We chose the hotel because of its short walking distance from the train station. It proved to be a good decision. The surrounding neighbourhood was quiet, and about 15 minutes walk to the walls of Avila. Our room was quiet and comfortable. All staff at reception were exceedingly courteous and helpful. We would definitely return.

Absolutely outstanding, cannot recommend it highly enough. Less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. They kept my luggage for me both before check-in and after check-out at no charge. Very spacious and clean room with air-conditioning and a little mini bar (so a fridge!). Room service if required. Has a lift. Lovely reception area and a cute bar/cafeteria that appeared to be popular with locals too. Didn't use the breakfast room but it looked good.

The hotel is just welcoming from the moment you walk into reception, the staff we interacted with were all helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean and furnished to a good standard given the price range of the hotel. The bathroom facilities, toiletries etc were of very good quality. Parking on site (paid) is also a welcome bonus. Location to the old town is also good.

Only two minor criticisms; there is some noise carrying through the bathroom walls where you can hear every movement. Also the bed in 310 tends to slide across the floor if you sit up in bed against the headboard, a simple fix

There are major roadworks in the area, we did not know until date of our stay, We did then get an e-mail, but, it was difficult getting to the hotel. Hotel was a little further away from the walled town of Avila, than we realised. We would stay there again, more likely in summer, when the walk would not be a problem, As it was very cold in November.

Super friendly and helpful staff, I was giving great recommendations on what to do in Avila. The hotel is a block away from the train station which is great if you are traveling by train like us. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet Breakfast was good

I always stay at this hotel, at least one time per semester. I love the staff, the parking, the location and all the things provide. It is super nice and sometime they even make an upgrade for me in a room with a terrace.

I love the hotel, but this time the air condition was not working proper. I could not control the wheather and early in the morning was hot and at night also. I think is something, but is not a big problem.

Very close to the train station. You can walk to the centre or take a bus (bus stop right in front of the hotel door, super convenient). Staff couldn't be more helpful. Comfortable bed. Quiet even in a room facing the street. Very good breakfast.

I loved everything, specially the room and the bathtub. The whole building is very early XX century. And is beautiful. In the bar there is breakfast as well as some drinks for the late evening, the staff was amazing and the prices are a lot lower than you would expect from the decorations around.
