I have stayed in this hotel for 6 nights with my family. Its an excellent hotel , very nice interior, classy and new. All in this hotel was perfect. The Hotel is very clean, with nice breakfast and perfect atmosphere. we were supposed to stay for two nights then we extended our stay. Location is 5mn walk from hotel. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well decorated. The staff were very helpful and hyper nice ( Harish, Louis, Belem, Marti and others and even the guy on the pool and the manager "Alicia" is wonderful she helped us in many ways and was supportive and very nice. She offered too a nice gift for my kids birthday. Harish went under the rain to stop a taxi for us. For anyone who is going to Barcelona you have to visit this hotel and disregard any negative comment that was mentioned in the poor reviews. Believe me I was there and there is nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Thank you again for every single worker in this hotel for your nice hospitality.

Nothing all is perfect.

An excellent hotel in an excellent location for exploring the city, and when you enter the hotel, the peace and quiet is an excellent contrast. The hotel is modernly decorated with special attention to detail. We stayed as a family with two children and the room was excellent. Special praise for the Mezza restaurant and bar, excellent food and cocktails. Friendly staff who speak English is a big bonus in Barcelona.

Great location with tons to see, do, and eat nearby.

Had to ask front desk staff more than once for the same issue. Once was for towels and once was if our room was ready at checkin. 1. Came back from lunch at 3:00 and the room wasn’t ready. Was told our name would be called. We sat in the lobby and our name was never called. Room was finally ready at 3:45 when I went back and asked. 2. We didn’t need room serviced so I just went to front desk and asked for towels. Several hours later, no towels. When I went the second time to ask for towels, Belen did not relay the message to housekeeping. She took charge, got the towels, and brought them to our room. Great service by Belen!

These are tiny things but just saying because you asked Attention to detail of housekeeping a bit lacking - loo rolls not replaced (had to go to reception to get some!), tea-bags not replaced (had to go to reception to get some), water not refilled at all during 6 day stay, no iron in room My credit card was charged, even though I'd pre-paid - it got sorted but still frustrating as there is always a time gap payment to refund and I'll be landed with the international exchange charges

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Beautiful decor throughout the hotel, including the guest rooms. We were particularly very pleased with the complimentary breakfast options. Lots of healthy selections, considering it is more difficult to find healthy food when travelling and eating out while on vacation. Overall, very satisfied with the hotel. Thank you Icon BCN!

When storing our luggage, it was simply left beside the front desk. It would have been more reassuring if it was locked up in a back room. There was only one front office agent, and they could have easily walked away to assist another guest and the luggage would have been unattended.

the property was in a good location. hotel was very clean. good terrace area with a splash pool. Pedro & his staff are extremely polite & they just couldn’t do enough for there guests. breakfast area, is better then a five star hotel, Felix & his team are amazing. they carter for everyone & I mean everyone.

a new bar could be build inside the hotel, as the one that’s standing at the moment, just looks like it’s been an afterthought in the lounge/reception  area. it’s actually spoiling the design of the hotel.

Lovely Hotel. The building itself was very charming. The room was clean and spacious (we stayed at a quadruple room with a 14-year old and a 12-year old). The breakfast was also very good with a nice selection of freshly made food (you can also order pancakes or eggs cooked to your liking). The location was superb for exploring the city -you can walk to all main attractions. Lastly, the staff was very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Everything was great!

The location was great, near to the city center, and shopping area. Rooms were clean and equipped with all the necessities. If you need anything in addition, you can ask at the reception. The breakfast was great, you can ask for gluten and lactose free meals if you want. The staff was very friendly.

They could clean the closest window to the reception desk, looking to/from the street, it looked dirty. The beds were comfy but not so spacious.

This was a great property for a 5 day stay! Upon check in, I believe his name was Pedro, was so kind and courteous. He helped me with all the basics and was open to any questions I had. When needing help to clarify directions or book a car, the front desk staff was exceptional. Breakfast was amazing, had so many options! Alicia was amazing she would go around and check on everyone asking if they needed anything additional and was always a friendly face to start my morning. The pictures provided by the property for the booking are accurate and my room felt huge! Comfy bed, spacious room and well equipped bathroom. Location was perfect for what I wanted. Felt like it was in a more quiet area of the city compared to the gothic quarter etc. but was still close to all the action with a quick ride on public transport. The metro was a few blocks away. Shopping and restaurant selections were great giving multiple options depending on the mood of the day. I did not try Mezza the restaurant on sight for dinner, but they did give you discounts if staying at the hotel which was very nice!

The sewage smell that would waft into my room when utilizing the AC. They had a lot of air fresheners in the room which helped but sometimes you could not get rid of the smell right away. To be fair that's the the city of Barcelona and the hotel was doing what they could to help control it.

Breakfast was really good- with the excellent service, very tasty food, with great variety. Felix was simply amazing, and very helpful with kids- they did a mess and the staff was very nice and accepting. All staff of the facility was great and helpful. We get a kind of a family feeling

The room was too small for us and I regret that I made a reservation for 3 people- we are 2 adults and 2 small kids (4.5 years old and 1 year old). So it is better that you reserve the largest room available even if you are just a couple.
