Very sophisticated facility. Breakfast not very great especially the potatoes and omelette but one cannot let that ruin the overall good experience. My daughter really enjoyed her stay for her 16 birthday tour while staying there. The business area for the working people is basically an open plan office where you can work so comfortably with all the space and convenience you need.

The lady who made my daughter feel unsettled on Wednesday morning as we walked in for breakfast. She did not check that we were 2 people before making it look like she was not counted in. That felt so awkward for me with a child behind me. Imagine if there were people behind us. Would have been embarrassing. Lastly, the iron boxed tied to the ironing board must be made longer so that they can reach the socket. Leaving the place.

I love the day staff, I am loyal to 54 on Bath and we love the staff at 54 from the restaurant to reception to the Bell men. We want to thank them for taking us last minute for our breakfast and always accommodating us with such great hospitality. In regards to Southern Sun my parents and my sister’s kids have stayed at Southern Sun Rosebank so they like it. I was pleasantly surprised by the room service food. We have always loved the food at Southern Sun OR Tambo but now we think Rosebank will give them a run for their money.

The very rude receptionist in the afternoon. She had attitude and was rude the whole night of our stay. She is skinny dark and has short hair plus wears glasses. The rest of the Southern Staff from 54th of Bath, OR Tambo, Sun City and even in Maputo is all world class. It’s a pity she’s ruining it for such a great brand.

Our room was comfortable, clean and the Hotel is located in Rosebank close to the Rosebank Mall where there is wonderful shops and restaurants. Breakfast at the Southern Sun Rosebank was first class. The Hotel Lobby is spacious and the restaurant serves the best meals, the interior design of the Hotel is fabulous. Staff helpful and friendly. We stayed as a family of five people and the service was brilliant. We will recommend this Hotel to other travellers. There is a courtesy car taking guests to the Mall at convenient intervals daily. Thank you for the pleasant stay, we will not hesitate to stay there in future.

The bathroom vanity table was slightly too big and at times the bathroom door smacked against the corner denting the bathroom door.

Paying for parking is unrealistic and an inconvenience

Staff (front desk, porters, house keeping) were friendly, hospitable, and catered for every need. One evening, manager did give a courtacy call, which was pleasantly unexpected. Staff went over and beyond to cater for anniversary and baby in the room prior to check in and as requested. Breakfast was enjoyable and facilities were top class. There was a barista and waiters were on point. Room service food was 5 star!

Front of house for breakfast appeared to be abit flustered each day. A particular light could not be switched off, thus negatively impacted sleep quality. However, great experience and hospitality.

We liked the location and comfortable beds.

The bathroom is too small for the room size. On our second stay, we were given a room that had a shower in the bathtub, and the water was not draining out. The room had to be changed. On our third stay, we requested a room with a shower, but unfortunately, the wash basin was leaking badly, and a plumber was sent to check it out. However, he was unable to fix the problem since he didn't have the part needed, and instead placed a bucket, in an already tiny bathroom, under the counter to catch the water. Nobody bothered to check if the problem was fixed l, and we weren't offered another room. On check in, the bin in the room still had trash and the pillowcases were not changed. Housekeeping was sent to change the dirty pillowcases. Overall this hotel needs an upgrade for the price it charges.

It was nothing short of a 5-star experience! From the moment I arrived, I was treated to exceptional service. Being welcomed with a glass of wine was a delightful start to my stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, offering impeccable piccolo service and even a clean-your-shoe service, which was a fantastic touch. The barista at the breakfast area made my mornings with delicious, perfectly crafted coffee. The rooms were beautifully clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and unwind. Every aspect of my stay was perfect, and I can't wait to return. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to a very nice and big shopping mall. The à la carte restaurant in the hotel offered delicious and affordable food, which made dining there a great experience. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay.

We booked as a family and for our convenience, the hotel booked us in interlinked rooms. That was quite considerate as it gave us the feel of an apartment and could spend time together as a family. We were impressed by the great welcome we received on our TV monitors. The breakfast was amazing as was the dinner,

I thought the staff could have communicated better. We were never told that had to make reservations for the dinner, and only discovered this on pitching up for it. Fortunately a lovely member of staff managed to get a table for us at the end, for which we were grateful. And why isn't parking free for hotel guests? Also being New Year's Eve, the hotel ought to have organised something for entertainment.

- Location is perfect as it is close to Rosebank Mall. - Shuttle taking guests to and from the Rosebank Mall was/is a considerate and brilliant idea. - Room size and its setup is stunning.

- Hotel guests pay for parking 😱, and this is unfair and somehow a ripoff ☹️😔😞 ..! - On check-in, the receptionist does not indicate that the parking will be paid for separately. And this came to me as a shock on check-out 🤯. - I requested for a breakfast pack (for my partner) in the morning when I came to eat breakfast. Only to be told that I should have booked it a day before. So, my partner never ate breakfast ☹️.
