My room was facing the pool and river and it was huge ,clean and comfortable. Their buffet breakfast was delicious. I had dinner at the hotel and i must say their steak and pork ribs are to die for, delicious.

the place was under construction and there was a bit of noise now AND then, but not too much. The DSTV had only 3 channels and for me it was a bit boring, rather they do streaming channels( like Netflix)

The room is beautiful and very big, it was very comfotible. Had a beautiful view, very calm and relaxing, the staff at reception and at lunch was very helpfull, very romantic room

The room needs a bit of maintice like the cracking in walls and paint. And fix up the curtain rails a bit. Its just plain maintince. The breakfast staff can be a bit more friendly

The views from the hotel,the hotel has most beautiful views of the golf course,the pools and the river.

The room that was allocated to us needs some renovations,we were at room 407,the furniture is very old,also the sheets,the shower was also clogging,power drainage, also a need for new towels,because of the views and the location, the hotel can easily be upgraded to a 5 star hotel,it offers so much that most of 5stars hotel does not have,only if you can work on the upgrade.

The pool is very clean and the atmosphere was great!

The shower door was broken, and the room was not prepared upon my arrival, beds were only made after 21:00.

The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel porters were helpful and very friendly as well. The location is wonderful with views on the Vaal River and the Golf club next door. The Hotel gardens are beautifully kept and lends to a tranquil atmosphere. We had a boat ride on the river which was very relaxing and highly recommended. The restaurant staff are all very efficient and friendly and the food is good. Vusi at the restaurant walked the extra mile for us. We played Pitch and Putt next door at the Golf Club and was yet again, just like last year, treated wonderfully by Meshack. The parking area is very safe as a result of very competent and alert security staff.

Although our room was clean when we arrived, we had to ask for towels on our first day and on every other day afterwards. The room would be cleaned but the towels won't be replaced and sometime we also had to ask for toilet rolls and tea and milk and sugar! So much so, that we decided to buy our own. In my humble opinion I think the cleaning staff need better training. I actually mentioned this also last year after our visit (2023) and nothing has changed. This causes unnecessary frustration.

An Amazing Weekend Getaway We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel also boasts a lovely garden with a pool, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Overall, it was an amazing weekend, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Lack of beverage options

Loved the view, the food & drinks, friendly staff - enjoyed our stay overall very much...

On our first night, the room next door were VERY LOUD ... played loud music and overall just loud, and not only in their room but also in the halls .... I phoned reception at 23h45 for help - the told me they would send security - but nothing changed about the noise for another hour .... did not enjoy this at all ...

Firstly the staff is friendly and welcoming too.. My room was top notch.. cleanness was on point This was my 3th visit to the hotel I also prefer Riviera hotel on holidays..also the food was on point.. thank you so much

Ok I’ll have to mansion it but it’s ok My had another door inside my room so I was struggling to sleep cause the noise was coming from the room next door my room was 505

The breakfast was basic however it was good value for the money paid. I really enjoyed it seeing as how I booked the wrong hotel thinking I was booking Riverside Sun and I did enjoy my stay. The bonus was having the aircon working so well during the heat wave. The food was great considering the price we paid. Exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

The insects were huge and there was no insect repellant for sale however we drove to the nearest pharmacy the next morning and got sunscreen and insect repellant.
