We stayed one night for the second break of our journey by motorcycle from Bilbao to South. Nice unique hotel with old deco, clean and comfortable. There's a nice restaurant and café in the hotel. We had set menu for dinner, and the food was simple and tasty. We had to leave early to continue our journey, so we didn't have breakfast. Breakfast is not included in the room rate anyway. Guests just have to come to the cafe and order a la carte.We could park the bike in the inner court, which was great, especially under the cover.

A couple of paper cups in the bathroom or mugs or glasses in the bedroom would be great to drink water.

Pleasant staff, spacious room (suite), good air-conditioning, no light penetration, a very comfortable large bed and satisfactory bathroom. Very secure parking, which was reassuring. Perfectly correct and reasonable restaurant with an solid wine list.

Not being able to dine until 20:30, though this is the local custom; if one wanted to retire early, one would be better advised to lunch late and substantially. The air-conditioning unit was a bit noisy. The breakfast offering was a quite limited.

Well located for the journey from southern Spain to the ferry from Bilbao. A really interesting building which was spacious with large, comfortable rooms. Super friendly and competent staff. Good area for walking the dog. Lovely food.

A comment rather than a criticism. The restaurant doesn’t open until 8:30 (late for us Brits especially when on a long journey) and does not allow dogs (which is the norm in Spain).

From check in to departure everything was perfect. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The restaurant served excellent food and the guy who worked on the bar in the evening/early morning was very informative, helpful and funny. Our room was perfect, we booked a suite as we do like the space. There was a corner bath with overhead shower and a walk in wardrobe... The room was very comfortable and very clean. We met the owner of the hotel on our first night and she made us feel very welcome. Our car was parked in a secure parking space behind a locked door.

What could have been better / warmer weather, so we could have used the outside pool.... Everything else was just perfect.

The rooms and public spaces were clean and the staff welcoming. The receptionist opened the gate to the inner courtyard for us to park our motorbikes securely overnight. Dinner in the restaurant was superb and fabulous value for money. The hotel itself is quirky but lovely with some nice decor and features.

The bed was a little saggy but only a very minor criticism.

The room was basic but perfect. Clean and quiet, comfortable bed, nice shower. The restaurant at night was very tasty, we ordered 2 rooms, one for the children's and they gave us connected rooms that fills like we have privacy, yet, children's are close to us. Breakfast was very basic - croissant, Bread, and great orange juice We asked to change dates and they accepted with no extra charge

The “Bodega” was an amazing place. Fantastic Staff. It was a meeting hub for locals and travellers alike. The food was delicious. The building amazing. I cannot recommend it more highly if you love to travel and see different things. I loved that it was animal friendly and though I didn’t have my pet it made me happy to see other families with their pets.

Location was ideal, close to motorway network but far enough away to be quiet & peaceful. A good place to break the journey from Santander to Andalus. The evening meal & breakfast were excellent as was the local wine.

Nothing really. It's a fairly typical Spanish hotel. May not be to everyone's taste but we liked it.

This place is magical! It is so beautiful and calm. We only stayed there, passing through Andalusia, and unfortunately, it was booked out the next night. Otherwise, we would have stayed! I can only recommend it and if I happen to be in the area again, I will stay there - for sure!

This hotel is like a museum, with lovely old furniture and matching fabrics. The dining room waiter was very nice and helpful, and the food was great.

They have Spanish-style pillows, really high and hard. Switch to two separate pillows for the double bed and you’ll get the top grade from me!
