The location of the hotel is 2 km from center of Roses. But the Canyelles bay & beach is breathtaking. So for us it was totally worth the walk of 45 minutes. There is a coastal path (marked white/red) with beautiful seasight.

The location was great. It's not quite in Roses city centre, but some 1 km distance from it. The beach was very nice, and we discovered a beautiful pathway along the shore that seemed to end up in Roses city centre for a nice walk. Unfortunately, we only discovered this the last day. The hotel is situated on a relatively small beach front and there actually is an indoor pathway (you cross under the quite busy road) to the beach where they have a café/bar/food place. The hotel was clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff.

The food serving schedule was confusing and unpredictable. Sometimes a reservation was needed, even if the tables were empty. They seemingly had different lunch/dinner tables/menu, but the food offering was exactly the same, only with different physical menu. Don't expect a variety of food choices, as there were only a handfull alternatives, both in terms of restaurants in the area and choice of menu, but that is to be expected in such a small area.

The location is so wonderful. If you don’t know the area it’s a bit daunting to discern where in the region you want to stay. The answer is HERE. A sweet perfect cove on the Mediterranean with restaurants but away from the big beach scene. The staff was so accommodating- helped us book. The massage room and masseuse were great. The boat ride to Cadaques from the main Roses beach was so easy. We loved our 3 nights here. Don’t hesitate if you can find your dates!

A minimum 3night stay because I’d love to come back in August but don’t have 3 nights available in my schedule.

Location. Due to A very sad reason we Made A memorial trip for Our daughter. We were here 17 years ago for The First time. She Made her First Steps in canyelles 3 weeks after She became 1. Our room was not finished When we checken in. The staff helped us out imediately with an other (better ) room and A bottle of cava, So So sweet. Very much apreciated! Nice hotel, good staff, good service, good bed, good shower, very hygiënic and great breakfast . We highly recommend!

The locality was superb. Super place with lovely helpful staff. Pool was a perfect temperature and drinks were very reasonable for the quality of the hotel

The restaurant. Poor quality, bad cooking. Basically every meal was awful. My partner and I both left our main courses. The worst Paella I have ever not eaten.. Our starter of Moules marinière (Mejillones Marinara) were more like Winkles Marinara they were so overcooked. Good Hotel - bad food. Avoid the half-board

The personnel was exceptional! Always helpful, friendly and spoke many languages. We had forgotten a bag at the airport when we arrived and they (Meritxell and Jordi ... gracias!!) took action to help us get it back! Amazing service!! The location: June was a great time to go (before summer crowds), it's quiet (except for cars on the street), the beach is beautiful (sand and minimum waves). Food: breakfast was also exceptional with so many options. We only ate once at the restaurant and that was good. There are a few restaurants on the street so there are enough options. You can also take the little bus to roses if you want more options (last one returns at 21:00 though). The hotel is clean and rooms large enough. Room with a view is better if you can afford it. This hotel / location is great for couples, families, singles... less for young people who want a lot of action.

Parking can be difficult. The hotel parking is 21 Euros per day, a bit much. There is a parking lot close by for 5 euros/day in and out. We were lucky to find parking on the street every time we returned home. Pool is nice but a bit small. The hotel is on a street that can get loud at certain times (pool also faces the street)...that was the thing we liked the least. Otherwise everything was great!

Guest Services (Jordi and Meritxell) and their team were exceptional!!! Since we did not speak the local language, we felt they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable with the room, suggested many places to visit with detailed directions, were very professional and personable. We felt very safe. After deciding to extend our cruise vacation, this hidden gem put the icing on the cake. The facilities, all personnel, and the location are a 10 plus. We have shared this information with our USA friends and family. We had such a great time that we look forward to returning to this hotel in the future. Hoping to bring more family members with us.

We had a fabulous sea view from our room and this set the tone for our stay. The service in the hotel was excellent and the staff could not have been friendlier. Breakfast was first class. Everything in Canyelles is near the hotel and Roses is an easy walk along the coastal path. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. We booked half pension and were positively surprised by the quality of the food with lovely varied dishes and seafood and delicious desserts.

It would be good to have some fans in the restaurant as it was quite hot. Room are a bit small but tastefully decorated.

This hotel was a real find for us. Directly across from a beautiful beach in the Bay of Canyelles. Comfortable room, quality breakfast and a very high standard of cleanliness.

There did seem to be a shortage of staff in the restaurant. One or two could have had a warmer attitude to guests.
