Nice to CU convenience store next to it. Staff are helpful. Reaction time from housekeeping and technical support is super fast. Within 5 minutes they come to our room to deliver what we ask and help fix some issue we faced. Shower water is hot all the time. Saunna is good and gym room is big and complete equipment. Room is clean, bath tub is comfortable.

Far from subway, it is not suitable for family to travel in winter. The bus network is complicated. Calling a cab from hotel with assitance from the front desk. Need to worry about catching a cab back to hotel. All map and apps are in korea. Tried kakao taxi, bit not easy to identify pick up point easily without help, furthermore it is cold in winter.. Surrounding is too quite, only a Nice to CU conveniece store next to hotel which we visit every night.

Everything. It was an amazing stay. The room was spacious and always clean. It has a refrigerator, a kettle and tea, coffee and fresh water bottles were served every day. The hotel has a very good equipped gym, and a laundry room with a microwave for everyone to use. The bus 162 is just outside and needs like 20mins to the center. The metro jongno 5 is like a 13mins walk away and brings you to the station. Next to the hotel are also 2 convenient stores and many korean restaurants are close by. I didnt book the breakfast, so idk about that one.

I was missing an actual cupboard in the room.

I have booked this hotel last minute during my Asia trip and I know that it was the best option at that time. This hotel is quite a new building located close to Changgyeonggung Palace. There are 3 convenience store on that street. We had an opportunity to use a luggage storage in the hotel which was very helpful for us. Personal in this hotel was probably the best experience during our stay here. Especially, people working qt the reception were very friendly. I don't know the name of one receptionist but she should be awarded for being extremely kind and helped us a lot! Rooms were specious and almost immaculate with big TV with English - speaking channels and comfy beds. Really appreciate the leaflets and magazines about Seoul provided on the ground floor, Breakfast - there wasn't a huge or small amount of options to choose from but everything vas delicious and fresh. I really loved the amount of fruits there. The restaurant was always clean and there were always free seats no matter at what time you plan to pay a visit for your brekker there. I Was really satisfied that I have chosen this hotel & gonna visit it during my next trip to Asia. I Need to say thank you to orakai daehakro Hotel'S staff.

If I had to mention any cons I would say that the waiting time for elevators was frustrating and if someone wanna use only subway metro it's kinda far but you can reach it within A few minutes by bus - there are many bus stops on this street.

Orakai Daehakro is modern, clean and well-maintained. This street is a gem - it is conveniently situated near attractions and a lively street with ample food and shopping, but still not hectic or overly polluted with the smell of cigarettes, like other parts close to downtown Seoul can be. The concierge was excellent - professional, friendly and very helpful. One issue I ran across with hotels in Korea were that they were not as nice as advertised. Orakai Daehakro is exactly as shown and described and I highly recommend it.

Male coffee barista was always rude and seemed to dislike people and his job.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The beds were so incredibly comfortable, as were the pillows. Spacious shower easily big enough for two with proper water pressure. The air conditioner worked well too, though the lower temp was capped at 18/19 degrees (celcius). There is a cafe, coin laundry, and a spa, though the latter was closed for maintenance while we were there. The staff is very courteous and kind, generously offering to stow our luggage on the day of our departure. If we ever visit Seoul again, the beds alone are reason to stay here again.

Very tidy, spacious, great view from my room. Great service and friendly receptionists. Close, walking distance to some of the major attractions. There are plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Ordered room service for breakfast one day, I was sick with cold and ordered lovely soup, rice, etc. Very enjoyable. Gym looked great. Washing and dryers worked well.

Due to being on 15 floor, sometimes the elevators would take a while to come up, nothing worth complaining about.

It was impeccably spotless, the staff was always there to clean the room every day and replenish the facilities. They also had the best equipped gym in a hotel I've seen in my life. The machines looked as if they were just bought.

Sadly the sauna has been out of service for months prior to our stay. The pillows could be a little more comfortable.

Prior to my stay there, I emailed the hotel to request for a high floor level and thin pillow. During check-in, the concierge knew of my request before I got to say it which shows that the staff took it seriously. They gave my mum and I a room on level 11 (they had a total of 15 floors) and the pillows were super soft there. The breakfast selection for the buffet was good too!

The only thing I found disappointing is that the sauna is closed for maintenance. When asked about when it would be reopened, they seem to have replied that the sauna won't ever be open again.

Was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was nice. We liked it.

The AC was a bit loud and was only able to cool down the room to 25 degrees. It was western style, there was no step / area to take off shoes. Not a big issue but not my preference. There was no water dispenser, or anything else to get free water in the lobby. (But room service leaves 2 small Bottles of water when cleaning). The mirror above the sink could've had better lighting (for shaving / makeup).
