The owner, Roland, is very kind. He made us feel very welcome and was really helpfull. He knows all the great spots to visit during your stay in Stellenbosch. The pool has a nice size and the room was clean. The breakfast also was very nice. You have to be a animal lover to stay here. Roland has a dog, a rabbit and the birds and squirls come dine with you at the outside table. We had a very nice stay in "the little hideaway"

Clean, comfortable, well appointed. Room was warm. Breakfast was a delight, exceeded expectations. Everything was delicious, hot and tasty. Beautiful gardens, in a tranquil setting. Lovely host and friendly staff. Exceptional value for money.

No toiletries and no hairdryer.

Lovely place in a peaceful location, not too far from the rest of the town. I loved the garden and animals wandering around. The info said there's no internet but there indeed was WiFi which was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom double sink was cool.

I was freezing even with the heater in the room. Also I couldn't get the TV on - didn't bother asking about it as I didn't really need it. Proper knives and a cutting board would have been a great addition.

The garden is really a beautiful oasis and rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped. The staff was extremely nice from the first moment - I felt more like coming home to a family than to a B&B. I will for sure return and I hope I can have more time to enjoy swimming pool and to chill in the beautiful garden Roland has built over the years.

The room itself was absolutely stunning, my favorite feature was the massive bathtub and the bathroom mirrors. There was an abundance of closet space for my partner and I. The outside garden was spectacular to look at and walk through and just brought us a sense of peace and serenity. Our room although attached to other rooms was extremely private and we had our own space. We will definitely be returning soon!

The breakfast that was served was underwhelming.

Bernie and his wife were kind and genuine. The property is beautiful. My favourite spot was the bench looking into the garden, catching the last of the sun :) It is a very quiet, tranquil place to stay.

This isn't anything I disliked, only that the room was freezing at night. There was a blanket on the bed but it was not very warm. Maybe a warmer blanket, or possibly just to advise people that they should bring an extra blanket.

Beautiful setting. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable -catering for all our needs.The Little Hideaway Guest House is conveniently situated for ease and relaxation. Host Roland is both interesting and attentive. From booking to checkout, the staff go out of their way to accommodate every need. We will definitely be back.

Did not have breakfast, actually did not know it was a possibility! Quiet neighbourhood, good for a light sleeper like me.

Tv only two channels, one was whatever was on in the lounge, also difficulty in switching on and off, wifi on first evening not good, but after that perfect. Parking maybe a bit tight

This is a very hidden, peaceful and spacious property. The room is majestic and even has a living space, as well as a king sized four poster bed. The property has a tranquil garden and a fabulous swimming pool.

The location was far from Stellenbosch but thankfully Uber is widely used in the area.

The room was much larger, nicer and more comfortable than expected. The owners/staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The amenities were much nicer than expected. Overall great experience. We will definitely visit again!

The only things that I could mention is 1) there is limited parking, so if you have a large vehicle you might struggle to get into the smaller spaces, and 2) the shower tap handle was a little "wonky" and took a few minutes to figure out.
