You could not find better hosts anywhere else. Mr. Kenny and his wife really made us feel welcome. It felt like we were visiting family. We where provided excellent service and breakfast (the breakfast room/common area have fantastic view, great start of the day). We were also offered ample tips and reccomendations on everything from restaurants, attractions and daytrips. They provided us with bus schedules and everything. And we didn't even need to ask. It was as though they knew what we needed even before we did. Highly recommend a stay here.

A bit far away from the old town, but taxies are cheap and you can also get there by bus

The kindest host possible, so invested in the work, Mr and Mrs Kim are a really sweet couple, and a good team. They offered us breakfast one day, and Mr Kim insisted to take the very heavy luggage because there is no lift, fixed the AC and even cleaned the room and accompanied us to book tickets at the station (still with the suitcases...). Thank you to the 3 of you (with Bob? the dog). Don't hesitate to book here! Jeonju is an awesome, under appreciated city.

Not much, maybe a better blanket for the bed, not synthetic, but it's a detail haha

The room is big and clean. The hostel is just few minutes walk from the train station, easy to walk over even carry big luggage. The hostel owner was very friendly and nice. Although no lift in the hostel, he helped me to carry luggage during check in and check out. Lastly, I liked the breakfast served. It was started to cook only when I reached the dining area, hence the toasted bread, fried egg and ham are all served in warm condition.

It took some time to travel to most of the Jeonju tourist places, eg. half an hour to Jeonju Hanok Village. However, the bus stops are nearby, buses are quite frequent and no need to wait for long times.

The place is super easy to get to Hanok Village and bus station and located next to Jeonju station. The owner Kenny Kim is superb helpful with his local knowledge and thanks to his wife Mrs Kim they served a reasonably satisfactory breakfast. Definitely value for money as bed is comfortable, really clean overall the place and the communal kitchen on level 4 is cosy and warm. Great hospitality extended by the lovely couple. Kamsa hamida

First, the location was perfect for those who have morning schedule for KTX train. Its right next to the station! You just have to walk for 1-2 min. I have big luggages with me and have to catch up morning train, so it helps me a lot! You can leave your luggages in the first floor because there are no elevator. They also provide us clean towel and body wash, shampoo conditioner. The person in charge was very kind. The room was neat and clean. They also offering cheap price for breakfast. It's a good deal.

No elevator.

Firstly, the room is very clean and spacious for a solo traveller. Basics necessities like toiletries & hairdryer is provided, there’s even a mini fridge! Secondly, I personally like how close it is to Jeonju station and bus stop. It’s a 5 min walk. Thirdly, the host Kenny is very friendly and helpful. He shared the best way to get to Daedunsun Mountain and included breakfast. There’s also free Ramyeon, which I unfortunately did not manage to eat because I only stayed for 3D2N :( Thank you so much!

Nothing, highly recommended.

Friendly and authentic. It was nice to stay in a family-owned hostel - made it personable. Owner clearly did his best to make our stay and relaxed as possible. Also gave good recommendations for things to do outside of Jeonju. Homemade breakfast was good and they provide a free laundry service if you’re staying for a certain amount of days. Also, the first place that we experienced who offered bigger towels! Although location is a bit far from some hot spots (Hanok village, Food market etc), you can easily take the bus in front of the hotel or take a taxi. We booked it because it was close to the station.

It is my second time in this hostel. It is well located, right next to the train station and in front of the bus stop to go to Jeonju express bus terminal, but also the Hanok Village etc. The rooms are simple, cleans and comfortables. They include AC, a mini fridge, hairdryer, clean towels everyday... With a nice private bathroom. The homemade breakfast is delicious (toasts, egg and ham, apple slices, cereales, homemade jam, juice, tea, coffee...). You can cook and eat in the beautiful kitchen, with a nice view over the city, or go to one of the many restaurants around. But as always, the best thing is the owners. M. and Mrs Kim are the nicest person you will meet, and they will do all they can to make your trip confortable. They even invited us to eat a delicious pork barbecue with them! If you want a simple and nice family hostel, this is the place for you :) I will come back again!

The room is small, only has bed and TV but clean and comfortable. It connects to the private bathroom that are modern and clean. Good facility for this small and cheap room. The host is so nice and fluent in english.

The property is quite hard to find. It is located after the police station and inside the alley. The alley is before ‘SK’ small building. If you travel: Using kakao taxi, put ‘JJ International Hostel’. Using bus, No 79, No 119, No 999.

The most amazing host, helps with everything and more. Great breakfast. Free laundry. Took me and another guest to see a beautiful shrain and waterfall. Invited us to lunch at a restaurant and to top it all he and his wife made us a great dinner

The location is not the best, near the train station but far from hanok village. But there are great buses, and it a small price to pay in my opinion considering.
