The grounds, location, room layout and the balcony are all fantastic.

I cannot believe that they charge to use a safe that is already installed in the room! That is sharp practice. They also charge for pool towels, which, again they should really consider as part of the service. There is no freezer compartment in the fridge, which means you cannot have ice, or store anything that needs to be kept frozen, which, given that these are basic self catering units, this should have been considered. Looking at other reviews, these points come up again and again as negatives in what otherwise is an excellent choice for Cala D'or. I think the hotel should really consider making these few changes, and they may find that their review score improves considerably.

I had a great stay at your hotel, especially enjoying the activities, pool, daily room cleaning, and the beautiful rocky beach nearby. The complimentary birthday card was a lovely touch, and I appreciate it.

However, I must mention a significant issue that occurred at the restaurant/bar next to the pool near the rocky beach on the 25th of September. When I went to get my complimentary drinks there, the woman was exceptionally rude, with a tone that left me feeling uncomfortable (but I still managed to keep my cool and tried to smile). In fact, I regretted even getting the complimentary drinks due to her behavior. It's important to address such incidents to ensure a more pleasant experience for all guests. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, but this encounter left a negative impression.

Very clean clean rooms, very comfortable beds. The gym facility had a decent amount of workout equipment to suffice. The location was gorgeous with some lovely tanning locations next to the ocean within the facility. 2 ocean swimming areas very close by. The sand beach was pretty dirty but that's more so on tourists than the hotel staff. There's a cliff location where you can jump off directly into the water which didn't have rubbish floating in the water which we stuck to instead. Keep in mind very family oriented place so you will have lots of kids running around and screaming Incase you are looking for a quiet more adult like stay. However in the evening things are quiet and the hotel offers evening entertainment.

The AC was kinda weak. But that might have just been the AC in our room. Even at the max lowest setting I found myself waking up at night from being too hot.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. We had an apartment with the view in an old building and the view was stunning! The apartment had very spanish interior and fully equiped kitchen. The bathroom was spacious and the apartment was very clean. Hotel is located in the perfect spot between 2 beaches. They're both stunning, clear and warm water, and not that crowded, as I was expecting. Breakfast was variable, every day there was some special new dish, everything was delicious. Coffee wasn't good though. Overall we were very happy to stay in this hotel, and would love to come back! Special thanks to the reception staff, very professional and always ready to help. Manager Mariela was the best!

one day we found 2 big cockroaches in our apartment. We called the reception and they sent a person that killed them. As they used spray that was very smelly, we asked if we can stay one night in another room and they were very kind and provided us another room. Unfortunately the next morning we came back and found 2 more of them and asked if we can stay in another room for 1 more night. The manager was very kind and gave us another room once again. Though it was very sad to hear from the manager that cockroaches are the problem that is consistent in that area and that they can't get rid of them. Though in 2 other rooms we didn't find any.

Very comfortable room, including huge bed, good black-out blinds and a cot lovingly provided for our baby. The location is a bit away from the town centre which suited us but there were plenty of lovely restaurants nearby. The breakfast was nice but expensive, so we only had it one morning. The gym was also well equipped and completely empty. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Pool wasn’t heated (not a problem if you travel during peak season). Despite the room being self-catered, it would be good if some small necessities were provided like shampoo, tea/coffee etc.

Location beside the sea. It has beautiful swim spots and choice of swimming pools. Accommodation was clean. Kids adored the kid’s club! This was a major bonus. It was highly engaging and interactive and they looked to go every day!

My only complaint is I left a 9 carat gold chain in the bathroom and notified them very quickly (within a couple of hours). I was told it wasn’t found. It had broken so I’m certain of where it was left. It was my own fault, obviously, for not packing it, but that just left me a little disappointed. Other than that, kitchen could do with a dish cloth, so very little to complain about!

I liked our room it had a kitchenette which was very useful. I liked the position as we were close to the breakfast area and could see the pool and the sea from our balcony. There was crazy golf , table tennis, and a combined tennis court/ football pitch. Breakfast was excellent- a great selection and very fresh.

I didn’t like not being able to get a sunbed by the pool. People left their towels there and went away for ages. The hotel did try to manage it but not every day. The parking situation was really bad and if you came back in an evening you had to park quite a way away. Sometimes our room wasn’t made up until quite late.

Absolutely spotless place, the location was perfect right beside Cala Esmeralda beach and also have a spot on site to climb down/jump into the sea. Bar food was lovely, drinks were very reasonably priced. Pool area really nice and plenty of Sun beds. Also supermarket was 10 steps from our room with food, drinks everything you need. Fresh towels every day if we wanted.

Only a handful of small negatives. The bar closed on the Tuesday in the middle of the day not sure why we had to go across the street to Esmeralda Park for lunch which was a bit odd also in the Studio apartment the toilet and shower are basically side by side and the drainage wasn’t great which then meant if using the toilet it was very wet around it. The Aircon didn’t work great BUT we didn’t report as it was working enough to keep us relatively cool so just reported it on leaving.

I came for a weekend for my birthday, the property was impeccably clean, the facilities were just what we wanted from a short stay. The staff were friendly and polite. The location was perfect and it the just the right part of the season for us to enjoy the views and town with the busy period behind us with children back to school. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Breakfast was nice and I really liked the selection we had. If I had stayed longer though I would’ve wanted more variety of hot breakfast. The shower in the room was a little dated and needs improving as wasn’t a 4star experience. Overall everything was perfect for a short stay.

Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Location on the water was lovely. Pool was freezing in April! We didn't have any food at the restaurants, plenty of restaurants nearby. Mini golf and the astrompitch for soccer/tennis have a fee (€15 an hr for the pitch). Suitable for elderly, buggies and families. Shop and free parking on site. Apartments small but well equipped and cleaned every day. Apartments on one side (left side as you face the sea) don't get any sun throughout the day.

Pool was very cold and the spa facilities were closed.
