We got a very friendly welcome, and in English too! The place was easy to find, and check in was seamless. Our room was very clean, comfortably appointed, and the location was excellent, close to Avila for our one day tourist walk. It was handy to a supermarket (about 100 metres down the street) and other important facilities, like the bus station.

All good. Enjoyed our stay. Just a small point, but for someone with slightly failing eyesight, some parts of the internal stairs down to the front entrance were a little hard to negotiate in the poor light of the stairwell. Maybe some sort of marking on top of the front of each step would make things a bit safer. Thanks, on behalf of future customers.

There were 3 sittings for breakfast I was to late bookings for first settings there was the the smallest coffe maker I have seen a member of staff was there to to make coffe for you don't think they can cater for more than 15 people at a time again staff were great if I was getting early train or bus would have to do without breakfast as result missing early slot

Lovely, clean and comfortable room in a convenient location. Fridge in the room was useful. I was allowed to check in just before 1pm, and the 12 check out was appreciated. Staff were very nice. A good choice and excellent value for money

The kitchen/dining facilities were not very good, just a coffee maker, toaster & microwave. No kettle or a sharp knife for preparing sandwiches. This wouldn’t have been an issue if it wasn’t advertised as having catering facilities and didn’t spoil my stay

I liked the warm welcoming by the staff working there, who was kind also to make me an early check-in. The room was clean and the fridge in the room was a nice addition. It is a 7 minute walk to the city walls. Excellent value for the price I paid.

The hotel is built in a rather classic style and would need in some parts a bit of refurbishment. Just don’t expect luxury, but this is not what I was looking for, so all was good. Adding the possibility of breakfast would be nice, although there are venues around the hotel that offer it.

Breakfast wasn't included so no comment. Good location only 10 minute walk to train station & 15 minute walk to old town fortification walls at Alcazar Gate. All major attractions are within walking distance if you enjoy walking. There is a supermarket just a few doors away from hotel. Mini fridge in room & a lounge on 3rd floor with microwave, toaster oven, sink, large fridge, cups, utensils, etc. that guests can use.

An electric kettle or coffee maker in room would have been nice as lounge not open until 10 am.

Breakfast wasn't included in the price, which is fine as I always prefer to wander off and get my own breakfast in a bar or cafe. But - probably because of the time of year - there weren't many bars open and unfortunately without a map of the town it was difficult for the young woman on Reception to explain to me where anything was. She did show me on the screen of her computer but that wasn't really much use to me. I did however find a lovely bar not too far away where I read the paper and had pan con tomate and cafe and orange juice for €4 I think. I loved that there was a tiny overhead light in the bathroom that stayed on all night, like emergency lights. Very helpful for people who are travelling around as I was --- it's very easy to get disorientated and forget where doors and etc are The staff were very helpful and polite, including the woman who was upstairs cleaning --- she couldn't have been more helpful as well. They were all really lovely.

I wish they'd had maps of the town so they could have explained to me better where things were. Daniel told me that the Tourist Information was in a big plaza and that I'd see the tourist tranvía there but I couldn't see any sign of it and I don't think I'd ever have found it only for the tranvia driver showed me where it was. Same for the yemas of Santa Teresa -- the young woman (I'm sorry but I forget her name) -- showed me on the laptop and on her phone how to get to Chuchi Pasteleria but I need actual paper maps to follow and the hostal didn't have any. I'm sorry that the photos are all sideways. I can't rotate them.

Everything was fine, I was here second time and will go back for sure. Good location between the train station and the historical monuments. Nice and helpful staff. Room is comfortable and good to stay in it.

There is no breakfast opportunity in the hotel.

We really liked the location, halfway between the walled city and train station. Very walkable with convenient grocery store. Room was ver nice. We were surprised how quiet it was at night (that’s a good thing!).

The receptionist ( (Louisa) was so welcoming and helpful. She gave us a lot of recommendations for places to eat and to see which were fabulous. Location was great, close to the old town.

The hotel is on a main road, so the traffic noise was a bit loud.
