The excellent choice we made. The best I would say was the staff. Everyone is so professional; people here know how to do their work. Sometimes, when you stay in these more prominent branded hotels, the staff acts confused; this hotel was the case here. I loved every communication I had in the hotel. Genuine welcome, a genuine smile makes one feel cosy and warm. Breakfast included a few extra vegan products, like ajvar or humus; I know the buffet was probably based on supply and demand, but there were few of us there. Also, plant milk was available, but one needs to ask; again, no problem at all, but if you do not ask, you do not know whether it is available. The swimming pool and mineral salts in the swimming pool were excellent. I did not plan this, but it healed my inflamed joint and carpal tunnel. Thanks for this. :) And location, I mean, not much to say except that we made an excellent choice and cannot wait to return. We liked it so much that we also invited my parents to join us over the weekend. They loved it, too, and they are already planning when to come again. Cafe Central is also great.

The only point, Maurish's sauna did not work. Two other saunas did not work. So, all together, three saunas did not work, and we paid for a sauna package. Finish sauna, as usual, is the best; it worked :) Let's hope all the saunas work well now, as we will be coming again. :)

Hotel is part of several hotels located in Portorož and part of LifeClass. All hotels and facilities are well connected with hot tunnels. As guests of hotel Neptun we had access to two pool and spa areas in hotels Portorož and Slovenija but all guests have access to it without difference. Both pool and spa facilities are well kept, clean, with several pools with various facilities, rescue always present on pool. Staff in hotel is very nice, polite, helpful but not being annoying or bothersome. Someone might argue that selection of the dinner food could be better but actually it is quite enough to have more than decent meal. Each day fish and meat with several side dishes, pasta, soups, etc. We would recommend the hotel and for sure consider visiting again.

Staff tends to start closure of breakfast/dinner before actual end of breakfast/dinner end time. For breakfast you can sit on any free table but for dinner you have your table as given by the staff. Though it maybe makes their work easier we were almost alone sitting at far end of restaurant with many completely empty tables close to window overlooking Portoroz promenada.

Hotel room was a lovely size, very clean and cleaners very friendly. Balcony was a nice touch too. Breakfast was always great, nice selection, particularly loved the fresh omelettes. Reception staff friendly and main areas clean. We've stayed before and will stay again, the spa treatments are brilliant. Particularly the Thai ones.

Lobby toilets weren't clean, very smelly Some attitude from spa staff at times when asking for assistance. We asked for a tour and were told this couldn't be provided, asked for a printed price list and again this couldn't be provided. We were told sauna park opened at 4pm but weren't told we'd need both room keys for it and were made to feel silly for not knowing. A lot better explanations and maps etc needed for the spa.

• Great Location Walk to the beach is short and doesn’t cause any discomfort. Also, there are a lot of restaurants/bars around. • Room service Great service and if you order something the service itself to the room is not that expensive. • Friendly staff • Good breakfast

• Parking far away I do understand that they were fully booked but parking was a 5-7 minute drive from a hotel, though they did provide a so to say transfer to it for free, not something terrible, but something we didn’t like a lot • Wi-Fi isn’t the greatest Can be hard sometimes to watch something before going to sleep

The room was very spacious, we appreciated the entrance with a lot of space for coats, shoes, empty luggage etc. The bed was king-size and comfortable. Excellent food, great location - we got everywhere we wanted on foot.

Parking is close however we had some trouble finding the entrance based on instructions from the receptionist. We would have appreciated a boiling kettle and one more heating unit or clotheshorse to be able to dry wet towels/bathrobes.

Very clean, great location, very big rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.

You have to pay for every drink at dinner, you cant even get a glass of water for free for the price of 22€ per person. You need to pay for parking 12€ a day, disabled persons also. The water in the swimming pool is warm, you cant cool down. The hotel has only one elevator and very confusing organisation

Lack of info provided by the staff in reception on arrival. Not easy to find the entrance to the hotel. Map of the whole complex required as the hotel is part of a group of six on the same site. No tea/coffee making facilities and not many bars/cafes on site.

-The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. - We were on the 4th floor. The view was fabulous. - In the restaurant they have a wide selection of foods and the waiters were nice to us.

- Wifi connection was terrible. I rarely could connect and in a short time I 've always lost connection.

Location, the views from the balcony, good breakfast, the access to swimming pools and wellness center.

In the beginning ìt was confusing to find my way around the different hotels through corridors, stairs, and elevators. For example, to find the different pools. But it wasn't too bad

Breakfast was nice. You could decide where to sit, at the dinner you have to sit at the same place every day. Food was tasty, drinks you have to pay-expensive. Room was nice and the man at the parking place was very very friendly.

Dont like the way waiters have to take the plate or cup the second you empty it. The lady at check was not realy friendly. You dont get any brosures or map how to get to two different pools, restaurant etc… was very confusing to figure everything out.
