- good location - extremly nice and polite staff (all of them) at the reception desk - great breakfast in a very pleasent room, a person who took care for breakfast two days after new year (odler one) is extremly accurate and really takes a good care that there is enough of everything, also everything is very fresh and tasty, he took care also for the cleanliness on the maximum level - room was also very clean and comfortable - excellent hotel cafe with tasty sweets - we usually visit at least 10 hotels per year across europe and Slovenia and Hotel Paka is one of better in this region - you just feel warm and welcome in this hotel

Room was too hot. Difficulty regulating air cooling in room. No coffee/tea maker or complimentary bottles of water provided in room; no clothes iron/steamer or iron board in room; no lights in corridor from elevator to room at night, a serious safety concern.

nice hotel in Velenje close to the city center and close to the castle up to the hill just after right road. monday the restaurant close at 4pm but the cafeteria inside has wonderful dishes like burgers and super salads and nice blond lady very kind. this bar to be recommended inside the hotel and super breakfast also.

rooms are very little and narrow but it's ok for one night.

good breakfast buffet. recently renovated rooms with good beds in 4th and 5th floor. lots of parking slots available. great location with plenty of restaurants close by.

Staff is very friendly, helpful. This is especially true for the guys in the newly opened restaurant and in the Kavarna which belongs to the hotel. However the kitchen of the restaurant is very-very sophisticated, the tastes are excellent. The breakfast was rich, even the pastries were baked rather during the night than before the brekfast... Parking facility is not dedicated, let's say public, but the hotel provide the guests with a free parking ticket, to be left in the car. Nearby you can find a big shopping center and a very good sport shop (shoes, dresses, accessories for hiking etc.). Ideal starting point for star tours. Last remark: even the hotel was built in so-called "soc-real" style, and some furnitures are relatively old ones, but there is a big reconstruction program in the hotel, which does not disturb your daily life.

Modern room, beautiful bathroom, well equiped. Very satisfied with lunch and breakfast. Nice personal. Hotel is in the centre and I liked everything a lot.

The only minus would be too soft pillow but everything else is like it should be.

Had a lovely stay here recently. The staff were lovely, room very clean. Loved the breakfast choices as well.

There was a party going on till late with a dj (2.30am) which we didn't mind too much but would have appreciated a heads up.

The smell of cooked food from the kitchen was everywhere, even in the rooms on 3rd floor. The ventilation system should be improved for sure, it's not ok for kitchen odors to wake you up in the morning.
