We were blown away as soon as we walked through the door. It's a cool cave. We were there in August and didn't need air conditioning. The location is beautiful with great views. The pool is a great touch. It's a very private place with one room. Of course half the experience is the people, Clive and Allen are great hosts, very knowledgeable about the area, polite and went out of their way to help us. We are very grateful. We had a few drinks together and had a good conversation. Thanks guys. I would recommend the cave of dreams. Just don't go when we want to go!

Good breakfast, welcoming friendly hosts, fridge, tea and coffee facility, internet within the room, covered parking, quiet rural setting. Handy for motorway, permanently warm (internal temperature constant at about 18 degrees C) and an ideal introduction to what it is like living in a cave dwelling. Because it is a cave you have to accept that it is different from your usual hotel experience, but that is the whole point of booking this property.

Not a complaint; just a regret. There is one solar light that stays on all night on the patio and without that it would be a great dark area for seeing the stars. I should have put a towel over it and enjoyed the star show.

The cave is is the only accommodation at the property and is very quiet. It is located on the level above the owners, Clive and Allan, who are on call and very attentive if you require them for anything. The cave is one large room with sleeping and sitting space, a private shower room / toilet in an external separate room off of the large terrace area. The parking was good and is under a covered area. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The terrace has good views and there is plenty of external room for stretching out. There is a very nice rustic restaurant / bar which serves excellent food which is approximately a one minute walk down the driveway. Well worth a visit.

Nothing to dislike except you are most likely to require a car to be able to reach this fantastic accommodation and interesting area which deserves to be explored.

In summary, I loved staying at the Cave of Dreams. The property is beautiful, the room is private and very comfortable, with its own balcony for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. I am a solo traveler on a motorcycle and it was the perfect place to stay for a few nights, with safe parking for the bike. Also Allen and Clive are wonderful hosts.

It was so quirky and unique, probably the best place I've stayed in! The beds were so comfy with lovely fluffy throws on the bed if we needed them. We had a mini fridge with fresh bottled water and milk for us, also fresh ground coffee. The bathroom was so beautiful and I've never seen any shower like it ever! Will defo be back next year to stay longer You must book this amazing place!

this is exactly the sort of place we love to stay. it was quirky, cosy and very comfortable - considering the blistering heat this summer, the room was still cool enough for a good nights sleep. There are lots of little personal touches around the place and the room was spotless. it is very close the the motorway, just a couple of minutes drive, but feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Baza is only a short drive away. Allan gave us directions to their “local” a lovely cave restaurant called Al Jatib where we had a great meal and watched the sunset. we really enjoyed having a chat with Clive over breakfast, it was interesting to hear what they’ve done to the place since they arrived, you can tell how much they love it there. I’ve no doubt we’ll be back at some stage in the future. Hopefully the new bar/restaurant opposite will be up and running by then.

we only stayed for 1 night!!

The hosts were really nice, kind and friendly. They made very tasty breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, coffee, juice, marmalade, yogurt, fruit..) The room was clean and comfortable and chilly in summertime. There is also a beautiful sunset view. It was a really nice experience and definitely will come back for more days.

Allan and Clive gave us a big welcome. We loved the wonderful large terrace with mountain view. The breakfast was lovely. We only stayed for one night on our way to Alicante but wished we could have stayed longer to explore the area.

No complaints

Breakfast was excellent. Clive and Allan recommended what to visit in Baza , where to eat and areas to visit together with directions. We had use of the outside kitchen with BBQ if required.

Beautiful quirky style, quiet location, very relaxing, the hosts were very lovely and welcoming. Coffee tea and a couple of beers as a welcome ....lovely touch ❤️
