The staff was very professional and welcoming to my limited spanish although each staff member was proficient in English. The hotel is placed in a rather remote area with a bar where a lot of locals go to as well, which makes it very authentic. The breakfast was amazing value! Be advised that the region is in brown bear territory and that there are not a lot of easily (by car) accessible hiking routes close by. However, the ones that are available are of outstanding quality and beauty.

Great value stay. Rooms were comfortable enough and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a superb meal in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival - I can fully recommend eating here. Food and drink was not expensive and the outside area (we didn't get chance to use it) looks great to sit and chill with a beer. Parking is not secure, but there didn't seem to be any concern regarding this, in the area

Stayed here previously and much enjoyed. Wonderful bedroom, very comfortable. Good staff, great location, particularly in sun. Interior very smart and dining room well presented. Had good meal ( although not brilliant).

Breakfast very disappointing for quality of rest of hotel. Enjoyed dinner, although first choices not available. Perhaps too large a menu as it would appear much was frozen and reheated as required inc. dubiously cool garlic soup! Main courses finally chose were simple, but adequate.

The hotel also works as a restaurant. Very kind staff. The beds were super comfortable, with no noise problems from neighboring rooms or outside. Late checkin is also possible, the staff from the restaurant could help with it (just had to ring a bell). Breakfast was included in the price.

Amenities/furnisment were a bit outdated, but honestly, I didn't care, everything worked well. Water pressure and temperature fluctuated in the showers, but not significantly that it would matter. No fridge in the rooms.

Exceeded my expectations good rooms, easy to find, parking was easy and good location. The dinner menu was typical Northern Spain and good quality fare. The Breakfast was pretty standard (small hotel) noting to write home about but adequate. All in all very good value and ideal as an ‘in transit’ stopover.

Great location for getting into the Picos and good parking for motorcycles / cars etc. Good standard of food and drinks available and very clean. Friendly hotel perro (dog) !!!

breakfast does not start untill 0800 at the earliest and is very basic with toast being the wamest thing, OK if you like that kind of thing, we were looking to be set up for the day..... there are no facilities for coffee etc prior to the breakfast opening 0800hrs, make sure you have water with you before retiring to bed.....

We enjoyed our breakfast very much. The hotel had a general air of relaxation which enhanced our stay. The staff were helpful. We found the food substantial and rustic. It was a good stay

As said we loved the breakfast, the other meals were different from what we were used to. The hotel were using local produce and for that they should be commended, perhaps we are a bit British in our taste of ingredients!

It was clean. Friendly and good food. Close to where I wanted to ride my motorbike without have to use the same roads.

To be honest there was nothing I didn't like. A hose to quickly wash my bike down with would be nice after the rain bikes where covered in dirt 😬

Good value Hotel. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Location is excellent for accessing the Picos. We were cycling and the property has a locked garage available. Restaurant and bar are very reasonably priced, and the portion sizes are extremely generous.

The WiFi signal is poor throughout the Hotel and only works well in the bar area.

Small, family hotel where you feel very comfortable and welcome. Rooms are clean, staff is nice and in good mood. Breakfast is delicious - fresh orange juice which you can already smell when you arrive and toasted bread. Hotel has also terrace on the grass under the trees where you can spend your free time and relax.

Bed was too soft in my opinion.
