top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. Looking forward to staying here again!

The large windows allowed for plenty of natural light, and the view was simply stunning, making it the perfect retreat after a long day. One of the best perks was the complimentary car parking, which made my stay hassle-free, especially given the convenience of its location. This level of service, combined with the staff’s warm and attentive care, truly made my stay extraordinary. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service!

Nothing at all

Hotel was very luxurious and modern. Our bedroom was spacious, spotlessly clean, very large and comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We had great views from the16th floor. Loads of lovely choices for breakfast. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel is brilliantly located close to rail station and bus station and just a short walk into Ljubljana old town.

Couldn’t get just radio on bedroom tv. It’s just a small thing in an otherwise wonderful hotel.A Bluetooth speaker in the room would be a great addition.

Fantastic hotel. A very short walk to the train station: as we were travelling by train this was particularly important to us. The hotel is immaculately presented with wonderful staff. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome. They kindly upgraded us as we were hoping for a twin room, which they accommodated with the upgrade. Our room on the 20th floor had superb views over the city centre. The room was very spacious with extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast was superb. The hotel is within very close proximity to the historical town centre with an easy flat 10 minute walk. We loved Ljubljana and we loved the hotel and its staff. Without doubt we would stay here again. Thankyou!

Minor: the bath is very slippery - with the angled sides of the bath this felt a little unsafe during showering. A handle would be useful to aid getting out of the bath. No hooks in the bathroom - much needed for towels, dressing gowns.

The hotel has a really calm atmosphere and smells lovely as you walk in. The finishes and decor have a nice sleek and luxurious feel. There is easy-access, secure underground parking that is included in the price of your room/ free. The bedrooms are incredibly quiet and the beds incredibly comfy. We slept really well here. Everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet was very generous and varied - they have everything you could imagine and the quality was nice. Although the hotel isn't in the 'prettiest' old town area, it's an easy 10-minute walk away and the area feels safe.

I can't think of any fault.

Clean room, near bus station with great beds and views of the city. amazing breakfast. Price for how nice the hotel is is worth it. I'm a light sleeper and was next to the elevators and heard no noise so very quiet. Despite the negatives I listed below I would definitely stay here again because the staff worked to resolve the issues.

AC is not great in the rooms but when I called they were able to move me to a room that it was better. Make sure to recommend a room that is cooler if this is a big concern because it doesn't seem like the temperature you set the room had anything to do with coolness. Did appreciate them working to get me in a cooler one but still would have loved to turn it down a bit more. Room service got my order wrong twice and was very expensive
