The location is excellent. It is what I call a classic Spanish hotel, wood paneling everywhere, that incense used in churches greeting you, plenty of old world furniture -- generally a nice old building and well maintained. The price was excellent and good value for money for our one night stay. We didn't use the spa or restaurant so can't comment on that. The staff were very friendly though and you can park outside the hotel whilst dropping off and picking up luggage. We would stay here again for sure.

There is no hotel parking, but there is plenty of free street parking close by, which we were directed to by the receptionist. The only thing I think could be improved slightly was the meal time, we have a 15 month old daughter and 8pm was too late to give her dinner, so we didn't use the restaurant for this reason and headed into town to feed her somewhere earlier. I appreciate this is more of a Spanish cultural thing, but having some food available at an earlier time would no doubt be appreciated by international travellers and young children who don't eat so late. Just some feedback, apart from that, lovely hotel.

Gorgeous hotel. Beautifully restored. Alicia, the receptionist was most helpful during our stay. She even downloaded the history of the building (in Spanish) but extremely interesting to read. We had the menu del dia on the first day of our two day stay. Absolutely HUGE portions. My husband had a salad as a starter which would have normally served 4 people anywhere else in Spain !! The red wine was gorgeous and we live in a famous Spanish wine region. All served by Antonio, who was a lovely man. Got to mention the hot chocolate which is served in the bar. I always say, the Spanish "do chocolate" and the two we had were exceptional. Loved, loved, loved our regular ones. Mine with cream as hubby doesnt like cream.

It is a lovely hotel in the heart of the city centre. It is well maintained and a typical Spanish style hotel with lots of dark oak panels. Would I stay here again? Definitely.

Breakfast was a little basic. But the cakes that were provided were excellent.

we thought breakfast was very good value and location was excellent. we did not use the spa.

hotel parking was not on the premises. The walls in the room are thin and we cloud hear the TV in the next room until late at night.

Extremely clean and spacious room. Great shower. Very central location. (We did not use spa or restaurant facilities.)

Hotel car park is not easily accessible though we were lucky to park on the same street as the hotel.

Central location with great character. Great price for rooms and food and drink. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable.

Car parking was very secure but a little difficult to find and could be tricky to park depending on size of vehicle.

Hard to park there so you need to pay for their parking which is reasonably priced. You need to take some complements for the spa and we could not access the spa despite having paid for it for not knowing

Lovely old building in the old town. Very quiet room, good sized bathroom. Very good value menú del dia served in the evenings too.

Not easy to park, but that applies to all of Guadix

The property was very nicely situated for shops, restaurants and bars.

Strong smell from the sink in the bathroom, it needs to be fitted with a trap!
