The gardens are exquisite and cared for with exceptional attention to detail. If a leaf dares to fall it is picked up immediately! The pool area is beautiful, with masses of seating, and the pool itself is spotless. Every single member of staff is delightfully friendly and helpful. The apartments feel spacious and are immaculate, like the entire complex. Personally I didn’t much care for the green theme which looks a bit drab, but we got used to it. The bathroom was attractive and there was plentiful hot water. The view from Block C is glorious. The shop was surprisingly well stocked considering it only caters for hotel guests. The restaurant is attractive, with plenty of inside, outside and semi-outside seating. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was fine but not particularly exciting, especially for vegetarians, though what we ate was always of good quality. Parking was sometimes tricky, though using the garden gate rather than the front door helped considerably when we were parked further away. The airport was nearby, which was ideal, especially as it isn’t particularly busy and the planes using it are small, so the noise wasn’t a nuisance at all. The area close by seemed slightly rundown - empty shops, closed cafes, etc., but for the most part we were out and about (we hired a car), so that wasn’t a problem. Not far from gorgeous Santa Cruz. All in all, we loved our stay at Hacienda San Jorge, and would highly recommend it for a lovely peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings. A very well-run establishment.

We liked the territory a lot - especially for the child it was perfect with the small digs and Lola :) the pool was good and just eat the beach - also good for children

We didn’t like the food at all! Poor breakfast and also the dinner .. we were expecting better choice and quality of the food for the money we have paid ..and also with the room - 2 adults and baby of 3 years old to provide 2 single beds united .. not very comfortable with child .. but as soon as we were just 2 nights we decided not to bother anyone ..

Spacious appartment with all comfort you might expect. comfy bed, big sofa, decent kitchenette. very clean everywhere and strict/efficient Covid protocol. good breakfast spread and friendly service in restaurant as well in reception.

- needs deco pillows on sofa, quite hard to sit on - restaurant chairs need repairs - paint jobs needed throughout resort outside areas

Good traditional room, super gardens, nice breakfast, excellent location.

Picnic breakfast as we had to leave early was a bit poor. No pool bar.

We booked a superior sea view room- it was very spacious with a small kitchen, lounge area and balcony. There is a very spacious pool area, plenty of sun loungers and lovely well planted gardens with water features and a resident parrot. Location is good, direct access to black sand beach with one beach restaurant. It was easy and quick to get taxis into Santa Cruz - 8-10 euros each way. Staff were very helpful.

No kettle in the kitchen, no welcome things in the fridge or basics like tissues. The bar was open 10am to 3pm and served complimentary tea and coffee, a nice touch, but there was nowhere open to have an evening drink or a drink before dinner. Due to the location of the hotel the balcony’s don’t get afternoon sun on the sea view side and limited sun on the pool side.

it’s close enough to the main town, airport and port, but it’s far enough away too. The staff are so friendly and the grounds are superb with the wildlife free to enjoy everything from Parrots to Turtles. It is very well laid out and kept immaculate. If you want the beach, cross one not very busy road and you have your own beautiful beach area.

Everything is clean, the garden is beautiful, nice pool and beautiful views from the restaurant. Onsite supermarket and free coffee are a bonus. Kitchen and bathrooms are nicely renovated.

It's dated. broken tiles in walkways, dirty concrete pathways, no elevator and aircon. I'll think its a better 3star plus hotel, not a 4 star or even 5star

Everything you needed was close by. Room cleaned daily. Sea view 😍 food lovely staff 👏 amazing
