The location was great, close to many central points of the city, accesible. Good place to stay if you are looking for a quiet hostel with the possibility to do remote work. The hostel was ALWAYS clean, never found anything that was dirty. Beds were comfy, rooms have lockers to leave your staff. Kitchen was accesible for everyone but I didn’t use it.

In the room where I was staying, the AC was super noisy, made noise every 20-30 mins. Especially at night, it was hard to get good sleep sometimes. Also, lot of light coming from the windows and street at night Other than that, the experience was great!

- Location. Around the corner from metro. And right at rambla start - terrace. Good for clothes drying but great for sunbathing while having breakfast - cleanliness. Kitchen, bathrooms, rooms.. everything is clean and smells like it - Internet speed.. streaming or video calls without hiccups - not a party lodge. You can get a proper sleep yet meet people, without being driven crazy by drunk fellow travellers arriving at 7 am drunk

A TV in a shared space for watching football matches

I can express with no doubt my satisfaction with my stay at Rodamon Barcelona. It was one of the best hostels ever tried in my travelling experience, in terms of atmosphere, cleaning and location. The whole experience was beyond my expectations. for approx 300-320 euro (50-55 euro/night) I stayed for 6 nights on this hostel, money were worthy, as the hotel facilitates your experience in Barcelona at 360 degrees : - location: right in the heart if Eixample area, 3 minutes away from Diagonal metro (L3 & L5) 5 min by walk away from La Pedrera, and 10 min by walk away from Casa Batlo'. Perfectly connected. - Service & cleaning: a dirty place is a red flag for me: but no issue face here at Rodamon, the reception is super gentle and eager to give you support/information/solutions at any time (even when you forget your access card inside the room :) . A special thanks to Carina, Mercedes and the whole team. My room was in sharing with 3 other people, i spect a bit more to have a room with the bathroom inside because i feel more comfortable, the bathroom was small but functional. My roommates were extremely pleasant and lovely to stay with, i also made friendship with some (but this can be pure luck as-well). The bunk beds were comfortable and extremely clean, the staff provides with a big towel and a locker included in the price, and sheets/towel are replaced every 2-3 days max as far as i noticed. - Environment : the place was very lively and by my surprise for all 6 days i saw only calm and nice people walking around the common areas reading a book or working with the laptop (lots of digital nomads around here). People are generally eager to get to know you and i had some very interesting chats with individuals from all around the globe. There is a common area indoor and a beautiful and large inner veranda with tables, recliners for people to chill in open air.

Only few thing that can be improved, to make all perfect: - vending machines: there are 2 with a clever variety of products but during my stay 1 was not working (the one with the water bottles) :( please repair it - Open space: can you consider close the doors between the indoor common area and the open veranda? In summer it can get very hot also inside for someone to stay few hours sitting with laptop or a book. - Wifi : there is free wifi but inside the rooms it was very hard to have a decent connection. can be improved.

Very comfortable and large beds with a curtain. Air conditioning worked really well and it was a good location.

Not the most social vibe if you are a solo traveller and entrance was a bit hard to find. Google maps suggests it’s on the main road but it’s on a smaller lane way.

The staff was always friendly and helpful, everything was clean and the showers had a storage surface. The climate in the room was good, so you don't sweat like outdoor. They had a laken and not a duvet so it's great for the summer when the room temperature is too cold.

The breakfast has only toast and no buns. The snack (muffins, cake etc) taste like from a supermarket. It's not my type but some like it. I recommend to take a bigger lock with you because the average size isn't big enough to keep the locker locked. I had to put two on it. You can buy a lock from the reception for 6€ so if you forgot it's no problem.

The location of the hostel is perfect! Close to transport so it was easy to go to the airport and barcelona sants station. You can walk or take transport to any of the sights and the neighborhood of gracia ia great for restaurants and bars. The staff was so helpful and kind. Mercedes was able to move me to a bottom bed, I was so grateful! The beds are all so comfortable for a hostel (!!) but I’m not good to climbing to the top. The first night people were noisy but the rest was rather silent and I slept so well. I stayed in the female dorm that was en suite but actually preferred the big shared bathroom right across the hall which was always very clean.

The Central House offers very good accommodation for the price if you’re ready for sleeping in a dorm. The location is in a beautiful old building perfectly situated at the beginning of Passeig de Gràcia less than a 5 min walk to Diagonal metro station (L3), which makes it easily accessible when coming from the airport. Bathrooms and showers have been kept very tidy as the whole hotel itself. There is a lovely big terrace to sit outside while having breakfast, which is itself quite recommendable at a reasonable price. The personnel has been very helpful and charming. You could also get towels and a lock at low prices. The only downside is being in a dorm which turned out to be a bit uncomfortable as space is precious and there are small and noisy metal lockers only. If you don’t mind the latter this place is going to be perfect for you!

More space and coat hooks for wardrobe and towels

This is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in. Modern, clean and spacious. Beds were clean and comfortable. Diego at reception was very helpful when my flight arrived late and emails were responded to promptly. There is a nice breakfast for 6 euros and free coffee in the morning. There is a large working area with natural light and a terrace. I would have happily stayed if a bed in a dorm had not gone up from 30 to 60 euros the next night (and 90 at the time of writing - this is a hostel is it not?!).

One downside is the noise at night - rooms are next to a busy street and drunk people walking around at 4/5am keep you awake. Not the hostel's fault but there could be better soundproofing. Inside the room there was also a loud, intermittent buzzing noise every 10 or 15 minutes which I think was coming from the air con and waking people up. I had also enquired about the wifi beforehand as I had to work the next day and was told it was fast and reliable. Whilst the working area was lovely, the wifi was sadly not reliable at all and kept cutting out for me and others every 30-40 minutes including in the middle of a call, so I would keep this in mind if planning to work here.

Clean and comfortable, blackout curtains in each bed that allow some privacy, nice terrace for summer and location-wise very central with easy access to metro. Supermarkets and restaurants close-by and there was a vending machine with water and snacks inside the hostel which was handy. I was working remotely during my stay and there was enough space with separate tables to work during the day and the wi-fi was sufficient for normal work including video calls, so no complaints in that regard.

The kitchen is quite small and doesn't allow simultaneous cooking for more than 2/3 people. Utensils also very limited.

My bunk was clean and large. I'm tall and heavy but the top bunk in the 6 person room I was in was solidly built so I could put my feet over the edge and wide enough that I didn't fear falling off. The sheets were nice and clean and long enough. There were shutters in the room for keeping the light out and good blinds on the bunks. I asked the staff to turn the Aircon on and they did. I feel bad for the people already sleeping who had it off because it was hot without it.

The showers were clean when I arrived in the afternoon but were dirty and wet on the floors outside the showers in the morning after people had used them. I'm not sure what can be done to avoid this. They charge extra for renting a towel and buying locks. The breakfast was overpriced. I asked the staff to turn the Aircon on and they did. I feel bad for the people already sleeping who had it off because it was hot without it. They should leave the remote in the room and not at reception.
