Perhaps the staff could be more informative. I booked the trip for myself and partner and I don't feel the staff gave much information. I asked and booked the spa and was told there was no charge unless I booked a treatment. However when I took my partner down for a birthday treat I signed a piece of paper agreeing to 40 euros and once I signed continued inside and found the Turkish Bath to be out of use(the one thing I wanted to use) and the lady never told us before entering to give us the choice to accept or not.

The staff are lovely especially Sara the receptionist she made us feel so welcome went above an beyond to help us, the whole hotel is beautiful clean and modern our room was lovely also huge balcony kitchenette very comfy bed, we loved the b heaven roof terrace an pool spend most days there in all we loved everything about the hotel

Only issue I would say is you probably need to rent a car to get about as it’s quite secluded but worth it for the peace and the views

Breakfast was correct, room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. The main concern was the pool restaurant, no experienced waiters, normal food quality, they switched the ice-cream sauce. I can not recommend this restaurant but there is no other available un the hotel. In general is a 3-4 stars hotel amenities. Not valued the money we paid

Be very carreful with this hotel because they double charge you for the parking. You cannot exit the parking daily without paying the parking card at the machine in the underground parking (accepts only cash and does not give any receipt, just the card back) and at the check out the reception charge you again for the parking for the hole period. They refuse to check the cameras from the parking telling you that they cannot see the payment on the camera, even if the camera is exactly near the machine. Also you cannot exit the parking without paying because the barrier is not opening without entering a confirmed payment card! So you will loose the money if you will pay daily, like we did!

very comfortable beds, very clean, fabulous pool and immaculate gardens. The staff accommodated us at the Barceló La Nucia Hills hotel whilst the Palms hotel was closed until June. They helped move us back to the Palms when my brother arrived in June and put us in rooms next to each other for which I’m most grateful

The pool areas were lovely - very relaxing atmosphere and, despite a small minority reserving sunloungers, there were always sunloungers available. The room was large and clean. The lifeguard team were very pleasant. Emma, a member of the restaurant team, was incredibly friendly. When making a request via the Barceló app, the hotel was very responsive. The hotel is a short taxi ride away from Benidorm centre.

The food served as part of the breakfast and evening buffet was cold. The coffee was self-serve from a machine and it was poor quality (on one of the days, the coffee machine was out of action completely which was a shame).

The hotel was very nice, modern and clean. Breakfast was great, they have fresh orange juice, which is not always the case even in 5 star hotels. The service was great, at the reception and at the restaurant. The cleaning service was very respectful and kept the room clean and tidy. The personnel in general was very nice and useful. The spa is small but has everything you need for relax. It would have been better if included in the price, at least one day. Although the parking has high cost and not absolutely necessary since it is possible to park outside the hotel, we didn't mind to pay for it because it was more confortable. All in all a good choice, I guess in summer will be even better. If the management pays attention to improving some missing things, this could be a great choice when staying in the region.

On the days with lower occupancy some of the products in the breakfast were dry, maybe an option would be to put less quantity and restock often. We had constantly problems with the room cards, which we had to change almost every day. It would be great if they could change or update the system they are using. For a 5 star hotel, there were many amenities missing in the room, there was no vanity kit or at least a tissue box, preferible from recycling paper. The minibar was empty and there was no tea kettle or coffee machine. We even had to ask for the slippers and bathrobes at the reception.

Very clean and big suite (45m2) with a terrace. Great view on the mountains. Very comfortable beds. Free parking for the car.

Many employees do not speak English well. There is a fee for one hour in the spa (around 20€), which is very unusual for this hotel category. No restaurant during weekdays (we had to go to the hotel next to this one). No shop in the hotel.

Everyhting was great. The room, the breakfast, the dinner, the SPA.

The parking price is huge, given the fact you have free parking just next to the hotel and across the street. Also, we don't really like the fact that you need to ask for everything at a 5* hotel, bath ropes, slippers, etc. They do provide these things but on request only.

Lovely facilities. Really nice pool area. Very quiet and relaxing stay. Just what I was looking for!

Staff weren't up to 5 star standard - often didn't know answers to questions and didn't try to find out. Also absent a lot - had to wait for lifeguard's arrival to receive/return towels, nobody to greet at breakfast. Things like that. Some quick training on customer service would help. Nothing too terrible that would ruin a holiday, just not quite up to scratch.
