In a good position in the centre of the village. The room was very clean even if it was quite bland. The staff were very polite and helpful.

I would call it more a room rental than a hotel. No breakfast was available for the price of the room which I thought was a bit high. Our room was in another building located next to the main one where the small reception was. It was quite noisy when other guests entered to go to their rooms. The rooms were very simple and didn't have a cosy feel to them however they were very clean. The Hotel Underground Car park positioned 7 minute walk away was extremely difficult to enter and exit with a larger car. A Fiat 500 would be the only car to enter without feeling stressed entering and exiting. The second night we left it in the street in a free car park place. The public car park is 26 euros per day / and part day.

The room wasn’t overly large, but I didn’t expect it would be. Everything was immaculate. And the water pressure was great. The staff was really kind and helpful.

As I expected I did hear some street noise during the night, but I was pleased to see that there were 2 pairs of earplugs on the bedside table. I didn’t need them. Also my room was right by the front door so I did hear the comings and goings. But I booked very late so I didn’t mind that I didn’t get the best room. One other thing was that the car park was quite difficult to find. There wasn’t anything visible to let me know that I had arrived.

This was the PERFECT hotel for my trip. The staff was so incredibly kind and it was so easy to get the keys when I was checking in and drop them off when I was checking out. The room was so clean and the housekeeping came by daily to tidy up the room. The location was absolutely perfet - less than 5 minutes walking to the beach and all of the restaurants/bars. Also close to the bus station which was great for me since I didn’t travel by car. I 100% recommend this place. Bonus: they have adorable cats who hang out around the property!

Our stay at Ubaldo was a very positive experience. The room with balcony was very pretty and tidy, the bathroom was big and had everything you might need. The hotel also provided us with a free parking spot in a private covered garage, exceptional added value. There is no free parking option in Cadaquès, and the paid parkings are extremely expensive, so what hotel Ubaldo gives is really outstanding. The location is fantastic, right in the center and the staff is friendly and approachable.

The only reason why hotel Ubaldo doesn't score a 10/10 is because the room was not ideally isolated for noises coming from outside. Other guests in the hotel were rudely loud in the middle of the night and unfortunately we could hear their steps and voices from the room. Also the air conditioning unit was quite noisy, but unfortunately indispensable during the hot weather. It should be noted that the hotel provided us with ear plugs, however, not everyone is comfortable sleeping with ear plugs, unfortunately.

Cadaques is a very, very beautiful town. We travelled from Girona for our second visit here. The hotel is located in a very pretty street with a few small art galleries in it. There is also a small bar, 'Brown Sugar' just off the street about 100 metres away which has fabulous live music. There is also a Greek restauraunt a few metres away. It is about 3 or 4 minutes from the beach and main town area. Excellent location. The owners/staff are lovely , friendly and very helpful people. The room is not a high tech modern design but a beautiful, traditional room with spacious ensuite toilet and shower. We had a small balcony where we could both sit comfotably.The room was immaculately clean and was cleaned every day. We would certainly recommend this hotel and location.

A very small point, which would not prevent us returning. A kettle or coffee maker in the room would be appreciated. There was no other negatives about this lovely hotel.

It seems lkke the rooms are in two different buildings. We stayed in the building next door to the reception. The room had us positively surpriced; was a lovely balcony and it had the vibe of being on a Greek island - feels like a typical Greek hotel (perhaps helpful for those who know what I mean). The location is 5/5. I recommend the place :)

Cleaning lady was really proper rude - twice - both to my friend and I, so perhaps she was having an off day or had just had it with tourists. Nonetheless that kind of killed the mood. Our particular room had a mild sewage scent - the rest of the hotel didn’t. I’d still stay here but adress the issue if we were staying longer. The really downside of these rooms is that you hear everything from people going to the bathroom to walking in the hallway. Bring earplugs. I’d still dtsy here though. We liked the place in general and balcony was a huge plus :)

Well placed for the bus station and the main car park. Easy access to the beach and the old town - a really nicely run pension hotel.

You need to plan ahead to access Cadaques as it’s hard to reach (which is one of its attractions) and also if you intend to visit Dalis house - plus this hotel can get full so book and plan ahead - this is not a dislike about the property - more to help those booking.

A nice airy simple hotel right in the old section and close to the beach. We enjoyed the location, walkablity, excellent cuisine nearby, boutiques/crafts, very handy cafes etc. Very clean. Nice balcony- rooftop views. Free underground parking possible for certain cars.. our mid range car fitted -just!

Wish we’d had a glimpse of sea view ( if available? ) but rooftops v pleasant. Be warned - no lift and marble/concrete stairway makes everything fairly noisy ( including chatty staff who start early ). Also rooms not very soundproof. Beds /bedding quite tired & could definitely improve quality! ( especially given Spain is “cotton capital”? )

Quiet, clean, with good curtains to block out light. The heat pump on the fan setting provided some good white noise. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location, close to the beach but out of the way of most of the chaos by the water.

The shower doesn’t have a door, which led to the whole bathroom being a bit wet after a shower. They did provide extra towels however which helped!

The property is in a central location with easy access to shops on the beach. The staff were very helpful and the room was spotlessly clean. The room had a terrace, which would have been very useful had it not been raining!

The room was quite adequate, but a little small. The two chairs were hard wooden ones, perfectly ok for sitting at the desk, but for relaxing and reading a book in the room, not so comfortable.
