The staff was wonderful. The property is very pretty, clean and well-located. Breakfast was lovely - I have a gluten intolerance, and they really took care to make sure I had gluten-free bread and pastries.

The furnishings are not the highest quality, but that is reflective of the price, which is a lot lower than other nice hotels in the area. My main problem, however, was that we requested 2 twin (single) beds, and we did get them but they were stuck together so it was the same as having one double bed with two separate sets of bedding (so each person does have their own duvet comforter). It doesn't make any sense. Two twin (single) beds should be pushed apart to actually be two separate beds.

The hotel is of an unusual quirky design mainly concrete and steel. Our room had direct access to a shaded terrace from which we could watch many birds (swifts or swallows) catching insects. there are easy walks through the town and into surrounding vineyards. The town contains many wineries and the hotel stocks many examples of the local wine. We were lucky that on the evening we arrived there was a wine and food tasting at the adjoining wine shop which we enjoyed.

While obviously the designers put a lot of thought into every detail the lighting control was weird. If you wanted to use the toilet during the night you had to turn on every light in the room which your partner might not appreciate. We had to use the torch on our mobiles. Maybe there was a control we missed if so it was not clear.

Amazing breakfast and fabulous size of room. Nice selection of wines available in the hotel wine bar, and tasting is offered from local Bodegas, in the hotel. You must have a car to visit the bodegas in the area, the hotel is only 10 mins from Marques de Riscal and Marques de Cacares. Logrono tapas bars are 25 mins drive and worth a visit.

Not much to do on site or in the surrounding area for non wine drinkers. An outdoor municipal swimming pool is available next door, if you wear a swimming cap!

A really modern building incorporating the history of the area. From the moment we walked through the door we felt welcomed We had an amazing room on the ground floor which was spacious and and luxurious. We had a really large balcony with really comfortable chairs Breakfast was amazing with a great variety to choose from The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious We ate in the dining room one night and this was beautifully cooked and perfectly accompanied by a local wine suggested by our waiter. The staff were all charming and helpful We used this as a site to cycle from and there are plenty of fairly challenging rides near by with really lovely villages to visit

Nothing really The shower could do with a little shelf in it but I think our room was newly done and I suspect this is in hand On all it was pretty perfect

Its design, friendliness, food, helpful staff.

Access tricky, outside front terrace decking warped and dangerous for oldies like us. No pool. Roof terrace lovely but lacked shade . Few facilities in village. Room a bit shabby ( door to fridge chipped and poorly fitting, table also chipped and floor around coloured Despite these comments, we did enjoy the hotelshower screen quite grubby. No grab handle in shower.and we had problems with lights. Staff most helpful but prob not resolved for 3 days . Everyone who worked there gave their best but were really stretched when hotel was full. More staff would have helped. Ants on wooden serving table in restaurant at breakfast - they live in the cracks and the single coffee machine queue was a joke. People waited for 5 or 6 minutes at a time. Just get another one!

This is a beautiful place to stay in the rioja area. The room was spacious and had everything we needed including a lovely terrace. The hotel breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant for dinner was delicious (it’s really the only place for dinner in town so keep this in mind when you book). I loved the gym which had a great rooftop view of the local town. The staff were wonderful and very helpful with everything including organizing a walking tour of some of the local wineries. I’d definitely stay here again!

Our lights didn’t work initially but it was rectified very quickly by the front desk staff despite it being quite late at night. This made the safe not work when we checked out but again they were very responsive to getting it fixed so I really cannot fault them!

Very nice and friendly Good view from roof top Food Good though it is expensive and not a lot in quantity as normal in gastrononic hotels So if you would like to eat a lot, better find other places Children option is very good, though, as well as breakfast We wish we had more time to explore the area

A bit strange design of the room - toilet/ bathroom separated just by glass wall, not door so you do not have privacy It is very uncomfortable as all other things are very good at hotel Also, finding this hotel in the town could be quite tricky. It is not very well signposted and quite confusing if you are driving and have never been there before. I could suggest driving through town very slowly as you can easily miss the turn, and as roads are narrow, it is not always easy to reverse back

Its a modern building in a very quaint town. The hotel is very well designed with great terraces to enjoy drinks. The rooms are very big and spacious and breakfast is included. They had bikes that you can use free of charge so we were able to explore the area and local bodegas.

We booked a triple room as a group of three friends (3 adults on the booking) and we had a room where there was no door on the bathroom which made showering very difficult as there was not a lot of privacy. Our friend had another room which did have a private bathroom so it would have made sense for us to have a room similar to hers. Also the coffee machine at breakfast is not good and extremely slow, you have to wait like 10 minutes in line to get a coffee.

I love the building, the rooms and the technology. The staff are very friendly and the building id truly beautiful with large rooms and spaces.

The only disappointment is the evening meal though breakfast was very good. The dining room has some great touches with barrels suspended from the ceiling but the menu is very limited and quite poor. Given the lack of alternatives in the village, this is a major issue in terms of staying there if you do not want to drive.
