The rooms are spacious, the beds are confortable, staff are professional, food is also great.

There is need for more lighting in the room, the TV is too small and a bit old, also consider separating the shower from the bathtub. This is for room 005

Very well located , great facilities , great staff

Room cleaning was not the best . Housekeepers seemed to only change the sheets and towels and not actually clean the room

Location was good, clean spacious room, clean linen, facilities top notch, staff was fantastic from check-in, it was my birthday and they prepared something nice on the house, including welcome drinks for me and my family. The pool area was good, the sea view from my balcony room also amazing. Proper hotel experience, room service and all. I will definitely return next time I'm in Cape Town.

Wifi kept on dropping. The shuttle to and from Camps Bay should be a bit longer in the afternoons. They drop you at 18:00 and fetch at 18:45, that's not near enough time to be at the beach or even eat at a restaurant there. For the 18:00 drop off collection should be at 20:00 minimum.

We stayed in President hotel for a week, last week. It’s a great hotel in the beautiful setting over looking the ocean. We booked a suite with beach view which was a very good size room with a small kitchenette and all the essentials one could need for a short trip. The beds were super comfortable. We slept very well. We could also enjoy the beautiful sunset from the comfort of our room. Breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. We also had light lunch and dinner here once and thoroughly enjoyed it. But the 10/10 score goes to staff. Each and everyone of them. From the check in desk to the porter to the breakfast ladies and gents , he concierge, as well as the guard at the gate. Each one of them makes every effort to make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much for the staff and that’s what make the President hotel truest wonderful place to stay.

Nothing really. Everything was excellent

Breakfast was excellent. The variety of food, the selection was amazing. Fresh fruit, oatmeal, omelette made to order, hot chocolate, the list goes on and on. I thought the staff gave beyond excellent service. The pleasantness, their eagerness to help and satisfy every need. The staff were exceptional. A few names I could mention, but others I forget, Lloyd, Bonghi, Christian, Eminence, the supervisor of the fifth Floor, the porters, the guest services, no one did not do their best for the client. The rooms and the views were breathtaking,

The desert menu was too limited. The ATM had a few hiccups.

Above all, the room was clean and comfortable and truly made me feel at home. The location was ideal, with easy access to everything we needed. Although we chose not to dine at the hotel, shopping and dining options were conveniently nearby. Major attractions like the Waterfront shopping centre and the beaches were within easy reach, with Camps Bay being my personal favourite. The breakfast was exceptional, offering various dishes to suit every palate. There was something for everyone, from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty hot options. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail, such as the availability of oats, which made my children feel right at home—they didn't even miss the comfort of our own kitchen. The food quality and the warm, accommodating service contributed to an outstanding dining experience.

However, I was disappointed with the fried eggs. While the eggs themselves were fine, the cleanliness of the frying station left much to be desired, which affected the quality of the dish. Unfortunately, the eggs ended up unappetising and I could not eat them. As a result, I had to switch to the omelette for the remainder of the week.

The staff were amicable and helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal for us, while tucked in a quiet area, it was very close to a city bus tour stop and the sea was quickly accessible on foot. The hotel restaurant offered a nice menu for dinner and the breakfast spread was diverse enough to our liking. The room was well equipped with a microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery and a good hair dryer. The room and the hotel in general was clean and well maintained.

The fixed shower head arrangement was not very practical, but we were provided with shower caps daily, so it was not too bad. Our room was right next to the children playground and we could hear the kids playing till quite late, not too ideal if you need some quiet time.

The Staff are really friendly and amazing, The breakfast is really great.. Loved the sea views.

I Did not like the fact that we had to come down six floors everytime we had to smoke even thou we had a taken Balcony suite, That was really terrible, It should state that no smoking even with rooms with a balcony, and the designated area was on the other side of the building with barely any cover, and it rained and we were getting wet, Just does not make any sense at all. Also the cleaning up of the room takes so long, we were out for 5 hours and to come back at 3pm and our room was still not made up, very ridiculous.. We had to wait hours just to get back in the room and rest..

Great location in Bantry Bay close to beach and promenade. Fantastic breakfast, secure easy parking.

Outdoor pool should be heated so guests especially kids can swim. We had a problem on the first night of our stay as there is an extremely noisy aircon right above room 629 which reverberates into the rooms below. As a result, we couldn't sleep that night even with earplugs. Thankfully the duty manager Angelo was helpful and assisted us with alternative accommodation away from the noise. This AC needs to be attended to definitely an issue for other guests as well. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, have been here a number of times with our family.

reception area and various ground floor seating area, great view from sea facing apartment, wonderful breakfast layout with 2 x coffee machines and a self service pancake station, good wifi speed and stable connection, size of the apartment, coffee machine and pods provided in the apartment, passages has a lovely looking carpet and various photos on the walls, lifts are very fast and silent, excellent ducted aircon with individual controls in each area of the apartment, good communication from Joy Carroll in reservations, pleasant staff all round, good meals at the Islands restaurant and fairly priced, my steak was perfectly done to medium.

towel rack on the wall came loose, kitchen sink blocked up but was rectified by maintenance staff very quickly. There's really no significant negatives, i mention these for completeness.
