A real highlight of our trip. The pool area is so relaxing and in a fantastic location looking towards the hill of Altea! Breakfast was very very good. Enjoyed the patio “el fresco” dining overlooking the pool & city. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Staff was super helpful and maintained a laid back warm vibe. Excellent for a couple ! And walking up & down all through all the little alleys was so enjoyable. I wouldn’t bring kids here

Finding the entrance & Parking is not easy but well worth it if you ask for help from the staff!!!

The hotel was so quiet, staff very personal and always wanted to help. Drinks were added to our room throughout our stay so no need to carry money, cost of these were similar to the local area and could be enjoyed by the side of the pool. Complimentary water and coffee were topped up every morning. We also got chocolates and champagne on arrival. Not sure if this was for every guest however as celebrating our honey moon it was so lovely. A 5 minute walk to the beach front or 10 minutes up the hill to Alteas old Town.

The car park charge was a little more expensive than we thought it deserved however can see logic as secure garage in area with little parking. I would note if you are taking a long or large car the card park is difficult to get in and out of. They do keep an area free for turning however a guest had parked in this on our trip which made it even more difficult to get out of however staff were on hand to offer advice and help in this situation

Location superb, 10 mins to beach down the hill and 5 mins to the old town, up the hill. Room lovely and spacious, with imaginative decor. Inviting terrace and pool, private and a sun trap. You could eat breakfast or dinner on the terrace if warm enough. Staff very friendly. All in all lovely relaxing stay.

Nothing really. Free parking is literally a ten minute walk away. As expected in an old town the streets are narrow, so if you want to drop of your cases at the hotel, large cars will have difficulty turning round.

The staff was amazing. We were greeted by Danique (sp) - she was amazing. She was working the front desk, then we would see her in the laundry, helping with the restaurant, etc. She was everywhere and her English speaking ability really helped with our poor speaking Spanish Skills. The stay was close to old town and our walking visit of the hillside shops and church was outstanding. The entire place was excellent. I caught a garage post with my car on my exit (my mistake and probably costly). The environment out back of the hotel was beautiful with the great pool and quiet dining experience. We are not breakfast people, however, everyone enjoyed an amazing breakfast in the morning as well as a great dinner at night. We would surely stay again.

My own driving skills and damaging my car on my exit from the parking garage, was not the hotels error. However, surely wish that would not have happened. I cant't think of anything the hotel could have done better.

The hotel is located in the beautiful neighborhood with the gorgeous views on the mountains and the sea, not too high up the hill and within short walk to the beaches. The room we stayed was spacious. The hotel design is modern but keeps traditional charm. And the most important are people who worked at the hotel were very hospitable and friendly. We arrived late, but they cooked delicious dinner, and next day arranged massage before our departure. We are very pleased with the experience

There is nothing to dislike

It is a beautiful hotel and the location is lovely. The decor is lovely and of a high standard. Breakfast was very good. The staff were lovely.

The staff are lovely but overstretched. In order to check in or order a drink, you had to wait till they finished their other duties. Checking in could take awhile until someone was free- working the bar or the restaurant. It was similar at the bar. Bearing in mind the cost of a night's stay, you would not expect the hotel to be understaffed to that degree. They did work hard to make your stay pleasant.

We loved the quiet location in the heart of Altea. The facilities and dining were exceptional. We ate at the restaurant several times and loved the hospitality and local flavor of the place. Our only issue was with the confusion on the price of our room. We initially booked a superior room with a tub and did not get that room. When we questioned this with the front desk person he stated he would give us an upgrade in some form of add on such as an amenity in their spa but that never happened even after many attempts. We were disappointed with that encounter.

Getting the wrong room, a standard room, and pay for a superior room.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, large, and well lit. The staff were friendly and spoke fairly good English. There is a really very nice spa in the basement which is well worth the extra charge. The hotel generally has great views. There is a restaurant which serves delicious food. It's in a great location in the old part of the town not far from the beach.

Not much! The parking nearby is tricky, but that's just the old town. There is a hotel car park but it is expensive. It's a matter of personal taste but I think they could do with playing different music!

Location was kwerky. Nice but with some reservations

Far too expensive for what it was. Short on details like towel hooks ,not enough toiletries, inadequate tea and milk. Swimming pool had no depth markers and was deep. We stayed in annex over road and comments relate mostly to that but was supposed best bar one room. Parking area is limited and again expensive in hotel..

Earthy Sustainable Ambience! Non bling bling, non overhead shouting, measured, very tasty Elegant Clean. Not need anything more. The lighting is also excellent.

A small gymnasium / sauna/ Jacuzzi. A 24 hour reception. A bike rack and electric scooters/scateboards rack. Also knowledge of the reception staff about the routes to Alicante Airport.
