The views are breathtaking! The staff is incredibly nice, thanks to Samuel, Kuda and Kuzi for everything! The menu breakfast is great, but the displayed easy breakfast needs improvement (quality and options of cheese and savory items). Would recommend a nice drink by the bar too! There is a really nice and highly recommended restaurant near by: On The Rocks!

The location was a bit further from the city center than expected. During rush hours there is a lot of traffic, BUT, the location is incredibly beautiful and very safe. If looking for a buzzing time in the city, this may not be the best location, but if you are looking for a beach getaway with good access by Uber to the city, then this is perfect!

Our flight from Sweden was rebooked to one day earlier, so I did find Bliss and booked it just for one night. We should continue north the day after. When we reached to hotel we was taken care of by Samuel ( whith whom I hade been emailing earlier, so he remembered me - always great to be welcomed in that way ). We got a nice room on the ground floor with our own outdoor place towards the beach. When unpacking in or room i did notice that my iPad was missing and i could see on my iPhone that the iPad was still at the airport. Samuel did a great job to call different departments at the airport until he reached Turkish Airlines - that was very helpfull but also busy with the departing flight, so they would be back later. We went for a walk on the beach and was back 2 hrs later. Samuel called again and was told they had fund something, but the person in charge would be back shortly. 3 mnutes later the person from Turkish Airlines called and said ha had my iPad and 45 minutes later I had the iPad in my hand again. Great job by Samuel to help me with this, just like that!! In the evening, we where the only ones having dinner, but what a dinner. The Chef in the kitchen was amazing and Samuel again - now serving us the food and wine - was great ! What a n evening we had and we was quite surpriced that the hotel had a restaurant and a chef of that level. It was just WOW !! Perfect to have that on a place like this !! After a good nights sleep ( maybe to short bed for me ( I'm almost 2m )) we had a good breakfast and took of with a big smile . What else can you do after such a good experiance like this !!

This lovely hotel has the friendliest, happy people taking care of guests. I made friends here during my 3 days. I’d never visited Cape Town before but I will make every effort to return. The food at their restaurant was so very good, I selected the Chefs special each night and was not disappointed. The beach is a short walk away and I could hear the ocean from the delightful outdoor deck right from my room. Table Mountain, the bay, distant city lights at night, Robbens Island for contemplation…views right from my room. I slept so well after the grueling trip from US. They arranged transportation to and from the airport as well as a day trip that exceeded my expectations, taking me to all the spots one could hope to see on a day trip, including the Cape of Good Hope. Now I want to return and spend more time. Perfect in every way.

I liked everything and can’t come up with one negative thing. The communication from staff was super. Everything was super, sorry I can’t come up with anything negative.

The staff were amazing, Vimbai at the front desk and the restaurant staff. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

The bathroom cleaning could be of a better standard, despite bathroom tiles being in dark grey colours I could made out some areas that could do with more cleaning attention. The junior suite is lovely, with a deck, again the deck could be cleaning regularly to make it more inviting. Lastly, the junior suite being on the ground floor gets a bit of noise so this kept me up sometimes. I did notice the noise was reduced after I mentioned to one of the frontline staff.

I absolute loved everything about the hotel: - the location was so great, it felt private and exclusive and yet so close to the beach - the rooms and overall facilities where truly aesthetic and they were kept to high standards - the stuff always friendly and smiley and - the best of it all, the views of Table Mountain I would stay there again with pleasure!

There was nothing not to like.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as was the dinner the night we ate at the property. We loved waking up to lovely views and found the neighborhood quiet and felt safe.

Sunset beach is about a 25-45 minute Uber ride from most of the things we wanted to do. Since we weren’t familiar with Cape Town, we simply overlooked this when booking. However, we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a car and didn’t have any trouble getting a ride back to Sunset Beach towards the end of the day, but not much is walkable from there.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! Great hospitality! Turn down service in evenings was great (loved the chocolate!). Cappuccinos at breakfast were VERY good! It was a great stay, as usual, and we will return!

I REALLY missed the pasty selection at breakfast. A bit disappointed: Great selection of sweet and savoury pastries at previous visits; this time only one (which was average and served cold). How about a change in the breakfast menu (hot items)? - it has been the same for many years.

Special mention to the staff who are charming hosts and keen to do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Plenty of little places to hide yourself away in the shade with a book, in the sun by the pool or on the roof terrace with a sunset.

This area is all about the beach and having some quiet time. If you're hoping for some local vibes with independent shops and cafes, its perhaps not the right place. Surfing and peacefully relaxation? You'll get that here.

The bliss Boutique Hotel is situated nicely at the beach with a little dune in front and we had a great view of Table Mountain from our room. The rooms are very clean and the bed was especially comfortable. Sunset views from the top deck are absolutely breathtaking. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay!

I've traveled throughout the world but this was my first time to South Africa and I was a bit nervous but not so that I'd not go. Any apprehension about my visit melted away with the first meeting of Sam at reception. His simple manner is so welcoming and relaxing and just engulfs with a feeling that you're home. Oddly, everyone from the chef to the housekeeping staff were the same. They were truly concerned about my stay and comfort - I've never been treated so well in all the miles and hotels, motels, BnB's, campsites, etc. I've stayed at. The service, the cleanliness, the smiles - second to none.
