Location is perfect, right in the historical center, that's why we chose this hotel, seemed to be a very good value-price ratio. The interior of the hotel is amazing, a historical building altogether. I can also recommend the hotel restaurant, from breakfast 'til dinner perfect choice for all kinds of meals, very good quality food with reasonable price.

The only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the bathroom, the shower/bathtub area had mold! The handshower had a very short cable, it was difficult to take a shower comfortably there. The bathtub had some holes, which they tried to fix, but they were quite visible and I wouldn't want to take a bath there.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Avila. Staff were pleasant and efficient; the room was large, comfortable and very clean. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was really nice with plenty of room for storage; contained a bath and a shower; shaving mirror; good supply of bath products. The restaurant/cafe is lovely, in the old courtyard (covered with a roof). We didn't eat on the restaurant side of the space, but used the cafe a couple of times and enjoyed the food. Breakfast buffet is good - although the continental option is a bit mean - just toast and ONE glass of orange and ONE hot drink!

Nothing - it's a very well-run and comfortable hotel.

perfect location next to the Cathedral and Start of the wall. Attractive covered courtyard housing the restaurant The 32 euro tasting menu was good value. our room balcony overviewed the entrance to the cathedral. 15 euro Avila ticket is good value if you make enough of the paid attractions in 48 hours , but most close early. some of the non religious attractions are interesting to visit.

16 euro charge for overnight parking and the room was not very sound proof. There isn't a lift from the carpark to reception so offload your bags at the entrance to the hotel which is further on round the building after you see the hotel sign banner on the back of the hotel

Right in the heart of the old town. Very attractive rooms with lots of character. A potential 10/10 if it had a pool and....

We did not eat in the restaurant because it was laid out like a school canteen. Planting and the better layout of tables would have created greater intimacy, as would some live or background music. We would have liked to have enjoyed some wine in the lounge area, but were told that this was not allowed! A lounge area within the atrium would have made this possible if the staff did not want to serve in the lounge.

Upon our arrival at the airport, we were warmly greeted by the incredibly amiable driver of the complimentary shuttle service, which was truly outstanding. Upon reaching the hotel, we were met by an exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms were delightful, and the beds offered remarkable comfort. We were pleasantly surprised with a welcome drink at the bar, and the room amenities included complimentary fruit, coffee, and water. While the location is slightly outside the city, it is within walking distance, and the hotel offers a convenient free transfer service. I wholeheartedly endorse this hotel and highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel with an atrium just within city walls. Great buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Room was nice.

Arriving at 3.15 to check in we tried to get a table in the restaurant for lunch but were refused although it looked like there were tables available. It was then difficult to get lunch in nearby restaurants too as lunch is generally served between 2 and 4. I feel the hotel restaurant should be more accommodating for guests arriving at the designated check in of 3pm.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city. The hotel itself is also beautiful, clean and well kept. The restaurant is excellent (the menu was great value) and the staff there were lovely. The room had everything needed and was well furnished. A very nice place.

The bed was like a rock. This is obviously a personal preference and so it depends on the type of bed one likes. But for us it was terribly uncomfortable. The main problem with the hotel is noise. We could hear pretty much everything going on in the room next door, which for the price we paid is not acceptable. If we had wanted to share a room with others (which is what it felt like at times) we would have stayed in a hostel for an eighth of the price. In addition, there was lots of noise in the corridor from other guests and the cleaning staff. Overall the lack of any insulation meant it wasn't easy to relax or sleep. A real shame as the hotel overall is lovely, but we wouldn't come back for that reason.

The hotel was luxurious and classy in a beautiful old Spanish style from the amazing restaurant courtyard to the rooms, simply gorgeous. The location was perfect, everything was on the doorstep, from the cathedral to the many good restaurants. We cannot fault this hotel in anyway. We found the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, they could not do enough for us. The restaurant food was of a very high quality with staff that made the experience special.

The hotel is literally across the street from the beautiful cathedral, and you are right within the old walls of Avila with walking distance to all of the sights. It's a gorgeous old hotel with a ton of character. Rooms are massively large (tall and spacious). Bathrooms are also huge. Parking is in a garage right under the hotel. Amazing, free breakfast in a beautiful atrium space.

Everything is very tastefully decorated and traditional, but the rooms are rather spartan. I would describe the decor as timeless & stately minimalism. I was sitting in the room one morning and was thinking that the room decor could exist in the 1950...1978...and even now.

A stunning building in a prime central location. Easy walking distance from all the main attractions in the old city. Superb breakfast, and good value too. Some motorbike parking available in the underground car park (paid).
