Location - it is in a "quieter" area of Seoul, but given that it is a busy city you will still hear noise from cars. There were numerous bus stations around which was fantastic. The metro station is a little bit further, but the path is relatively even, so very doable with luggage. Its closeness to the palaces (30 min walk) is also really good as it allowed me to get to know Seoul slowly and by foot in the first half day of being there.
The room was nice, but there were little things that werent so great. Most notably : The shower wall was open at the bottom (which is great because it avoids mould), but the drain was so badly adjusted, that you could shower without water flowing into the rest of the bathroom. Towels were changed daily, so for a solo traveler it isnt too bad. FYI for other travelers: As the name of the hotel is in English, take a piece of paper and write the address in hangul / korean in BIG letters. Most cab drivers i met were elderly and had trouble readying the address on my phone. And the english name of the hotel was not understandable to them.

I absolutely love the room's interior. It had a nice musical theme touch to the room. The bathroom design was really modern with great bathroom hygiene automatic bidet technology. Inside some of the large rooms, you will find a record player where you can select your vinyl in the lobby (the vinyl deposit is required). The hotel room overall was extremely tidy and clean. With this price, the view of the village on the hill was extremely beautiful. Near the hotel, there is also a lot of local restaurants and around the area, there is an olive young store, I would say this hotel has a nice location.
I think that the lighting in the hallway was extremely dark at night with a few lights shining like a small spotlight directed toward the door. The transportation to downtown may take some time since the hotel is quite far from the nearest subway station but the bus stop was not too far away. If you don't mind a bit of walking then this hotel is great. If you are planning on driving here, you might want to reconsider since there is a very limited parking space available. I would recommend that you contact the hotel for parking support.

The staff was very nice and after we had some issues with the safe, they were able to fix it within a day. The rooms were cleaned and we got free water each day. The location is ideal to basically visit all of Seoul. You can reach the palaces within a 15-30 minute walk and three subway stations within a 15 minute walk. There is a 711 close by and many bus stations. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
I would say a negative point could be that we were unable to use the AC to cool down the room (we travelled in March). I don´t know if this is only not possible during the winter months or in general but it could be an issue in summer.

We had heard of Glue Hotel for sometimes, and it was our first sojourn there. We were delighted to have big windows the led to an open view of the city - unlike most of the hotel in Seoul the view was normally blocked by other skyscrapers. They provided vinyl player in the room and allowed tenants to borrow records from the reception desk. And it was fun to watch the turntable to spill out scratchy music decades ago. It was a chill and stylish hotel for exploring the versatile and multi-facated city of Seoul. The staffs we met were very friendly and helpful, and they spoke fluent English.
One minor thing for improvement was their placement of the toilet paper which was not very convenient to reach.

The hotel was great, well connected and yet just slightly outside the hustle and bustle so you get some quiet. The view from our room wa fantastic, especially at night. I will say thought that if you are carrying luggage, the hotel is a little far from the nearest subway station (roughly ten to fifteen minute walk which can be difficult if it’s hot or raining and you’re dragging luggage behind you), so recommended to take the bus from the subway to the hotel. The hotel decor was a cool 00s hipster inspired vibe which I thought was a nice touch. Some design elements seemed incomplete to me like the shower having a small gap at the bottom such that water would easily overrun the stall and wet the floor outside the shower, but that’s just a small pet peeve of mine that’s all. I have to say though, very very big fan of the bidet setup on the toilet, highlight of every morning honestly. I am genuinely thinking of investing in one for my own toilet at home hehe. Anyway, would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Staff is very welcoming and friendly, always happy to help us and support. The hotel is located in 15-minutes walk from Jongno5(o)ga station, and 10-minutes walk from Dongdaemun station, which are fine routes and easy to reach with suitcases. In the close proximity to the hotel you can find coffee shops (turn to the right- you can see COFFEEBAY, really nice atmosphere and great coffee; on the left from hotel is Starbucks), local restaurants and Olive Young. Also hotel is well located regarding the bus transportation, bus stops are just nearby. You can also explore a very nice village across the hotel. The style of hotel is quite unique and charming, and having the bar at B1 floor makes the stay very special. The room was very cozy, and the bed was really soft - exactly what we needed after long days of walk. Also the room had big windows, you can enjoy the views of Seoul.
It was quite cold in the bathroom, and it would be great to have the bathroom and specifically shower - more clean.

The beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! They are king singles, so very roomy. The air con was great and conveniently placed between the beds so that we could turn it on when we got too hot in the middle of the night. There were lots of lighting options also. Everything was very clean and modern and comfortable. Convenient location: Myeongdong is a 20 min bus ride and there are lots of bus stops close by.
The hotel is beside a busy (3 or 5 lane) street so there is a significant amount of traffic noise at night. The location was convenient but the surrounding area is a little less picturesque than the images and didn't feel as safe at night off of the main streets (there is still a great view of suburbia + mountains though). There is only one stool in the twin bedroom so we could not both be seated at the built in desk/table. There is no microwave so you cannot heat any meals from convenience stores (there is a kettle for ramen though).

A great hotel for the price! Location was central to everything that we had planned for trip, and subway station was about a 15minute walk away in each direction. Rooms were clean and modern. Beds were very comfy! There were no annoyingly tucked flat sheets, instead the beds were simply made with a fitted sheet and a plush duvet which I really enjoyed! Had great sleep for the 10days I stayed! Bathrooms had a fully enclosed shower which is a reason I chose this hotel, as many other affordable Korean hotels don't have enclosed showers. They don't provide many toiletries, just mini soaps in the shower, but if you need to pick up a toothbrush or anything, you can easily find them at any of the convenience stores literally a 2 min walk away. Front desk was very helpful, ask them for anything; restaurant recommendations, coin laundry services, food delivery, umbrella rentals, etc! Overall, if i decided to stay in the stay neighborhood in Seoul again, I would 100% be staying at Glue Hotel!
No complaints!

Everything! Our deluxe twin room was spacious, had an excellent view, great AC, excellent toilet (bidet, warm seats, etc), robes and slippers, daily cleaning and fresh towels daily. Location was great near three 7-11s, 3 Subway stations and numerous eateries. Staff was communicative, friendly and efficient. I REALY loved this stay, and most especially our room. I couldn’t wait to get back to the room after daily Trips, knowing it was so comfortable and cool.

I stayed for 10 nights. The location of the hotel is quite nice, with bus stops nearby and helpful staff who can communicate in English. There are also plenty of restaurants around. While the room may be on the smaller side, it is very comfortable for a solo traveler. My room was on the 12th floor and I found the views to be spectacular. There's also a good AC/heating unit that is above the bed that keeps the room very cosy.
Unfortunately, I feel as though the rooms could have been cleaned a little better. Also, one day, cleaning accidentally took my towels and didn't replace them so I was left with any big towels to use after after showing. Also had to go to reception to request toilet paper after I ran out and it never got refilled. The rooms are not soundproof as I could hear one of my neighbors one night.
