Modern and Green. This is an excellent airport offering from spacious rooms, comfortable beds and an excellent restaurant. Food in SA is top quality but here the standard is maintained. There is also a very nice short walking trail around the property. This is an ideal stay over option for international travellers on internal flights or the last night before returning home. We will return.

We availed of the shuttle into the Waterfront, a service we were thankful for. The communication regarding the pickup could be improved.

The location of Hotel Verde is fantastic if you are travelling to/from Cape Town International Airport. We had a super early flight so booked Hotel Verde the night before for ease. The hotel is literally across the road from the airport, and they offer a free shuttle service to/from the airport every 30mins which was very helpful. The staff were very friendly, they even offered to make us a packed breakfast since we had such an early start for our flight which I thought was a nice touch. The room was clean, had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying if you have an early or late flight and need somewhere close to the airport.

Hotel is well run. The rooms are clean, the restaurant and bar provide good food and drinks. The small walking route is a great way to entertain the kids. I also likes that there was toys fir the kids to play in the reception area along with the music instruments. I also appreciated that the hotel has a shuttle service.

I arrive 30 min early for shuttle, yet once the amount of people started to become increase, they had to get the bigger bus. There was no space for my luggage and me and my family had to wait for the driver to first drop off everyone and return to take us. This cause unnecessary stress over making our flight.

The hotel is perfectly located if you arrive with an late flight or leave early in the morning. Breakfast is served from 4AM. We sadly were late for our flight so could not have breakfast but we did make use of the free shuttle driving every half an hour as a complimentary service. That was perfect. I really appreciated the sustainable concept of the hotel and I was a bit disappointed I could not take full part in it. I would like to see this type of initiatives of collecting green points when performing sustainable actions in other hotels where it is less likely that guests only stay one night. Overall, it a very nice stay with very friendly staff!

We could hear sometimes conversations from the hallway or other rooms but nothing big.

Very convenient to the Cape Town International Airport with a great outdoor facility in a walking/jogging track. The hotel is very cleverly designed and well appointed. The staff in general were very pleasant and attentive.

We had one slight hitch with a Chef who had an attitude problem when it was pointed out that the meal we were served lacked one of the main items of the meal- the crackling of the pork belly! When confronted he said he had thrown it away as it wasn't good enough! So why not tell us before serving? His response was curt and not sincere. All the staff apologized profusely for the chefs attitude. Besides that incident a fantastic facility and great staff

Shuttle service excellent and reliable. Porter on arrival very good and most helpful. Breakfast buffet good and more importantly, available 4am! before the flight for convenience. Most convenient for proximity to the airport with shuttle running every half hour too. The bedroom very well appointed and luxurious.

I did not like the exterior of the hotel which gives the impression of low cost housing . In fact, the hotel is upmarket inside as are all the amenities. The Receptionist on duty was well qualified but could have been a bit warmer and relaxed in her duties. Just an observation No criticism.

Such friendly, helpful staff even with a past-midnight arrival and a late room service order. The linen, super comfy bed and pillows, size and layout of the room and bathroom ..chilled glass-bottled water in the mini-fridge ...and the fact that on top of all of this its the greenest hotel in Africa. Super convenient location too ...we arrived really late, picked up our hire car ...and the hotel was just a couple of minutes away (no need to negotiate exit roads or highways if you're coming straight from arrivals). Im South African and havent been home to SA in a while and honestly... the staff ... the vibe ...the decor ...every little detail ...it was like coming back to THE BEST OF HOME and the BEST OF MZANSI. I even had a little cry ....of relief and happiness ... when I got to our room.

Hotel Verde is literally across the road from airport, took less than 5 minutes to get there in the complimentary shuttle. It was much nicer than I expected, very modern, decor was lovely, check in was very easy and staff were awesome. Room was excellent, bed extremely comfortable, awesome bathroom and shower was amazing. We really enjoyed our one-night stay at this lovely hotel, airport transfer to and from hotel was so easy in the shuttle. We were also able to hop in the shuttle to pop over to the airport in the evening to pick up food etc at Woolworths as there are no shops around hotel itself. Highly recommended.

We would have given 10/10 for this lovely hotel however we were a little disappointed in the breakfast, it didn't match the quality of the hotel. If we hadn't chosen breakfast included option, it would have been 10/10.

Although we were only using the hotel to overnight between travelling, it is a fantastic hotel, including in terms of location, cleanliness and comfort, great staff, great facilities and quite honestly, just felt a bit luxury in-between travelling. The staff, from check-in to luggage helpers, to restaurant and bar staff, were so friendly and helpful. Bonus is that you can get the shuttle to and from the hotel, as well as to the waterfront if you wish / need. They do wood fired pizzas on-site which we ordered and a wide range of drinks. Both incredible! Beds and facilities in the room were super comfy and such a little cute addition of fresh milk in the fridge, just in case you need it (no plastic sachet stuff). They are super environment conscious and advertise it all round the hotel as well, with tips on how we ourselves can be better. Great all-round hotel!

This is not your usual cookie cutter chain hotel. It is a special home for the weary traveler. Exceptional eco design with multiple treats for those arriving or leaving from Cape Town. The shuttle pick up from the airport was timely. Our room was large, clean and had a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was quite special including fresh pancakes and eggs/ omelets to order. Eating on the patio space looking out at the beautiful vegetation is an added delight. Couldn’t ask for better. But best of all we’re the amazingly friendly professional staff.
