We were super comfortable. Good location. Good breakfast.

This is not a complaint but a suggestion. On the top back rest of the couch in the bedroom is a wire protruding through the upholstery. On of our jackets that was lying on the couch got hooked on the wire and was badly damaged. Please fix this so this doesn't have to happen to future guests.

Beautiful old property with gorgeous grounds and garden. Very comfortable room and bathroom was well-appointed. Small kitchenette with basic appliances for dinner, breakfast was included and served in diningroom and was generous and tasty.

Such a well maintained property. Farmstyle chic with lots of attention to details and thoughtful touches. Water jug and glass by the bed, cute coffee spot and well presented dining set up. Feels like a home away from home. Patrick is a phenomenal host.

Load shedding of course. Maybe a few more lighting options for this or a generator in future.

The absolute quaintness of the room and the exceptional thought that went into the travellers needs. I loved that the room was spacious and I felt so comfortable. The fact that I could have my show cat with me was really fabulous. Overall a fantastic stay and I will definitely be back!

There is nothing that I would change. The property is safe and secure from what I saw and I would not change anything.

breakfast was awesome and delicious . The location was perfect for us because we were just in the same neighbourhood as the wedding venue. If forgot something at home no need to worry because is just few minutes away

The room we stayed in the toilet had a small leak behind the seat and the brush for the toilet and the holder must be changed as they don't look good..

Patrick the host very welcoming. Very hands on. Pleasant and accommodating.Nothing was too difficult. He was a phone call away when you needed anything. Beautiful place. Everything was provided for.

This accommodation is situated in a quiet leafy culdesac and set in a lovely old fashioned garden full of mature trees and shrubs. I had a warm immediate welcome from the owner. Very close to the heart of Pietermaritzburg, but bird song and peace fooled me into thinking otherwise. The garden borders on a stream and a short walk down steps into a glen, I was able to enjoy a seat in a forest glade. Nothing was too much trouble when i needed assistance.

Personally, I dislike ALL carpeted rooms (allergies), but as they were clean, I was not fussed.

What a great B&B, a warm greeting from Patrick. The location was magnificent and a real comfortable place to stay away from home. Will definitely be going there on our next trip to Pietermaritzburg.

Location was perfect for our needs; the setting was beautiful; rooms were comfortable and beautifully appointed; our host Patrick was friendly and welcoming; the breakfast was lovely - if not too much!!!

There's nothing I did not like just to cover between the bottom of the door and the mats to avoid lizards coming in. Beside that the place is perfect.
