The guesthouse is conveniently located near the vibrant Hongdae Shopping District. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest subway station and just a 5-minute walk to the closest bus stop, making it easy to explore the city. The area is bustling with a wide variety of restaurants and bars, offering plenty of dining and nightlife options. However, it's worth noting that the guesthouse is in a lively part of town, which might not be ideal for those who prefer quieter environments. Despite the busy surroundings, my stay was comfortable. The room and common areas were impeccably clean, even with many guests coming and going. Everyone adhered to the house rules, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was also a delightful perk.

The only downside I noticed was the lack of an elevator, making the stairs a bit of a challenge for carrying luggage. Installing a dumbwaiter for luggage would be a great improvement.

The communication was excellent from Alex, the host, leading up to my stay. And he was super helpful overall -- even spending a while helping me figure out some public transportation challenges when I checked in.

On the one hand, the location is excellent if you're interested to explore Hongdae -- it's right there on the main road, walking distance from key bus stops and subway stations. However, the downside of that it is right in the midst of the nightlife (literally on top of a nightclub). I could hear loud music in my room all night long.

Nice, central in a good and lively area, good value for money.

The music from the bars outside can be heard loudly past midnight, so if you are a light sleeper this can be good to be aware of.

Great location in Hongdae! Staff were so nice & helpful. Only downfall was the bathroom/ toilet is shared and the towels provided were tiny. Literally the size of bath mats. Walking distance to everything

The location was amazing. It’s also quite quiet and respectful. The staff are also so kind and hardworking, give great recommendations, and are generally just there for you if and when you need it.

I think the breakfast options were pretty limited, and I sort of wish there was more of a communal atmosphere in the main room! People pretty much just kept to themselves, but that’s also ok!

The price was excellent for the facilities! The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, especially because they have extra storage room so good for people who travel with big bags! They provide breakfast everyday from 7-11 and the staff was super nice and responsive to messages. When we arrived they gave us a thorough welcome tour and explain everything we need to know about the facilities. Also, they have a lot of bathrooms and shower rooms and they keep it in good and clean conditions. Even though it is located nearby bars and pubs, the noise never got in and we were able to sleep very comfortably.

The door locks are giving us a hard time because the alarm will ring (very loudly) when we leave the door open for a while. It also doesn’t work with wet hands which makes it hard to press the door code (esp after you shower). Even though we didn’t mean to make noise there was a time when we accidentally set off the alarm and hotel staff came to scold us :( The location is in the middle of hongdae so it is literally close to all the good restaurants, pubs, bars, and shopping areas. However, As it is located nearby bars and pubs so at night there are a lot of crowds, and in the morning the streets in the nearby area are quite dirty with party remains.

The location was super convenient and even though it was in the middle of nightlife area you couldn’t hear any noise or music from outside! I will stay here again.

It felt like a maze to get round! but the staff were very helpful to show me around. also the beds are futons not mattresses so if you’re travelling for work or planning to stay a long time and you’re not used to this kind of sleeping, then it is not comfortable for you.

Incredible location right in the middle of the club street in Hongdae. The staff is super nice, helpful and friendly. The place itself is clean and has a lot of amenities. The bathrooms and showers are very big and comfortable. Despite being literally across the street from a club, the room was relatively quiet.

For my comfort level, the mattress was too thin and very tough, so it was a little uncomfortable.

The location is great! The staff who assisted me with my self-check-in was easy to communicate with and was constantly checking on me as I arrived quite late.

I had to take my luggages up to the 4th floor, as they don’t have a lift. Would have been better if the AC remote was available to use.
