A good quality 2 star hotel with excellent location, many restaurants, cafes shops all in two steps. We ate at the hotel restaurant, was excellent. The waiter was super nice .

Just a note - The receptionist told us that walking the camino way from A Coruña to Santiago de Compostela is considered as qualified for 100Km and can get the Camino certificate when arrives in Santiago. But we checked with the pilgrims office in Santiago, we were told to start from A Coruña is ONLY applicable to local A Coruña residents. All others must start from Ferrol otherwise no certificate… haha. Be careful when giving advice…

Very clean and very nice staff. Location is really great. Breakfast was a very good value.

A few small areas for improvement: no refrigerator in room, but you can ask staff to put your items in the restaurant’s kitchen refrigerator; hot water is extremely hot and can surge when you’re showering so you have to make adjustments and be aware; room walls are thin, but guests were mostly quiet; only Nespresso machine in room, would have preferred an electric kettle for tea.

For us, Hotel Lois was perfect. We found the owners and staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable. The location was very central, with garage parking nearby. Breakfast was excellent. And the hotel restaurant was absolutely superb and highly recommended. Locals ate there. Value for money was good, both in the hotel and restaurant. We would definitely go back to Hotel Lois.

Nothing comes to mind, except perhaps the bed pillows were not our favorite.

Very central location for a walking holiday around the city. Housekeeping was impeccable, the whole hotel looked newly decorated so well was it looked after. A varied menu of reasonably priced food only added to our enjoyment. However the most important aspect to us were the people, nothing was to much trouble and despite our lack of the Spanish language, everyone from front office, housekeeping and catering were eager to assist. One more thing to say, we're already booked for next year, but for an extra week.

Location, very clean, staff were unobtrusive but helpful when needed.

No refrigerator or hot water kettle in room. Noise carried badly between rooms, but thankfully I was there in low season so after first night I was on 3rd floor alone. Hot water in shower spiked when neighbor flushed their toilet—nearly scalded me badly! When I complained to front desk, they said I should just maybe not turn the water up as hot next time. LOL. I mean, it worked. But I had to laugh.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, and for an overnight stay in A Coruna the location is superb.

The only complaint was that the configuration of the room meant that moving around the bed caused difficulty. My partner caught her leg on the bed base which had an unprotected hard corner.

Nice to have friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast that was included in our price, nice cherry bar and more formal dining area as well. Great location. Rooms were small, but that’s what we were expecting for the price point. Very clean. Nice touches of modern mixed with, interesting art, etc.

It would’ve been nice to have a fridge in the room, but totally understand why there is not.

Room was excellent with a wonderful bathroom and balcony.

The breakfast was disappointing for a hotel that has a restaurant in it. Just needs a coffee machine and juice machine so guests can help themselves and more choices.

We had a lovely spacious room with balcony. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection and proper coffee. There is a bar and restaurant which served excellent food and wines. It is a short walk from a carpark which gives discount to hotel guests.

No complaints at all

Great value for money and modern, well maintained and very clean interiors. The restaurant is great and it’s in a great location. Thoroughly recommend.

The WiFi was really bad. When it was working it was slow but it often failed, usually for many hours. I’m sure they can improve this!
