It was honestly stunning. Like 100 percent my vibe. I was a solo Black woman traveller with limited Spanish proficiency and they literally catered to my every need. The young lady with dark brown hair from Spain Was INCREDIBLE literally like treated me like a queen ! Adored the ENTIRE staff. truly everyone was a dream. Room was stunning. It had an odd smell i think from the stone but i opened windows and burned incense.

Just that odd smell in the room almost smelled like sweat? but again opened my balcony and burned incense and it was masked .

The staff was absolutely amazing. The owner took great care of us from the time we walked in the door, making sure we were comfortable, we had a safe place to park our vehicle, making sure we enjoyed a glass of champagne in their beautiful courtyard before even going to our room. We paid for laundry service and they ironed and folded everything and brought it to our room. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Abaca. When the owner found out we got engaged the previous day, she upgraded our room, gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne, and even left a handwritten note on the pillow congratulating us. Love, love, love!!!

Our room was amazing in everyway, we were given an upgrade upon our arrival. We arrived on the early flight and we were aware of the 4.30 check in. We arrived around 1 pm expecting to dump our bags and go for a walk. But no the staff were amazing, the lady made us both a coffee and enjoyed it in the amazing seating area and then reception confirmed our room was ready. Couldn't fault anything

The aircon in the suite we booked kept turning itself off and was quite complicated to put back on - the room was also advertised as sound proof which it wasn’t and also the toilet sliding doors are glass with a section in the middle frosted but absolutely no privacy if you go to the loo which was quite awkward my partner and I had to ask the other one to leave if we needed to use the WC

Great finish to the room. Nice welcome note on the bed and a heart made of red rose petals.Good size on suite with spa bath and separate shower. Good location.

2 free Bootles 250ml water but told the 2 500ml bottles in the fridge would be chargeable. No simple kettle to make a cup of tea just a pod coffee machine. Poorly double glazed window that let you hear everything outside. Roof terrace with no view. Would expect breakfast to be included for the price charged and not €17.50 each- we don't each much so just had coffee & croissant on the sea front

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect location - 5 minutes walk from the beach and from the restaurants in the Old Town of Altea. The service at the hotel is exceptional - the staff cannot do enough for you - they are so attentive and personal. The hotel is beautifully decorated in keeping with the Old Town of Altea. It is fresh, spotlessly clean and the attention to detail in the rooms is lovely. It is obvious that a lot of care and thought has gone into designing this hotel. The breakfast is fabulous - fresh, homemade produce and the setting in the courtyard is beautiful.

There is nothing not to like - it is perfect!

Staff at reception superb. Offered overview of facilities and places to visit/eat (which were really good). Excellent location, easy walk to old town or beach. Every room at the hotel that we visited was very, very clean too and tastefully decorated. Really relaxing stay.

Comfort, looks/style, air-quality especially for those sensitive to mold, old furniture etc. Also the service was good. Always someone at the front desk and service at breakfast. The location is perfect. Close to the old town where many of the best restaurants are and also not far from the beach.

When I booked I did not see that my room was with a different interiors and in another building from the main building that had the front desk and breakfast. But it was nothing to complain about, could have been clearer on Booking.

Great location, just a few minutes from the main square and the sea. Spotlessly clean and good attention to detail in the rooms. Breakfast selection was better than we expected.

The room was a bit on the small size.

Decor and location.

Requested an iron for later. No one asked for my room number to leave it in. The same in particular happened with the loo roll. There was only about half a roll in the toilet. When we were going out we asked for some to be left up but nothing happened.
