Spa was lovely and made this 3-day stay worth it. I used it each morning; hours are overnight 3pm-10am. The front desk and room service staff were friendly. Our standard queen room for 2 was small, but clean. Shower was nice; the water pressure was adjustable. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided. Bathroom has a bidet! Although there is no microwave in the room, there is one in the basement floor (B2); same floor as the spa.

The sink in our room did not drain well, so it was difficult to brush your teeth or wash face. It was a huge inconvenience. We had to clean it multiple times, because it was also small and became dirty at each use due to the extremely slow draining. The bed was on the firm side and pillows did not provide much support. Why is there a separate charge to get a decent pillow? A decent sized fluffy pillow would be a standard expectation at most hotels. Lighting was also terrible. I had to go to the window to do my makeup or read.

This is my 2nd time returning to Dormy. The hospitality from the staff from the reception to the restaurant as always is excellent. Highlights for me at this hotel includes the SPA facility, the evening complimentary Japanese Hot Udon service as well as the availability of the use of the mobile hot-steamer for me to straighten-up my clothes ahead of my work days in Seoul. And with the shopping district & food street just a stone throw away from the hotel, after work, there was ample opportunity for "me time". A wonderful hotel within & around!

In my previous room there was a small luggage cabinet to place my bag for unpacking. In this trip, the room I was given did not have one. I note that the room space is tight, but it will certainly be helpful for those of us with a bad back to have at least a folding luggage rack available as part of the room facility or on demand from house-keeping.

The basement onsen (communal hot spring bathing) is excellent. It is kept clean and tidy, and the water temperature is almost as hot as it would be in Japan. I was happy that it stays open through the night, as I came back to the hotel late on several occasions. I also appreciated having the fee coffee in the entrance lobby. And the free ramen in the evening is a nice touch. It is useful that there is a direct subway connection to Gimpo Airport.

Dormy Inn is a little bit far from the nearest subway, a walk of about 6-7 minutes uphill. That is quite tough if you are wheeling a suitcase behind you. However, leaving the hotel to get to the airport, it was easies (as it was downhill).

Clean and well organized hotel. The staff makes things easy and speak english. The spa is enjoyable. The room is cosy and spacey enough for 2 people, beds and pillow are very comfortable and AC working fine. Did not try the breakfast.

Note that even though it is not far from the metro (which is always packed by the way), the street is uphill so it gets sporty with big luggage. And the street itself and around is not really enjoyable.

We went to Dormy Inn as we got kind of used to Dormy Inn on our trip through Japan the previous year and were not disappointed and felt home away from home right from the beginning with the friendly staff, relaxing baths and rich and tasty breakfast.

There was not a lot not to like except some spoiled and noisy young Korean visitors who were too addicted to leave their smartphones outside the SPA and sauna - This was fixed quickly by a very firm but friendly staff-member...

Close enough to Gangnam and Sinsa, taxi only takes about 12 minutes. The onsen was good, has a sauna as well. There is free noodles at night for supper, and the breakfast seems to vary in terms of new things (didn't try it but I saw different posters on some days such as for winter solstice). Close to a busy street at night for food, but pretty quiet while still on a main road. Great view of the city if you're facing the road. Thank you for taking care of my quokka. :)

The pillows. Probably the worst pillows I've ever had a hotel. You can loot different pillows at two time windows a day in the basement, but they're all quite small and hard. At one point of my long stay I was tempted to just go and buy my own pillows because I couldn't sleep well. The room size with two beds was also pretty small. With big luggage of two people, makes moving around more difficult. Hotel reception does not book city taxis for you, only taxis to the airport and that has a time cutoff.

The staff were friendly and helpful and could communicate in simple English. The spa was great and the free noodles were provided between 21:00-22:30 and it was simply amazing! In the lobby, there are machines to make your americano coffee (not open in the mornings unfortunately) and to refill water (hot and cold) which were very useful. In the room, all the essentials were provided including shampoo, body wash, a bottle of water, plenty of towels, clean bedsheets, etc. and a little refrigerator to store things. Additionally, on B1 floor they have vending machine, ice machine and a microwave!

None really, but some minor points below may help others when considering. If the staff can communicate in better English. The room is slightly smaller than average. No taxi pick-up/drop-off point to front of the hotel.

Really nice small rooms with lounge wear, good shower, good bed. The complimentary ramen soup was fun to have each night and sometimes became dinner when we were tired. Staff were very helpful as we do not speak Korean.

I did not realize how sprawling Seoul is. We ended up taking cabs most everywhere and going pretty long distances to what we wanted to see. My recommendation is to do more research than I did on location. I also found the rooms dark, lighting poor.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the evening Raman treat was a nice surprise.

Being quite tall, I could have used a king sized bed, but the bed was super comfortable.

i love their free hot spring area which is relaxing and neat. the noodle at midnight is excellent. Service is fine and room is tidy with a big bed. Good that i can choose the pillow i want.

I thought there is a shuttle bus offered by the hotel to some tourist place, but it doesn't exist. I cant get the coffee in the morning as it can only be used after 3 pm which is not convenient to the customer.
